Family › Re: Is Abijo, Palmsbay Estate, Ajah, Lagos A Good Place To Live by FarmPlanetNG: 6:45pm On Feb 17, 2024 |
Cutezt: I hope you know abijo GRA is massive? It's one of the biggest and deepest areas around Ajah axis. The issue of backwardness is for those who stay deep inside GRA, there are many wonderful estates with very rich and wealthy people at GRA. I hope you know that the estate where dangote refinery workers stay is in the same Abijo GRA?
Go to areas around the catholic church and all, there are countless wealthy and enlightened people there, I personally have many friends doing very well with their own personal houses in estates there, so the issue of being backward is limited to those living in the deep parts.
The only truth is the light problems. Getting bike even at midnight is not an issue. I have gotten a bike from the bus stop around 1am when we wanted to surprise a friend in his birthday, and there were many bikes there by that time.
About the cultism, no area suffers that issue like badore/okeira/langbasa in the whole Ajah axis.
Cc light2023 Abijo GRA is one of the worst places to ever live in I stayed there for years so I know |

Light2023: I’m interested at a newly built flat at Seaside Estate Badore but the other commenter said badore is hq of cultists and robberies, how true is that? I stayed in SeaSide estate for close to a decade. My family had a building there. The issue of cultistism isnt true, that issue is most.times.limited to Ajah bus stop and it once in a very long while. If you would choose seasode estate, do not go beyond OMO ONILE bus stop inside because of ease to go in and out of the estate in the event of you needing to take a walk. Seaside almost has steady power supply. You will be satisfied with the quality of friendships/people you will make there |

Light2023: What about Badore? How good is it compared to the ones you have mentioned I stayed in Badore for years. I dont know much about the holdup issue. But after Ajiwe, where you have the police station all the way to Shop Rite, you have many estates to the left and right. These areas are all okay. Unless you want to go in deeper to areas like Awoyaya Do not go to Abijo GRA o. Do not take the comment above seriously. There is extreme spiritual backwardness and lack of progress casted on that entire environment o. People there basically just live in tatters, an area without more than 5-10 times of light in an entire year for over five years isnt a good area. Plus the difficulty in getting bike inside everytime asids from the cost. |

No. Do not. Light problems. Extreme light problems. Extreme Holdup. The people in the environs arent of high quality
If you can, go closer to Majek area, LBS, Sangotedo, Abraham Adesanya, or even Shoprite area to get a house
People in the area do not progress too easily. Like the area is jinxed. Note, ot used to be the epicenter of idol festivity |

nurey: Stop arguing with me, I have not seen one single fulani issue in areas I dwell in Ondo and Ogun. I am not saying some areas aren't prone, but those that aren't, the youths are not ready to farm Thank you. I have been saying the same thing even on this forum but I am always stunned because I keep saying this. Someone wanted to invest in my agricultural projects, but later turned down his mind that Fulani this and that. People sit down at home and form all sorts of things based on what media tells them. I have been in the hinterlands this is my right year, I interact with Fulani almost on a weekly basis and yet no violence, but media has ruined how people view the hinterlands and rural settlements |

CilicMarin: You mean, we should go back to round tripping? Feeding our scarce resources to few businesses and political oligarchies, why other critical areas of governance continue to suffer?
The truth remains that Nigeria doesn't have the resources to continue to defend the naira. Nigeria isnt the only country in the world.pegging its currency Nigeria ia rich enough to oeg her currency There is nothing like oligarchs, structure the pegging even feul subsidy and with structured accountability, there wont be massove abuse I asked you a question, how much do you think Nigeria saves per month and then tell me if it is inadequate to cater for the currency pegging that ensures price stability |
Politics › Re: There Is Deliberate Attack On The Naira ???? by FarmPlanetNG: 8:49am On Feb 15, 2024 |
CilicMarin: Put the peg back you say?
By borrowing hard currencies to defend the naira like the last administration?
Use our scarce foreign exchange to defend it?
The truth there is no money anywhere to continue to defend the naira. It will naturally stabilise when the saboteurs realised that inflation also gulps whatever profit they make by hoarding dollars...And also whenever the power sector is revamped and Nigerians start local production of the current imported goods.. .calm yourself down. The markets is in thrmoil across all sectors. Production doesnt overnight. There has to be a national policy to drive production over a ten years period and dyring that duration, out currency would and should be pegged. And as we begin to massively boos production and earn foreign earnings, we take away the peg. Please all the trillions saced from feul subsidy removal, cant some of it be used for pegging as was done before now? Nigeria earns well enough to ensure currency stability |
Politics › Re: There Is Deliberate Attack On The Naira ???? by FarmPlanetNG: 8:46am On Feb 15, 2024 |
KnowAll: Then put the peg back then. It is obvious d so called free market is not working. Would the president listen. We have been crying that the moneues gained from subsidy removal can retain the peg very well and at far cheaper cost than previous years, yet the president discredits the opinions of others, assuming the stature of a demigod. The countrys collapse is imminent as the currency collapse equates the countrys collapse. I earn in pounds on a weekly basis, but seeing the rates our currency is devalued on a weekly makes it look sickening to me. |

KnowAll: All the countries around us in west Africa their currency are not running away. So why is the Naira fallen every single day despite all CBN has done to stop it.
There is a deliberate attack on d Naira to bring down d government. Its the citizenry's desire to always have fat exchange value that is killing it. The president didnt know the implications of removing the currency exchange peg. I am sure he is learning the hard way now. We warned against total removal of the peg but we were shunned. |

The downside of the shared apartment is that some information in your life becomes public and you wont have the total privacy you should have which outs you at some form of soft risk. Should incase the other party wants to sabotage you in future, the information he has about you becomes weaponzised. Find another apartment close to work and stay alone.
