Politics / *new Year Strategies To Avoid Unnecessary Pressure In 2022* by Farnesyl1989: 6:38pm On Dec 31, 2021
*NEW YEAR STRATEGIES TO AVOID UNNECESSARY PRESSURE IN 2022*

1. Put your kids in
schools you can afford
because expensive
schools don't
guarantee good
results. Just ensure
they attend a good
affordable school

2. Rent apartments you
can pay for
conveniently. Don’t live
in a house you struggle
to pay yearly.

3. Let’s plan our lives and
live within our means.
Save more and spend
less.

4. Some women buy food
for their children every
morning before going
to school or even for
the whole family, do
you know it’s cheaper
to cook at home?

5. Some people don’t
earn much, but have
DSTV at home, go for
GOTV and upgrade
when your income
upgrades. It’s still the
same CNN anyway!

6. Eat healthy meals and
protect your family
from mosquitoes to
avoid going to the
hospital always.

7. Take advantage of
food and fruits in
season, its cheaper
and you can be
creative to create
amazing meals.

8.Don’t copy your
neighbor’s lifestyle,
she earns well and her
husband is a ‘big
man’

9. Don’t follow trends,
wear clean well-
ironed clothes and
keep your hair neat.
You would still look
good.

10. Keep your circle
small, keep only
friends that have
senses!

11. Above all things, have
the fear of God, have
integrity, don’t be lazy
and be prayerful.

12. Planning is the key, if
you fail to plan, you
plan to FAIL.

13. Don't do more than
your budget this
Time, ther e is no
award given to best
family that wore an
expensive cloth for
the year

14.Don't be in
competition with
anyone...
The purpose of shoes
and clothes are to
make us smart and
good.

Thanks for reading and have a wonderful and blessed New year ahead.

Lots of N-Power Batch C applicants have been making the error of saying that there will not be physical verification, please I repeat although some processes have changed from the previous process used in engaging N-Power Batch A and B, but the template still remains the same.

Please there will be phyiscal verification of Npower Batch C applicants, anyone telling you that there will be no physical verification the person might just be decieving you, it is not done anywhere, engaging an applicant without physically verifying the applicant.

Currently as we speak some N-Power Batch C applicants are beginning to see their physical verification details and address on the N-Power NASIMS portal.

Please note every documentation process requires you to take all your documents uploaded on the N-Power NASIMS portal, original and photocopies plus passport picture, after the N-Power physical verification and the N-Power Batch C applicants is successfully verified, then the N-Power Batch C applicant will proceed to his or her PPA with your deployment letter, it is at your PPA or at the local District whichever the case maybe that you will be given either acceptance or rejection form, all forms must be duly endorsed by the assigned authorised personnel on site, after endorsement the N-Power Batch C applicants is to resume on or before the third day of receiving his or her engagement letter.[/quote]

Thanks for the info.. that is the standard practice...

