1) Abort the baby
2)give birth and give the baby up for adoption .

1) you don't have a job ,no skill to earn money and the father too is not balanced financially. Do you want to bring an innocent baby to this world to suffer?

2) is the father ready to shoulder the responsibility of being a parent?

Nigerian parents and teachers should find time to sex educate their children too .

Athletic women are the best ,they are fit ,healthy and agile .
And that doesn't mean they can't have curves in the right places .and you have lesser chances of them bloating up on you 6 years post marriage....the healthy aspect of being fit trumps other factor for me.

It is hard to be logical in trying situations but it's beneficial to be.

1) keep the pregnancy. Tell your parents and her parents and prepare to take care of baby.

Hi everyone, its Dennis Abari once again. Am here with a fintech idea on how we developers cab solve the issue of lack of funds to build projects or startups.

Here is what I propose.

We will build an ethereum token, do an ICO and sell the tokens. Let me explain in more details.

We will create 2,000,000 $DEV token. We will then do an ICO and sell 1,000,000 of the dev tokens at $2 per token to raise $2M dollars.

1,000,000 tokens X $2 = $2,000,000.

To buy the dev token, people will send at least 2 DAI tokens (which is $2) into our ethereum smart contract and then the contract will send then 1 $dev token.

So if someone sends 10 DAI tokens (which is $10), he or she will receive 5 $dev tokens in return.

How will the money be spent.

1. $1M dollars out of the money will be use to invest in projects/startups and businesses that the community vote to invest in.
For all projects or startups invested in, the ICO investors get to receive revenue share or equity from the companies or project.

2. $500K will be kept in a reserve with yearn.finance to earn massive interests so that the money will be reinvested into projects and startups.

3. $500k will be given to Uniswap, Quickswap and compound finance for the public yo buy, sell and trade with it. ICO investors get rewarded in transaction fees (liquidity) from those platform.
4. The community will decide what to do with the remaining 1M tokens.

How do you benefit by contributing and buying $dev tokens.

1. All token holders will receive a share of every transaction fee or equity of startups or project the community will invest in.
2. Interests gained from the money in reserve will be distributed to all token holders every month.
3. All token holders will be covered in $500K tokens in reserve which will be earning interests for them every day. This is to protect them from the volatility of the ethereum market.

bro you forgot every Private key and Public keys are coming from different Path/Index? eg: 0,1,2,3,4,5,6 to end, if you are a blockchain developer you will understand better, no how you can use that has to access any account, when you are signing Transaction you will use PrivateKey which serve and Authenticator + your PubKey signing transaction on Blockchain Network will ask your Private and Public key to for another Key which will be broadcasted to the network, so you are not seeing the person Private Key, its a Pseudo PrivateKey.

Actually to my surprise the information you gave was correct .i was able to login to an account using the hash as private key. But all the accounts had zero balance

I still don't get how the block chain works. I get we have private key, public key, hash that encypt each transaction which are recorded in a block. Yet the process is not yet clear to me..

I suspect what you discovered might be a feature rather than a loophole, I don't know.

I will try to read and understand blockchain better to give a better and reasonable insight.

If it will save time and increase productivity then it is a welcome development.

Did you read what I have just written? Innovation's second name is David. And who is David? The killer of the giant Goliath. Hahahaha! David had to invent a small weapon to kill the giant. Invested so much in it, but cos the tech was just beyond human at the time, kodak concentrated on using films. They were making massive money on photo films with those old styles. Making money on picture papers, inks, etc. So, they refused to bring on board digital. And they sold the tech they developed in order to recover money for the investment on the research. They felt they were a giant who could not be defeated. Today where is Kodak? They made the first websites like Instagram and refused to use it. Why? They want to keep selling more physical frames for photos albums. Today we have digital collections of photos and we share digitally. Where is Kodak? Lol.

Nairaland, a case study
I researched deeply Nairaland. Let's be frank about it. What innovative actions or upgrades do we get here? Who knows? Imagine google or FB is like this, what do you think would have happened? This is to show you that we are not innovative enough in Nigeria. The innovative ones are checking out. Who blames them? Why would anyone who is innovative want to overtake NL? When there are better things to do outside Nigeria. When there is cooler cash out there. Why should any sane person want to do it?

Well, the love of Nigeria can. And if it is done well, there may be fruits here. Let us face reality, this is a redundant giant. I mean it without any apology. I am very frank and straight forward. Now listen, guys in diaspora who are reading me. This post may be for someone or a group of people, there is money in Naija. Trust me. You know what it takes to give Nigerians something great. You can do it. Please, do something. It is only innovation which can do it.

Yeah! I have seen many people doing exact same thing as NL. Lol. How can you beat a giant with the same approach the giant has mastered? How?

Three giants were killed
In the 90s, three giants were so strong I couldn't even imagine they can be defeated. They are: Yahoo, MSN and AOL. Your email had to be: @yahoo, @hotmail, @aol or their siblings at that time. You wanted to search, it was either yahoo or MSN's bing, or aol search. Front Page news was about these 3 giants too. Wow! I could not even imagine a time would come these giants will be defeated. But what happened? Google came on board.

Google focused at that time in just on one business area of these 3 giants - search engine. And we can see the continous innovation google is doing till date using AI algorithms now. Amazing stuff. It's easy to Google even programming codes now. Lol. Google killed these 3 giants permanently in the area of search engine and took over the business.

