Misterone: this one will be talking about diversification later and speaking from both side of the mouth. What did we diversify by closing the borders? What did we gain? If capital flight is wrong when it comes to Benin, Togo and Ghanaian products but OK when it comes to oil from Niger and selling Dangote's products? |

NGpatriot: The news we read and hear in Nigeria are mostly fluffs, duds, worthless and absolutely vacuous. We have too many attention seeking people all over our landscape from pastors leaving their pastoral duties to shout and peddle false prophecies and political rubbish to activist hustlers, jobless opposition and so on, they just open mouth to fill their airspace with needless and pointless rants.
We;ve been importing petrol for decades till the day before the news about importing petrol from Niger broke, these noise makers had no issue with Nigeria importing petrol from abroad, but all of a sudden they have issues with importing from across the border which is actually cheap and a better deal.
What is the difference? Is it because we are importing from a black African country instead from Oyinbo country?
Nigerians are so physically and mentally unruly and I honestly think many Nigerians need psychiatric evaluation. We have been importing rice for decades but because Buhari wanted to continue where he left off in 1984 he closed the borders and started selling bullshit about local rice production, greater IGR and cheaper products that never happened. Buhari is simply a hypocrite serving his own agenda. |

mfm04622: 1. Nigeria imports PMS. That is a given fact. 2. What dies it matter where we import from? Why the noise when we are to import from Niger? What is the difference from importing through seaports and importing from Niger? I need someone to explain this as I don't understand it at all The same goat that said importing from Benin Republic rice is holding the country to ransome and closed the border like he did in 1984. |

ednut1: We are an importing nation. It is cheaper to import from Niger than to drive petrol truck from apapa to the north tho. So why we con dey cry. But when it comes to rice and cars from Benin Republic and textiles from Ghana importation is bad and we need to close the borders. |

RuudVanNisteroy: I believe the Soraz Refinery in Niger Republic is owned by a Nigerian. One day we will find out the truth regarding this deal, how people are using their positions to simply enrich themselves at the expense of the nation. Yet some people will open their mouth to say Buhari is against corruption after Gandollar and Orji Kalu. |

Golan007: You are talking about yourself.
Name where you've been, let's compare notes.
Continue acting like savages and you would continue to live as such. Ordinary Chicago that's not even seen as an amazing American city not once did the lights go out. Bolton that isn't even a city the lights didn't go out, everywhere was clean. These places that the residents call unremarkable is what we are praising the Lekkis and VGCs and GRAs for. Unsurprisingly the GRAs have regular power because the government only cares about themselves and sees the citizens as useless tools. Continue to vote in and defend senile hypocritical donkeys with no plan for the country because they are APC and you will continue to see next level in all sectors. |

marsman: Are we even meant to be buying generators? We but Generators because we don't have electricity, in the process we waste the little money we have on fuel, while paying the huge monthly bill of the iBEdc company who supposedly gave us electricity for 24/7 in a day. Isn't that the wicked condition our politicians have put us in? We pay for light but the light doesn't come and if you want to run your business, keep your food edible or even keep patients in hospitals alive you need electricity. Some local governments haven't had power for months some only see light once a week. If light was regular would anyone own a generator? It's only GRAs that seem to be treated as human beings. |

Golan007: Assist you do what?
You are unproductive because you cannot adapt to the challenges of the world in which you find yourself.
You have no electricity but 15 flats would have 15 generators in one compound.
You cannot produce food to the volume of internal consumption talkless of export.
When you make little money, usually from criminal enterprise in any case, the first idea is to build a hotel or gas station.
Continue wailing.
God would come down to help Nigeria. Fool does not even understand why people buy generators in the first place, is it the ordinary citizens who are already finding it hard to survive that you want to solve Nigeria's power problems or the representatives in government who keep budgeting billions yet go nowhere. I don't blame you sha you haven't seen better thing before. |

jaxxy: Even if the massacre was fake news it wud still be a huge mistake and disgrace because people were attacked for no reason by soldiers in a democratic dispensation simply for protesting and in a very peaceful manner which left many of them with gunshot wounds.
Now congratulate urself that nobody died.
We will find the bodies and if really there were no bodies let LCC give us the real master tapes not the tampered fake ones. See the problem is that people like her don't care that people died, at all. They have put more energy into disenfranchisement of victims than showing their purported patriotism because if you don't support the APC you aren't a Nigerian.