Religion / A Must Read Article: I Am Angry Tonight By Evang Francis Akinnola... July 2017 by Farnesyl1989: 6:19am On Dec 10, 2017
A MUST READ ARTICLE: I AM ANGRY TONIGHT
Am angry tonight! Am angry against the pulpit ministers that have perverted the GOSPEL OF CHRIST. I'm angry with 'redeem' ministers! I'm angry with 'winners' ministers! I'm angry with all the OTHER ministers and 'ministries' whose pastors have COMMERCIALISED the gospel! I'm ANGRY with those who peddle "24-hour" 'miracles.' I'm ANGRY with those who ask you to "sow" before God can do something for you! I'm angry with those who for twenty-five years now, have taken the true gospel away from Nigerian pulpits and have replaced it with greed-for-money gospel! I'm angry with those who mount the pulpit every Sunday with nothing to say other than money-siphoning gimmicks to 'slay' the sheep and milk them dry!
I'm angry with those WHO PREACH LAW! I'm ANGRY with those who say we must KEEP our salvation with good works! May God punish you! I'm particularly angry with the Redeemed Christian Church of God tonight! Mehn? those guys have really sold LIES to christendom in this COUNTRY! I'm ANGRY with E. A. Adeboye tonight! That guy needs a millstone tied around his neck and to be DROWNED IN THE DEPTH OF THE SEA!
I'm angry with my friend, David Oyedepo, tonight! That guy is responsible for derailing the FAITH MOVEMENT in this country in 1992, apart from Adeboye's emissaries who really cut down the tree of that movement! I'm angry with Wale Oke for having been a 'willing accomplice' in the desecrating of the Gospel in this country - the same Gospel that he has previously laboured so much to PREACH in this country;
I'm angry with my friend, Remi Adejumo, and his wife, Funke Felix-Adejumo for having done so much havoc to the gospel in this country; - the same gospel that Remi has so much laboured for! I'm ANGRY with every one of you, who have promoted WITCHCRAFT and MANIPULATION from the pulpit! If you don't repent, JUDGMENT IS COMING!
I'm angry with you, Matthew Ashimolowo! - I saw that video in which you were asking people to come and give N1,000 or 1,000 USD for EACH year of the number of YEARS OF THEIR AGE! Matthew, how did you FALL SO MUCH? You used to BE BEAUTIFUL! As a pastor in the Foursquare Gospel Church, back then, you made the rest of us in the BODY OF CHRIST so PROUD OF YOU! You did your work so DILIGENTLY, preaching the TRUTH of the Gospel of Salvation; with this truth, you built the largest Foursquare Congregation in all of EUROPE! Later you started KICC, and we were so so PROUD of you, brother! But now you've joined the MERCHANTS, bá? You needed to have seen yourself in that video I mentioned! You looked PITIFULLY UGLY! Not so much in the physical sense of it, but SPIRITUALLY, ETERNALLY! You looked like someone UPON WHOM ANOTHER SPIRIT HAS COME! And, indeed, ANOTHER SPIRIT came on YOU in that meeting! Although you may not know it!
I'm ANGRY with you, all of you that make merchandise of God’s PEOPLE! A number of YOU started well, but now how MUCH YOU HAVE FALLEN! I did NOT say you're no longer saved! BUT YOU'VE FALLEN! ASHIMOLOWO, you've FALLEN;! ADEBOYE, I don't even know how to CATEGORIZE you! You're the GREATEST DISSERVICE to the Cause of God’s Kingdom in this country! Unfortunately, the people that have been mesmerized by you, all across this country - high and LOW alike, do not know this! THEY WORSHIP YOU! They're NOT WORSHIPING GOD! God will ask for of this! REPENT!
To all those in this country, who, UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF THE REDEEMED CHRISTIAN CHURCH OF GOD, has specialised in "God will send you to America this year," instead of preaching THE CROSS AND THE RESURRECTION, I say, Woe UNTO YOU! Repent or face your ORDEAL AT THE JUDGMENT SEAT OF CHRIST!
David Oyedepo! I'm BEGGING YOU! Please come back to the LORD that you once Loved! Don't get me wrong! I did not say that you're no longer saved! But, PLEASE, my dear, COME BACK to that Jesus that you once loved! This foul dance in the MARKET PLACE has lasted for too long! You're all about money now! You only "add" the name of Jesus to it to give an APPEARANCE of the gospel! But you should know you're NOT BEING REAL! We're TIRED of the drama! Please come back!
I'm SO OVERWHELMED TONIGHT, I don't know how to continue! I'm really WEEPING NOW! My generation of MINISTERS have led the Church in this country ASTRAY! And how are we ever going to CORRECT THE DAMAGE WE'VE DONE? The younger ministers (those who are NOW in their FOURTIES and FIFTIES, or close to that) have so much copied us they're even WORSE THAN US! Yes, I as a person may NOT have been a part of this mess, (and that's the reason many of YOU look down on me and despise me), but there's something called "COLLECTIVE RESPONSIBILITY." My Generation did it! So I'm a part of it! I repent on your behalf, but what will my repentance do, without your own?
Now God is using the MUCH YOUNGER ONES to chastise us (those the age of our very children) and yet you still can't see God at work!
I WARN YOU TODAY! Cleanse this MESS that you've caused! Otherwise, get SWEPT OFF when God begins to use others to CLEANSE IT!
I've said ENOUGH FOR NOW!

Politics / Breaking: Boko Haram Members Denounce Membership Of Sect by Farnesyl1989: 12:46am On Aug 08, 2015
Eight members of the terror group, Boko Haram, have denounced their membership of the sect, in a town around Mussa in Askira/Uba Local Government Area of Borno State, the Chairman of the youth vigilance group in the town, Apagu Istifanus, told journalists on Friday.

According to him, the eight claimed they are tired of killing innocent persons.

Istifanus, who spoke with journalists on the telephone, said the eight were arrested in Mussa and after interrogations, they confessed their membership of the sect and stated their readiness to renounce their membership and rejoin their families.

He said, “We arrested eight Boko Haram members in Mussa around 4pm on Thursday and when we interrogated them, they said they were tired, they did not want to wage Jihad again and we handed them over to the military in Mubi, Adamawa State.”

He revealed that six out of the arrested members of the sect were from Gwoza town‎, the headquarters of Gwoza Local Government Area.

Another member of the youth vigilance group from the area, who spoke on condition of anonymity to journalists, said the eight were nabbed at a remote village of Mussa in Askira-Uba LGA in the southern part of Borno State.

