American evangelist Billy Graham, a spiritual advisor to a dozen US presidents, has died at age 99, US media reported, citing family sources.

Tall and handsome, Graham, an ordained Southern Baptist minister, cut a charismatic figure as an evangelical preacher whose huge rallies found audiences on radio and television.

He preached to a long line of US presidents, from Harry Truman to Barack Obama, and was featured in the recent mini series “The Crown” as a spiritual adviser to the young Queen Elizabeth II.

GE created the Garages program in 2012 to reinvigorate America’s interest in invention, innovation, and manufacturing. In 2014, Garages went global with four weeks of intensive workshops at GE’s offices in Lagos, Nigeria, using the latest in advanced manufacturing technologies. 3D printers, CNC mills, and laser cutters.

In December 2016, GE Nigeria launched a permanent installation of the Lagos Garage, a hub for training, strategy development, advanced manufacturing-based innovation and collaboration.

So far, four cohorts of 95 entrepreneurs have gone through the program. During this period, several viable micro and small business enterprises have been birthed and are thriving as a result of training and support received during the Garage training program.

During this fifth iteration of the Garage program, participants will be trained in the latest advanced manufacturing technologies and techniques to enable innovation through rapid prototyping. They will also learn to apply the core principles of design thinking, product development, finance, marketing, sales, and customer acquisition in real-time to their ventures.

Finally, the Garage will also provide participants with unfettered access to an expanding network of dedicated mentors and alumni to support them in starting and scaling their companies, and in building a culture of collaboration and innovation to bring their most innovative ideas to life.

Yesterday marks the birthday of popular and comic Nollywood Actor Osita Iheme who is famously called Pawpaw. He hails from Mbaitoli in Imo state and was born on the 20th of February 1982. Join Gossip Mill Nigeria in wishing Pawpaw a fruitful birthday!!! � ����

The star actor who studied Computer Science at Lagos State University came into fame in 2003 after acting alongside his colleague Chinedu Ikedieze, in the comic movie ‘Aki na Ukwa‘.

Pawpaw has featured in over 100 movies since then and some of his movies include Sweet Money, American Husband, Two Rats, Brothers Apart, Baby Police, Am in Love, Stubborn flies, Tom and Jerry, among others.

Osita Iheme opened a multi million naira Hotel in Owerri two years ago. He is the founder of Inspired Movement Africa, a Movement set aside to inspire, motivate and stimulate the lives of young Nigerians and Africans. He also recently launched his own record label, ‘Young Boss‘ and has already signed two young promising artists to his label.

In 2007, he received the Lifetime Achievement Award from African Movies Award. He was also awarded the Nigeria National Honour of Member of the Federal Republic (MFR), President Goodluck Jonathan, in 2011.

The serial and notorious killer, Adeola Williams, alias Ade Lawyer, who was arrested by operatives of the Inspector-General of Police’ (IGP) Intelligence Response Team (IRT) - has been paraded at the Lagos state police command. Touted to be the most notorious assassin in the southwest region, Williams was arrested alongside his accomplice, Rafiu Olorunwa Akanni, aka Olorunwa, a former Lagos NURTW boss, who hired him.

The suspect, said to be responsible for the death of a member of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Ganiyu Ayinla, at Lagos Island on January 23, was arrested on Wednesday in Akure, Ondo State.

Following the death of Ayinla, a massive manhunt was launched and the IRT, led by ACP Abba Kyari, caught Williams in their dragnet.

According to the police, Ade Lawyer had been on its wanted list for over five years following his involvement in several assassinations in the South West.

Former NURTW boss, Rafiu Akanni alias Olorunwa, allegedly contracted the assassin to kill his rival, Azeez Lawal.

Police said Ade Lawyer confessed that he was paid N500,000 to execute the job. He, however, missed the target and killed Lawal’s personal assistant, Ayinla. Police said Lawal miraculously escaped the assassination attempt on him with bullet wounds.

He also mentioned many other victims he assassinated in the past which included Hamburger, a union chairman in Oshodi, Babajide Dosumu aka Mados in Ebute Meta, Salawe in Ajah, Ganiyu Asaro and four others in Badore where he said he spread bullets in their car and killed the five occupants.
