Which one come be Indian Garri again na? Are we not supposed to rule the rest of the world when it comes to garri?
But why are people, I mean Nigerians, hellbent on destroying our own country and economy all in the name of 'importation?'
God, please save my country!

Take it or leave it, the president is fine. He's just taking a long vacation and as good people of Nigeria, we all wish him well.

RadicallyBlunt:
My dear forget about motivational talks. Determination this and that. Many have done it, and sin still caught up with them. David sinned after years of knowing God. Job accused God when his travail seem unending. Apart from major sins sef, there are so many little sin people don't know they commit cus to them its normal. Thinking that an offended who came to beg the offender (when actually it shd be d other way round), is a weakling..that alone is a sin on its own. To say there are some people you won't greet cus of what they are or did to you is already sin. This self-esteem issue of a thing is actually pride if you look well into it. Cus if you depend on God in all, you wont even feel hurt for esteem reasons. Helpless addictions to drugs cant be stopped easily just because theyre sins. Sin run through our veins, only the Almighty God thru d holy spirit can help overcome it.

Jesus does not only save from sin he also gives the power to overcome it. Sanctification removes d nature of sin from man. The only role man has to play is absolute submission and admitting sin has power over you, so God can empower you above sin.

Thank you.

Family / Re: Why Do Most People Love Their Mother More Than Father? by Fairgodwin(m): 10:22pm On Jan 31, 2017
I have always wondered too. I never loved my father half as much as I love my mother.
But now the whole thing is beginning to trouble me, because I know I'm a man too and I'm likely to have kids someday who might, no not might, but DEFINITELY love their mother than they love me. This is making marriage very scary and uninteresting to me.
I think it is just a natural phenomenon that we can neither 'fight' nor erase. Guys, I'm sorry we just have to deal with it.

That you are an indoor person sometimes can work out to your advantage, it gives you time to focus.
In today's world, you don't even need to know people in that sense.

Step 1 is identify what you are good at. Step 2 is find how you can be paid for it. Step 3. Keep on improving your skills
This is where Google becomes your best friend.
For the freelancing for example, you can google freelance writing jobs. There are sites like fiverr.com, upwork where people post services they need.

For the resume review, you can set up a site for that and even advertise it on Nairaland, and ask people to recommend you (as long as you are providing good service).

Just try to think wide is my advice. And to be afraid to start small.

I appreciate you for this, greatly too.

Have you considered writing articles for blogs? Or writing/transcription services on fiverr. You can also consider setting up a resume vetting service for proof reading CVs. You have to move into the space of what can I do with what I have (good reading / writing skills).

All the best.

I never really considered all that, perhaps I thought none [of them] would give me a chance. Another problem is, I really don't know people and I hardly go out or socialize. I'm always an indoors person and most people consider me boring. I wouldn't mind if you could give me a heads up though. Thank you. cool

Who's asking this question, the government?
Well, my own problem is, though I now fully live alone and fend for myself, but most people in my area look down on me like a very 'useless' and irresponsible guy simply because I'm jobless.
Not that I'm even relaxed about it though, I'm trying.
All the bills are weighing me down and the little savings I have is used up while my little hustling has not been yielding much lately.

Please anything you guys can do for us would be greatly appreciated.

I'm very good at writing and by the grace of God I've won a few essay competitions here and there and a few prizes along the line too; I have flair for reading too. I am good at speech writing, book review and editing, and apart from all that, I can do PA work quite well, and I have lots of working experience spanning many years [from my early exposure to working right from my time as a fresh school leaver]. I graduated sometime last year but I've been working even right from school, hence my working experiences.
Please I'm not selective and I will take up any job (even if the pay is not much).

Please, my hobbies are, COOKING, READING, WRITING and of course, TRAVELING.
I am willing to take up anything.
Please my email address: godwinotis@gmail.com.
Thank you all.
