Don't blame them, after stealing Apple's patents, copying apple's designs blindly, riding on apple's back to success, they still got mouth, they are no different from their Chinese brothers that trive on piracy.
RomanceRe: Meeting A Nairalander And Falling In LOVE by fairheven: 11:01am On Jul 25, 2014
alextayo: I met one sweet pretty lady here last year. We were actually planning to settle down when irreconcilable differences about religious belief reared its ugly head. I am a conservative Catholic (and can NEVER change for any denomination) while she is Pentecostal. She wants me to meet her pastor for courtship approval which i dont really subscribe to but intend to do since a lady has right over wedding plans. Then then took things further by declaring that

1) she wont attend my church after wedding because she is also an active member in her Pentecostal church

2) I will leave my Catholic faith and join her church because she wants her husband to support her future calling. (future calling my ass)

3)lastly she wants the kids to also attend her church.

How can I, a staunch catholic, Choirmaster and Organist be going west and my family will be going east on sunday to worship God...the family that prays together stays together.....that the end of our story
You guyys did not realy fall in love, wen u do,ur denominations will not stand in ur ways...am not sayin it won't matter, but it won't "stand in ur ways"
FamilyRe: Is It A Womans Duty To Greet A Man "Good Morning" by fairheven: 10:39am On Jul 25, 2014
5minsmadness: You really want to know? Ok.
Its not about ego, its about respect.
Am sure your parents don't greet you first thing in the morning, they would have taught you that greeting your elder is the curteous thing to do. Apart from indicating that you wish the person well it shows politeness, that you were well brought up. We are not in the western setting when you see your father and greet him by his first name e.g "Hi Steve". Its an insult in our setting. Even the westerners are beginning to realise that there is a missing link in setting a foundation for their kids to show respect to the elders among them.

Forget all these single ladies and those married females who come online to type long epistles because they feel oppressed in their matrimonial homes due to no fault of ours and find Nairaland as a place to vent their frustrations. Many of the married ones will never admit it but they will even kneel down to greet their husbands in their homes then come here and start spreading like peacock. The single ones shouting are still single for a reason. They are either small girls or they are old babes who have no respect and no man worth his salt will go near any of them for a serious relationship-hence their singleness.

The boys supporting these women are mainly little kids looking for likes and an opportunity to PM these single ladies later so they can "hook-up".

A responsible and respectable man approaches a woman for a relationship and when he sees she is wife material he will go ahead and propose, approach the woman's family, do introduction, pay bride price, follow all the regular procedures and then give the woman the white wedding of her dreams. The woman does not marry him under duress i.e by force, she marries him of her own free will. She marries him because she has fallen in love with him and knows that he will be able to take care of her needs for the rest of his life.. This is a huge responsibility. That is enough to accord him that respect. He has earned it. It is a little thing to show that respect by greeting him first thing in the morning. It is just common courtesy and shows that the woman is a good woman, a woman who is proud of her husband.

Those single girls typing a thousand words and trying to encourage themselves in their false beliefs will continue to remain single if they practice this antagonistic behaviour outside the internet. Don't get carried away by their friendly exchanges and seemingly smart wit. They are lonely and looking for who to add to their club.
Wow!are u insinuating that apart wt ur parent tot u,u can't tink for yasef?as good as their intentions were ,it was based on their own mentality and background, u shud know better than ur parent, that is y they send u to schoo, that aside wt is ur personal conviction?for god sake saying goodmornin to a younger person does not make u inferior rather It shows maturity

5minsmadness: A respectful wife will greet her husband first. It won't even be a matter for argument.
A man who actively greets his wife first thing in the morning is a pvssy.
Seriously? What is the meaning of good morning first of?in simple term u r affirming or wishing som1 "a good morning"so wt is the big deal on whu greets first, even an adult can say goodmornin first to a child,an it does not cost a tin.,again first ask ursef the Meaning literally.I greet my younger brother first wen I cal him on fon,its just a wish(like merrychristmas)an it can come from anyone;its haggling over issues like this that gives many people high blood pressure!

There is nothing like right process.government determines WU bcomes NFF president,"he wu pays the piper dictates tune"FIFA IS A JOKE!

Its high time we develope other places to be mega/commercial city like lagos.
Based on the plan that federal government had with the worldbank,;after lagos the next place to be turned to a mega city is KANO,Onicha an port Harcourt.

Life has a definite span, just that man does not know it.
BusinessRe: Time Running Out For Nigeria’s LNG Projects by fairheven: 1:37pm On Jul 23, 2014
Are u aware the LNG project will be supplied gas from the Niger-delta? So it makes more economic sense to site the project in the Niger-area.
As par ajaokuta,if I start we no go Finnish today, because even federal government has not been able to Finnish.

Even at that ,some of them ,if not all have gone back to school to sharpen their skills further an gain more know-how.so school is still important.

Alexk2: My heart skiped @ the mention of OKLNG. these are huge employment generating
firms that can turn the economy of the country around in few years.
I did my 6mths SIWES there in 2009 and i'm very much aware of how
irresponsible our govt can be by not showing commitment in the best of
ideas.
OKLNG is jointly owned by SHELL(19.50%), CHEVRON(19.50%), BG(14.25%) and
NNPC(40%) but BG pulled out coz of poor commitment from the FG and
there share was shared btw NNPC and Chevron(22.74%)....unfortunately,
Shell and Cheron pulled out in 2012 and 2013 respectively for same
reason and rendering many jobless in the process. I'm aware Dangote and
other locals biz mogul are coming in to save OKLNG...pray itz true.

Same
collabo. with brass and others.

Nigeria need serious prayer from bad leadership coz our suffering isnt
because of what we dont have but greed and selfishness.
That project was politically Motivated by OBJ,was never based on economic factor, just like Ajaokuta steel.
