PoliticsRe: Smuggling: Customs Seizes 15 Trucks Loaded With Food Items In Sokoto by FarmPlanetNG: 8:23am On Feb 19, 2024

Trust me, this has nothing to do with religious or ethnic sentiment. It is simple economics. Our weak currency necessarily encourages exports even to neighboring countries. CFA is stronger than naira.

The government is the real culprit.
Who funds their farming oga ?

What do you expect when your own currency is getting weaker by the day. Anybody who knows a little bit of economics would tell you that devaluation of a currency makes it more profitable to sell locally produced goods and services to foreigners. Simple!
Nigerians would prefer to sell our local products to America and Europe and Asia in order to get more dollars. Unfortunately, we do not have the local products which these countries would desire(apart from crude oil).
So the only option is for small countries like Niger Republic, Chad, etc to mop up our agricultural produce, leading to more hunger in Nigeria.
May God help us oooo!
Who funds their farming ?

Shedrack777:
that not the point. They smuggle it because naira has no value, and they trade it in cefa which yields more gain than selling it here in naija. The government can avert this only if they make the naira valuable (like $1 to N300)
Who funds the project?

Why are you like this? Is ignorance or just being uniformed. I told something about securities earlier, yet you did not learn.
Dangote”s companies are backed by the Security and exchange commission. He can seeks for investors.
Here we go again. Since you are just starting, and backed by nothing, why not use the document of the 40 acres of land as security for prospective investors.
That is only when we will take you serious.
My business is my business to mind. Mind your own business.

You see! They say patience is a virtue but it seems you lack that that virtue, that is cardinal towards prosperity.
Since you make 1.5 monthly, why not wait till end of the month to use your own money?
How is that hard to do? Instead your eyes are im another person’s pocket.
Aproko man. Tell that to Dangote who is $17 B rich and still wants to list the refinery on the stock market, busy body, woman man

You are a nuisance and a bastard. Did I ever ask you for a dime you lowlife stupid eediot. If I seek investors, is my business any of your business ? Since Elon musk, Zuckerberg, Dangote has money, go and make publications that they are theirs seeking investors. Nuisamce

I’ve told you what to do to raise #1M of your 40 acres of land .
If you like, ignore it.
Oga, eat your money. Is it by force? I said I want nothing to do with you even a gift. Carry your slander and image smearing elsewhere. My business is none of your business

You have no business
You have no investment
If you do, 1M would not be an issue. Even if you sprinkle corn seeds on 40 acre of land without doing anything else ( no weeding, no fertilizer no pruning) , you can make than 1M from the harvest at the maturity.
Argue with your keyboard.
Look at a man behaving like a busy body. If I have no business, how is it your business? You failure ! Focus on your life and you won't have time for gossips and evil slander, you willing tool of the devil

AgricultureRe: See The Oranges I Bought For N600 In Benue by FarmPlanetNG: 7:27pm On Feb 18, 2024
Aquariann:
Bought this half bag of oranges for N600 (Six hundred Naira not 6k) somewhere in Benue State. The orange seller by my estate gate here in Lagos sells 3 or 4 oranges for N100 depending on their size.

Annoying part is some of the sellers won't sell theirs by the end of the day.

While farmers are producing, not much is being done for further processing of these agricultural products which end up wasting.

Also, Bag of Garri N2200
15 Tubers of yam N3000
See prices. How time flies

Mind your business. Mehnind their businesses. My business is not your business. Leave my business alone, focus on yours.

North and hypocrisy. You engage in agricultural projects with the country's finances, then out of sentiments send it to Niger Republic that they are more next of kin than Southern Nigerian, yet you all wanted to die for same religion ticket. The hypocrisy in the north stinks to hell. Since you hate the southerners so badly, please call for referendum so you can go attach to your Niger Republic in peace

Don’t bring you “investment “ to a public forum if the only thing you can offer as security is clouded , except money enters your hand.
You can’t even get my money.
Get lost busy body. Have I told you my project details to know I have to investment securities. Busy body. Focus on the log of wood in your eyes and leave the speck in mind alone. Hypocrite

Ok you are asking the Op to give you her money, what collateral do you have ? Or it should be based on only promises of future returns.
Why not give Op the document of the land to hold and then she can give the money.

I am even ready to give any amount based on the valuation of the land. Since you have sense!
Oga. Please I don't want your money. I posted.my.projects for willing Investors. When I have willing investors,I will tell them what I have to offer as guarantee for invested funds. Keep your money and keep out of my business pls

You are still very new. In the 80s when I did farming, it was trucks that we used to carry fertilizer. Nothing you do now that someone has never done.
But to ask someone looking for help to hand you their hard earned money
You can see the behavior of our fellow countrymen. I have so far been putting all my hard earned.income to these projects as part of my contribution to societal development. I try to find more help and you call me evil and wicked. May God forgive you. Nigerians and the habit of always looking for faults to criticize and condemn. What's my business with when you started.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: I'm Willing To Borrow Someone 300k As Long As You Get Me Legal Assurance by FarmPlanetNG: 5:36pm On Feb 18, 2024
Centurion101:
So Long story Short I've got like 300-350k excess more than I currently have budgeted to keep me going for this year.
I'm a kind of person that will just blow this money on useless things like pills and booze if it's still in my account, unless I actually get something valuable, Money is not easy to make and I will hate wasting this money on crap and that is exactly what is going to happen in a month or two if the money is still with me, I've tried buying phones or laptops but I have two of those already and it really doesn't make any sense. I'm not really into fashion so clothing is not an option.
So I thought well Maybe if I could borrow someone and the person returns it like 2 years after then the money would still be untouched then and I wouldn't have wasted it on crap.
You must have legal backing though so I know who to arrest if I don't get my money back, I'm interested in only one person and the amount is 300k, you're going to pay 5% more to me, so you're going to return 315k to me in a year or two. I think that's more than fair
I propose a business partnership between us.

I am developing a 40 acres cultivation process. I need that 1 M to buy dried chicken manure for this project. If you I vest it with me, I will start repaying you from the 4th month, we will structure the repayment of the capital and interest to be paid monthly starting from the 4th month.
