raybobo:Sorry I've not visited in a while. Just saw your post |
Vicyace:. Thanks. I'm over it. seyewest:No problem..

Noted. Thanks |
esosa4real:Thanks for your input. I'm glad people on this thread are confirming same. My annoyance is she is so sure something is fishy. She talks like she called immigration officers all over Nigeria and stood with me during my renewal seeing them hand my passport over to me or she saw them seizing it for reasons best known to her. |
Tell me this is a joke. And same military is expected to fight international battles? This is unacceptable. |
esosa4real:Congrats |
seyewest:Those that confirmed theirs was retrieved too had something fishy right? I wonder who accepts an expired passport as a form of ID and how local flights will accept an expired passport when you have a valid one. You try to sound like you know so much but I have yet to be convinced. I would have taken it for a kind gesture if you had simply asked questions without directly accusing me. I had problems when you insisted I had something fishy when you are not an immigration staff. Even when I tried to explain and others confirmed, you went ahead to reaffirm your points.. And yes saying something is fishy is same as saying I'm a criminal. Please next time be objective in your response especially when you're not so sure. Be constructive in your criticism and Don't be quick to draw conclusions. Finally, the LagosNIV is not a passport officer so I wonder what you expected him to contribute to an issue like this. If you are bothered about losing your credibility, I'm not because Integrity is my watchword. Thanks for your time anyway, It is not my intention to have an argument. I only came here to get answers but it's unfortunate this is happening. |
Rett0:Thanks. Imagine you guys had not experienced same thing, I would have presented as a fraudster. I don't know why people can't give benefit of doubt when they don't have their facts right. It makes me begin to doubt Nigerians too. If such a small itch as visiting a Visa-free country can cause this drama, then Nigeria has got a long way to go. The part that hurts most was that my question was left unanswered and they were busy nailing a so-called criminal without information. |
kunlewoye:Infact NLs will almost make you feel like a fool that doesn't know what he is saying anymore. It wasn't just mine that was taken funny enough. Thank God yourself and someone else has confirmed this. So I leave those that think they know it all to keep doubting themselves. I'm not in for any arguments with anyone. That yours was returned doesn't mean others are liars. If I have the opportunity of visiting the passport office, I'll ask them why they retrieve passports from some persons and return that of others because I'm really shocked some people had theirs returned. Like I said earlier B1 visa is no visa to heaven so I'm not in any way desperate. I qualify for PR through skilled migration for both Canada and Australia if at all migration is my trouble. So let those that think everyone is a fraudster continue. |
getostar:Thanks for your kind response. I don't even have to act any or try to rhyme. I'm plain. I got everything as stated in my profile and the visa is not a do or die affair for me as I've got lots of things on my hands. Off to a busy day. Thanks once more |
It's quite annoying that someone asks a question and no one responds but everyone queries and accuses the person of something so irrelevant. 1) I don't need a visa to Benin or Togo 2) It won't take me more than 20k to get to Togo so why the doubts I started going to Togo even as a student. It hurts when people start talking about something fishy and all that over nothing but a visa free Togo.If my passport was seized will I be issued with a new one ![]() I could go ahead and tell the VO I have no travel experience and it won't change anything. I'm not desperate to get a US visa. I feel so disappointed because there is something called constructive criticism. If you must critize, attack the issue not the person. Attacking my credibility is uncalled for as not everyone is a fraudster. I expected answers but the response I get is that of a suspect. If you have meaningful answers to my post please fine if no one does, I will gladly walk out. Thanks |
penitential:Please can you guys provide answers to my other questions? I'm not the passport office and you could as well verify. |
seyewest:I just gave you valid answers to your questions. They do collect old passports. It's left for you to confirm. Till then, take my word. I don't intend proving anything more than I have said. If you can provide answers to my previous questions please do. Thanks |
seyewest:You don't need a visa to enter Ghana, Togo, or Benin. Thanks |
seyewest:No they didn't seize it. Don't always think something is fishy. They took it after renewal. They did same to everyone. They said I have a new passport and that the old one now belongs to the Government. Looks like a new rule to me you could confirm. I'm talking about immigration passport office and not POE |
Good day everyone. Big thanks to LagosNIV, ladyG and everyone that takes time to provide answers to puzzles on this platform. Please I intend to start up a fish farm some months from now as an alternative source of income so I got an invitation to attend a conference on fish culturing as the conference will be giving insights on modern techniques in fish culturing, how to startup, and there are also key workshops I'm interested in which will cover the major challenges in fish culturing. 1. This not related to my occupation as I work with a well known company as a professional and earn over #250k monthly but I want to do this for extra income. 2. I'm attending this conference as part of my annual leave and i have an official letter to this effect. 3. I have been working for over 5 years. 4. I am married with 3 kids. 5. I have previously traveled to Togo and Benin for business. 6. I have my hotel confirmation already. 7. I'm staying for 6 days. What do you guys think about my profile?? NB: I don't have intentions to immigrant and I intend to return to my family and job after my leave. |
O my God. My brother has over 500k in. I refused to join because I see it as a scheme for the greedy. I was not scared of losing out but I was scared of stealing out. I didn't want to be responsible for other people's failure if I succeeded in running away with other people's money before the crash. At least I'll share my bag of rice and the goat I bought from Buygoats with him for Xmas. ![]() |
goingape1:Is going through. I referred someone to her yesterday. It's 07055575224 |
goingape1:I'm serious. I thought it was a joke too. Lots of persons were there too. I was surprised to see someone of her status having a goat farm. I was impressed..... They killed, roasted and cut it. Most of the persons that came to buy were people of status. I promised her that I was going to tell others |
Good news for Nigerians. At least Buhari will not have an excuse any more. I bought goats from Buygoats and they were affordable and neat. You can reach them on 07055575224 if you are interested. They are close to Ajah. |
jreyez:Do not answer a fool according to his folly. The fool despises Wisdom. Fools are wise in their own eyes failing to take in wisdom and advice, which will be their downfall |
Jesus the lover of my soul. |
Nice one. The presence of God refreshes. |
jreyez:I understand you lack the ability to think through before talking. |
obidevine:You've got a very beautiful wife out there. She's got a wonderful face. As a man Love and Protect your wife. Never let people have an opinion when it comes to your beautiful wife. Be proud of her and flaunt her. That's what real men do. Most of the babies on NL spewing thrash do not know more than taking a out girl to KFC, choprite and tantalizer. HML. Wishing you God's blessings and favour. |
jreyez:You're a kid. People like you destroy people's home. |
BuyUrXmasGoat:How do you sell your goats? |
back2sender:Effective at Opressing the Innocent right? |
theshaderoom:But some People expect ND to die in the marriage called Nigeria. |
kinginvalhala4:Yes! You both are from the same State of Hopelessness. Both in State of Origin and State of Mind. You could as well go and drink 750ml of Sniper bd. Please adhere to prescription. |
[quote author=saintdennis post=46030283iols bro history is what shapes the world, history is why bakassi p was ceded to cameroun, history is why china is presently occupying tibet, history is why belgium left the netherlands, history is why the native indians of canada and u.s.a will never get their own country because they duly sold it to the u.s.a alson spain sold california etc alaska was sold to u>s.a by russia yes the binis have ancestral claims to parts of lagos island n environs and vast parts of ondo but the claim on delta is cast-iron... sorry but what is delta? is it an indigeneous word? I started going to Togo even as a student. It hurts when people start talking about something fishy and all that over nothing but a visa free Togo.
