Hello my blessed ppl, I trust that everyone is having a blast. please, I need your advice. Since two weeks, my ex. BF continues to send me messages on FB requesting that I should add him. I just ignore him. He said that he met my sister at the Ogidi Meeting in New York and she told him that I'm married. My sister added him on FB. We dated for 5yrs before I left him because he was not ready to settle down and was wasting my time. Ain't nobody got time for dat!! Thank you soo much for being brave enough to come out and share your light. It feels so good to hear from other ppl with similiar issue and learn how they deal with it through prayer and support. Being that I was not raised in Nigeria, I see things differently from DH. DH grew up and went to school in Nigeria, before leaving the country, so it bothers him more when he sees some of his friends on their second and third children. I love DH so much and I truly believe that marriage is more than having children. Knowing and serving God is priority in the success of every marriage and HE will direct your path. My prayer is for God to bless my family with children that will worship HIM with all their hearts and advance HIS kingdom. Children that will exalt, honor and glorify HIM.

AtandaAtiAdisa: Congrats to the newest mama's in the house pinky- pinky. My effort in icsi ended in a tragic form, after going thru the process of daily injection and evacuation of egg follicles, my hubby is diagnosed with Azospermia, nothing at all, three times of trying IVF, eight years of marriage. Divorce on my mind. God'll answer all our prayers.

I pray that the rest of this year will bring a friutful blessings in your marriage. Something new in your life. God is not a man that he should lie. HE has declared u blessed and fruitful.

from my own experience, after 3 Failed IVF with ICSI and 3 IUI, I can understand your pain of going through all the injections and ultrasound, but always remember that greater is HE that is in you than the problems you are facing. So refuse to look at the problems but look to GOD.

You are blessed my sister. The Lord who has strengthened you all these years will do great things in your life before the end of this year. My sister please please never let the word Divorce come into your mind for it will open door for the devil. Please when thoughts like this comes in your mind, use the word of God to counteract it and always remember the great things and the love you share with your DH.

enkaay: @faith2013, people think it's abominable to speak up and get help when they are dying to get help. A little information can be of help to anyone having the male infertility. The problem is that most men will not talk about it so it's left for the wives to do what they can to help their husbands. We had 2 icsi this year, one chemical, one bfn and if I knew what I know now, I wouldn't have been in a hurry. Fertilaid is good. DH took it and his count rose from 100,000 to 1.8mil within a month. Though they said it's takes 3 months but I know someone who took maca roots and it unbelievably went from 3mil to 120mil in 5 weeks.

wow!! that was a great improvement in just a month. My sister, it so true that men hardly open up about male infertility. Honestly this journey has straigthened our relationship with the help of God. My DH also takes additional maca supplement with fertilaid. We will obtain another SA in 3 weeks to see if there is any improvement, which there will be IJN.

We went to diff.hospital for solution. Alot of test was carried on him both test.icular scan and hormonal assay. Everything came out fine except culture dt indicated staph. We treated staph and it goes and comes back but yet no improvement on count. One faithful day i was browsing tru my phone book and i saw a homopathy doctor number dt treated me of painful mens.trat.tion during my sch days. I caled him and told him my dh issue. He gave us herbs for boosting and infection and equally instructed us on what to eat and what not to eat. He eats more of organic foods,fruits and veggies,cut off sugery and cold things completely. My sisters,this jorney is not easy but one thing i kn for sure is that God is too faithful to fail. @all...sory for my long post

My hubby just started taking fertilaid for men to see if his boys will increase and behave themselves.
My sister this journey is not easy, but with God's strength and mercy we will overcome.

How do you handle questions from your in-laws? I have been isolating myself from them to avoid any questions. ofcourse all eyes are on me. Our culture still look at infertility as a woman's fault.

Hmmm! I applied just a little faith and it worked. It happened naturally when I was least expecting it, when I have lost hope of starting the third ivf journey in August, just when I forgot about it. I remembered telling Uncle Inwangobio that I will come for the children's dedication in Abuja heavily pregnant. When I had to cancel the procedure in August cos we were not ready, I was worried that I wouldn't make it as planned. I didn't know that the Lord had a shocker for me. With the type of medical report hubby has, before men, it would be impossible but with God, He made everything possible at his right time. JUST BELIEVE AND APPLY THAT LITTLE FAITH. HE WILL DO IT FOR EVERYONE OF US ON THIS FORUM

It is so sad how these doctors and hospitals have turned fertility procedure into multi million dollars business. Even here in Canada and USA, it is out of pocket; no insurance covers fertility procedure.
It brings tears to me hearing how much IVF cost in Nigeria. I can understand that in Canada/USA insurance do cover some lab test and minor procedures such as hysterosalpingogram (HSG). To hear that nothing is covered in Nigeria is heart breaking after all the oil and mineral resources available. This is plain greed!!

I did my ICSI in 2010/2011 and got delivered of a baby girl towards end of the year. Yes, as at that time, we paid USD10,000 (N1.5m) excluding tests! they also use Indian doctors who come quarterly to supervise and perform all the procedures. Save a life is good but the owner like money well well and they are very expensive. The success rate is also high!

What!! IVF with ICSI is $10,000 in Nigeria? what a rip off. This is really sad. May God have mercy on poor individuals who cannot afford this procedure, but are in need of children.


Also, IVF success does not depend on the doctor, but GOD. Any infertility specialized doctor with good knowledge and experience can perform IVF. It does not matter if he or she is a Nigerian, Indian, Caucasian or Asian. Let's cut off this mentality of indian doctors being the best.

I work with a lot of indian doctors at my hospital in Western New York State that don't know jack.

Has anyone tried Fertilaid for men and women before. I have read a lot of good reviews on this product. Please, if you have tried it, share your result to help others. After spending $30,000 USA dollars on 3 failed IVF with ICSI cycles, we are done. We just want to try any effective natural vitamins and rest all to our Lord Jesus Christ.

I noticed in Europe mostly (Brno and Prague)they perform new procedure called PICSI with they claimed to be better for quality sperm selection.

IVF with ICSI is a gambling procedure for the doctors and embryologists cannot tell whether the egg or sperm selected are good quality with complete DNA.

Some studies show that one in every ten couple who underwent IVF get pregnant on first try after spending over 10,000 dollars. what a joke!!

Welcome. God is your strength. Sorry I don't know of any Clinic in Naija for I do not reside there. I just want to let you know that we also have male infertility issue and have been trying for more than 5years. We have done 2 failed IVF with Icsi, 1 failed FET and 4 failed IUI. Not to discourage you, but put your hope and faith in GOD while planning on IVF. God is the only one that can guarantee IVF success. all the best!! Baby dust!!