Meanwhile, residents of Miringa town of Biu LGA of the state have decried the locking down of the town by the military authorities for about six days.

They lamented that they had been made to go hungry as they were made to go without food, water and other basic necessities of life.

A resident of the town, Idris Musa, told journalists on the telephone that they were locked up in their homes since last Saturday, without prior notice and not allowed to replenish basic necessities.

Musa adeed, “We were locked up since last Saturday without food, water and other essential needs of life. It was only on Wednesday they gave us time to go out from 8am to 12noon and today, Friday, they allowed us to go for Friday prayers.”

Politics / Senate Presidency-saraki/dogara Risk Suspension/expulsion by Farnesyl1989: 2:12am On Jun 11, 2015
Saraki, Dogara risk suspension, expulsion

The PUNCH however learnt in Abuja on Wednesday that Saraki and Dogara risked suspension or outright expulsion for disregarding the APC directive not to stand for the elections.

An APC leader, who confided in one of our correspondents, said the party was considering applying Article 9.1, Sub-Section 2 of its constitution, against all its members involved in the exercise.

The sub-section deals with the Rules and Obligations of members to the party.

It reads, “(2) Members of the party shall be obliged to affirm the party’s aims and objectives and conduct themselves in a manner that shall not bring the party to public odium and disrepute.

“Members of the party shall also observe the rules and regulations embedded in this.”

A breach of this sub-section or other provision could lead to punishments ranging from reprimand, censure, fine, debarment from holding party office, suspension or expulsion.

The party leader said it would not be out of place for the APC to set up a disciplinary committee to try Saraki, Dogara and others for their actions.

He said, “There is no organisation which can survive without discipline; we cannot tolerate a situation where party members defy the party without consequences.

“This assault on the party’s cohesion has to be met with dire consequences if not, it will mark the beginning of a revolt whose end no one can predict.

“What is even more painful about the whole National Assembly thing is the fact that these individuals went as far as sleeping with the enemy in their desperation for power. The party must remain supreme. If not, anarchy will become the norm.”

He however said that for now, the APC was not keen on taking the matter to court.

The party leader added, “If you look at the list of offences stipulated in our constitution, you will see that anti-party activities or any conduct likely to embarrass of have adverse effect on the party or bring the party into hatred, contempt, ridicule or disrepute; disobedience or negligence in carrying out lawful directives of the party all constitute a violation and attract sanctions.”

Attempts to reach the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Lai Mohammed, were unsuccessful as calls to his mobile telephone were neither picked nor returned.

A response to text message sent to him on the subject was still being awaited as of press time on Wednesday.

Politics / Buhari Shouldn't Recognize Saraki-prof Sagay by Farnesyl1989: 1:40am On Jun 10, 2015
A constitutional lawyer, Prof. Itse Sagay, says President Muhammadu Buhari should not recognise the newly-elected Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki, because of the manner in which he emerged.

Sagay, who is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, said this during a telephone interview with our correspondent on Tuesday.

He said it was immoral for Saraki, who is a member of the All Progressives Congress, to collude with members of the Peoples Democratic Party and hold an election in the absence of over 50 APC senators.

He said Nigerians had hoped that with the exit of the PDP-led Federal Government, impunity would become a thing of the past. He said it was unfortunate that Saraki had brought impunity into the APC.

He said, “The bulk of the APC senators were having a meeting with the President and in their absence, PDP senators and Senator Saraki’s supporters in the APC went to the chambers and started the proceedings and nominated Saraki unopposed as President of the Senate.

“In my view, it is not only an act of gross impunity which Senator Saraki has brought from the PDP but he has now demonstrated it in the Senate. It is an illegal act because there is no way a Senate can be formally inaugurated without all the members being present – provided they want to be present.

“They knew that the bulk of the APC senators were not there and the APC senators intended to participate in the election. For Saraki and other PDP senators to have gone ahead to do that election in their absence was an act of illegality and criminality.

“It was an attempted coup in the first arm of government in Nigeria and it is a very serious assault on democracy in this country and if I was the President, I would refuse to recognise the result of such an illegal exercise and insist that a proper Senate is convened to elect its officials.”

However, a former President of the Nigerian Bar Association, Dr. Olisa Agbakoba, said there was nothing illegal about Saraki’s election.

Agbakoba told our correspondent during an interview that the APC did not complain when the immediate past Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal, defected to the APC from the PDP and refused to relinquish his position.

Agbakoba, who is also a senior advocate, said the law did not require every member of the Senate to be present in the chamber when electing principal officers.

He said all that was needed for an election to take place was a simple majority of the senators and this condition was met.