Google too met another innovative killer
Google was riding and bouncing like a giant. Lol. OMG! Ask Mr Osewa how google almost turned him to a pauper. Lol. Guys were always posting porn then which he has not resolved till date (this is to show you that there is no innovation here at all...an algorithm should have been developed to auto detect porn, deletes the posts, and spam bot do the justice as soon as such appear online instead of admins manually removing them). So what happened? Google took away NL's adsense. Hahaha. He suffered oooo. But how did he overcome it. Let me tell you the story.

Facebook came on board. And they took a huge percentage of paid advert from google. Ahahhaba. Google lost oooo. Facebook refused to compete via search engine, but came on board via social media. And they injured google seriously. This was how Mr. Osewa too thought of having his own ads too. And "small small" his prayers were answered again. Maybe this owner wouldn't have thought about doing his own. Or maybe hunger and desperation would have pushed him to start innovating. Who knows? But he is comfortable in the zone he is in today. Who can blame him? Lol.

Nairaland, a local non innovative giant
The state of our economy is why NL is still a giant here. But I tell you, it is a giant which is going down soon if the owner doesnt start innovating. If things continue like this, I give this forum 10 years max to be relevant again. And again, listen to me....the era of forum is almost wrapping off. Maybe someone will bring an innovative idea to make it better...maybe. Recently, I had a zoom meeting with some guys who wanted to do some stuff and after I discussed with them, they had to go again to the drawing board to look at the insights I gave them. What they have now cannot really catch up. What they need is an overtaking strategy, not a catching up one.

Well, perhaps something new entirely will remove NL permanently. Maybe its gonna be a bad ass mobile app instead of web based forum. Just think. You dont have to copy NL to compete with it. The focus is to have exchange of info through continuous flow of discussions. But I pray innovation occur here too. But it seems it will never happen.

I do not see using forum software or packages compete with this giant. You are wasting your time. You need something smarter and better. Think deep! What can it be?

innovation is good and all but marketing is harder ,convincing people to use your product is hard even if your product is amazing.

yes nairaland deserves all the bashing but you have to ĝive kudos to them ,managing a website with millions of users and millions of visitors per day is not moi moi..even growing a website to this size is amazing.i assurre it not by luck but hardwork ..

my advice to nairaland is that they should start refactoriñg their code base little by little.the potential for this website enormous. they already havthe userbase .they should expand their functionalities and look for more ways of adding value.

presently no indiginous website comes close to nairaland .they are till the undisputed king

It is doable. With the current technology available, this can be done. It doesn't matter if no one has done it before. I'm sure if all the programmers on nairaland gather around to solve this problem it would be solved.

I know many people who couldn't vote at the last election because they couldn't travelling home, they couldn't get their pvc, lack of trust in the election or complete apathy.Doing this will solve many of those problems.

Besides we won't lose anything by trying .

many of us can't afford to immigrate to another country, this is the only country we have and we can't watch It burn .besides we are all feeling the present economic situation and most of our leaders are old people spoiling the country for younger generations.

Many young people think their votes do not count .this could help change their mind, this could help them vote in the comfort of their homes. At least this could restore some confidence

To make internet voting in Nigeria work, you first need to have a voter's card. This is ironic because this would mean you need to propose an internet voting that needs more of an ID requirement which voting laws shouldn't have.

A question that might pop up in everyone's mind is, "But EvilSec, this doesn't quite add up??"
Here, let me explain. Online banking works because banking tracks every transaction back to the user. The principle of voting is that you cannot track votes back to the person who cast them. Voting is anonymous: you can track the fact people voted, but not who they voted for.

The most important attribute of a voting system is "trust". If it's computerized, anybody can make spurious accusations that the election has been hacked, and without non-computer records, there's no way to refute.

Well I think it's actually easy, something that a university student can do as a project. It'll require minor changes to the requirements we have with voting to match what's possible with cryptographic protocols.... But by "easy" I mean "in retrospect". It'll be a whole lot of infighting about exactly which requirements we are allowed to change, such as having a ID requirement.

P.s. I don't want to discourage serious work in this space, but if it's "simple":
1 Someone thought of it already;
2 It doesn't work in practice

Actually this issue of anonymous voting adds extra layer of difficulty. Maybe we can borrow the concept of public key and private key form blockchain to solve this, mind you I'm just thinking aloud here.

And why the anonymous voting self since only inec has access to the data and it won't be broadcasted ,even if it is i don't see anything wrong in linking your identity to your votes. It is your choice and voting is not a crime!

Better still, In addition to electronic voting , I think we could eliminate the need for physical counting too.

Each ballot paper will have a unique computerized code (bar code) ,after voting the paper will be fed to a device that reads your ID and your vote and sends the data to the database bla bla bla...i hope you get the drift

We don't have to solve every issue with voting at once, we just have to look at a pivotal point in the voting process and make it digitally, more efficient, less prone to tampering .
More ideas are encouraged.

We could create a github repository for this...
And our solution would follow the election throughout the whole process. From the the process of registration (an app that encourages and rewards people as they registered for elections) to airborne drone that monitors and records the elections on air, onground cameras and body cameras that records the onground activities,

Then to the actual voting process through android devices to voting machines and the the collation and transmission of electronic results.

We could make everything digital ,automated and seamless .
This could go a long way in strenghtning our democracy and restoring people's faith in our elections.

There's notifications when someone comments on your posts and you can save a post as favorite/follow the post..
