They do have their struggling times but not for foreigners who’s focus and hard working . Truly most Brazilians are lazy due to government support programs but as a foreigner remain focus and never divert from your dreams .

Staying back in Brazil shouldn’t be problem but what are you bringing to the table should be your concerned. If you got vocational training that’s a plus and you are good to go . Looking for a high paying job isn’t easy .

Area of accommodation depends on your kind of lifestyle and your wallet . But don’t forget something important this race now isn’t for us anymore it’s for the future of our kids . Make them no face the same struggle and stress we pass .

Truly you can change your visitor visa status by child birth , Brazil would grant the entire family present in the country at that particular moment resident permit for the sake of the new born baby .

But mostly I have seen family who usually seek for asylum a week after arrival so they could have working permit . Get your CFP from police federal and later after for working permit .

New update on where to apply for work permit/renewal work permit . they are about to move from the current office and there new office is unknown . Latest update on where to apply for your work permit/renewal work permit would be posted soon .

when that child is born, they have to regulate their visa situation from tourist to legal guardian of a Brazilian citizen, thus they apply for the residency (through that child) and their status changes from tourist to temporary resident. Unless they apply for that temporary residency, and later get a resident permit (aka RNE), they can't work in brazil or apply for Brazil's passport..

I repeat...you cannot get a RNE/Brazilian passport and still be on a tourist visa. Impossible.

You are right , RNE are for asylum seekers .
No 1year visa extension except you declare asylum .

I think you have to let people know that you are talking about people who claim to be REFUGEES

If you are a tourist in Brazil, then that's what you are. If you go to the policia federal to extend your visa then you have to show proof of financial situation (aka how you will live in Brazil as a tourist) in order to extend your TOURIST VISA. for 3 months. You will never get a 1yr tourist visa extension, EVER.

You will NEVER get a working visa just by walking in the policia federal, you need a contract from a reputable company that would sponsor your working visa....and sadly, with just a tourist visa, you cannot work in Brazil.



You cannot get a carteira de trabalho with a tourist visa, the above information is for refugees.... Pls be clear on that. Now if you actually have a normal working visa then you will get what is called CEDULA DE IDENTIDADE DE ESTRANGEIRO or Commonly called a RNE # with which you can open an account in ANY bank in Brazil ..... Banco do Brasil etc

Only with this RNE # can you get a carteira de trabalho and pay taxes in Brasil... Unless you are a refugee.