He said, “The election of principal officers in the National Assembly should not be confused with a political process. This is different from the American system which says that the ruling party must produce the key officers.” http

Nobody would find fault with this.Majority of the members were present and they in a free/transparent manner said they prefer Dogara and this Lasun. Its how the game of numbers go.Besides they are both APC.
But for one man who thinks he is smart to have just over half of d senate, with majority of his own party members being absent, and have himself get elected with support of mainly d opposition party members, even allowing an absurd situation where a deputy and "majority leader" emerges from the minority party,I don't expect him to be sleeping well from now on,because he would not find peace until a proper election is conducted after he gets served in his own coin.
Dogara/Lasun congrats.

1 Corinthians 10:31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

1 Thessalonians 5:22 Abstain from all appearance of evil. (MAY NOT BE EVIL e.g. plugged pressing iron that is dead cold, but is suddenly moved towards you. YOU SHOULD RUN BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT SURE)

Romans 14:16 Let not then your good be evil spoken of: DON'T GIVE OTHERS WRONG IMPRESSION EVEN WHEN YOU ARE DOING GOOD

Politics / Breaking News: INEC Card Readers Expose Electoral Fraud In Akwa-ibom by Farnesyl1989: 10:50pm On Apr 21, 2015
A DAILY POST investigation has revealed a serious electoral manipulation in Akwa Ibom State, where the overall result figures surpass the total number of accredited voters.

It would be recalled that the Akwa Ibom State INEC Returning Officer, Prof. James Ekpoke, had declared Udom Emmanuel of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, winner of the April 11 governorship election in the state. Udom was said to have polled 996, 017 votes to defeat Umana Umana of the All Progressives Congress, APC, who polled 89,865 votes, while the LP and Accord Parties polled 86,000 and 10,000 votes respectively.

With the said result, the total number of votes cast in the state stand at 1,182,534. However, the number of accredited voters for the election was originally 647,215. This figure has consequently put to question the outcome of the state governorship election, which many have alleged was marred by irregularities and violence.

DAILY POST also gathered from a source, who prefers to remain anonymous, that the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Godswill Akpabio and the State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Mr. Austin Okojie, are currently in serious dilemma on the best way to address what has been termed an embarrassing fallout from the results of the governorship election.

A copy of the Summary of Accredited Voters which was forwarded to the INEC headquarters, and obtained by DAILY POST through the same source has revealed an obvious rigging as the total number of votes couldn’t be reconciled with the number of accredited voters. This, however, is contrary to the copy of the summary of the controversial result which the State INEC Returning Officer, Prof. James Epoke used in declaring the results of the election. The figure in his own result showed that the total number of registered voters was 1,548,531 while 1,158,624 were given as the total number of accredited voters.

Our source, has however obtained from INEC, an original document revealing the total number of accredited voters as captured by the Electronic Card Readers, stating that there have been several questions arising from what he described as the alarming discrepancies in the results declared in Akwa Ibom State. An INEC staff, who sent the document to our source, revealed that the State governor and the INEC Commissioner in the state have been confronted by the INEC authorities over the perceived irregularity in the Akwa Ibom governorship election.

He told our source thus: “To be very honest with you, the PDP in Akwa Ibom and our Oga who is the REC there did not do their homework well. And unless they look for a way to block the alarming loopholes, they would end up dragging their names in the mud. As a Resident Electoral Commissioner, you saw that the Chairman of the commission, Prof Attahiru Jega had, just in one glance during the declaration of the presidential election, spotted discrepancies in the result coming from this same Akwa Ibom State, where you presided over as REC, and had told the Returning Officer to go back and sort it out; yet, you didn’t learn.

‘’What would it have cost you to relax, call all the parties you had worked with to declare this controversial result and then work all through the night to ensure that you allocate the figures perfectly in such a way that the total number of accredited voters as captured and presented by the card readers correspond with the results you declared?. Right now, even if you were to tell it to my 3-year-old daughter, how would you go about explaining to her that almost the same margin the President used in winning the election in Akwa Ibom State is the same one the PDP governorship candidate used in defeating the closest contender?

‘’Where is the room for the decline in the number of votes due to outbreak of violence that reportedly marred the voting process in the state? Or would you say that people will still stay back to vote after gunshots have been fired and people scampered away for safety? How about voters’ apathy that was http://dailypost.ng/2015/04/21/inecs-card-reader-exposes-electoral-fraud-in-akwa-ibom/?wt=2

What a pity!!! I could recall that it was after he was used for the Tambuwal saga that he was confirmed as the substantive IG, but today he's been shown the way out.
Well, I thank him for remaining nonpartisan in the elections, this saved Nigeria from the jaws of the looters
