Good day house, please I need advice especially from the gurus in the house. I applied for a visit visa for my immediate elder sis who isn’t married and doesn’t have kids. She is supposed to visit my other sister who is a PR in canada however the visa was refused. This is the second refusal that happened in February this year( first one was in 2018). I wrote for a reconsideration but that was not successful either. I don’t know what to do at this point as we would really love for her to visit.
I want to reapply again, would you advise to use and immigration consultant at this point and if so please suggest good and affordable ones to talk to or should we just redo it again. If I redo and still no positive response can we reapply or there is a limit to no of application.

Ps the reason for rejection was insufficient fund, strong tie to canada and not convinced she will come back.
I ensured I explained in a letter of explanation with support docs her statement of acc with money in there, investments, salary account for work, pics of siblings all back home.

please are there single people with no kids who have actually applied before and got Canada visit visa?
please let us know how yo showed your ties back to Nigeria as it seems job and landed property is not cutting it for them.
if she reapplies she needs to show significant ties back home. plus how much does one need to have in the account to show they can afford the trip?

1-In the form, you’re expected to state how much you are going to spend for the trip and that includes flight ticket, accommodation and food. Is it her sister that will buy her flight ticket or just take up the expenses on arrival in Canada?she stated the 3m but her sister wrote in the invitation letter that she will take care of her expenses in Canada

2-Did she include the bank statement of her sister in Canada who’s going to take care of her expenses in Canada? yes she did

3-Most if not all Canadian applications don’t require interview. So, your LOE is one of the strongest documents you have to submit. An incoherent LOE(i.e. if it’s not in tandem with certain documents you submitted such as Annual Leave Letter, Offer of Employment, pay slips, bank statement, her relationship/upcoming wedding, etc) might result in you being denied a visa. Assume likely questions a visa officer might ask you concerning your application; purpose of visit, duration, why important, funding of the trip and the intention to return home.
Also, since she mentioned her upcoming wedding, did she include pictures of she and her fiancé to strengthen her home ties?
TRV application is about packaging and thorough attention to details.she added all these except payslip as her company don't give them payslip but she added a letter from their hr

P.S. Canadian Immigration Minister Sean Frazer has informed IRCC to relax certain criteria for visitor’s visa applications such as making sure the applicant has enough funds in the account, making sure the applicant will return home at the end of the visit. However, it hasn’t been confirmed when they intend to implement such measures and if it is for applications considered as backlogs or for new/future applications.i dont know what they have against singles with no kids

Appeal is very rare for a verdict on visiting visa, that does not mean it is a bad idea. The best approach is to re-apply.

The immigration authorities might have seen a redflag somewhere ( which the person is not privy to) despite your friend appear to be eligible based on the strong profile. Your friend would need to carefully evaluate the information filled in the application. The following questions may give you some clue:

1. How long did you declare you would stay during the period of your visit in Canada?

2. How much was your account balance when you submitted your application vis-a-vis the amount you stated you intend to finance (3million) your trip?

3. Did you justify logically why you would be away from your job for that duration E.g leave approval.

4. How long have you been on the job?

5. Did you submit an official letter of reference signed by your HR indicating what you do, your position and that you are a staff?

6. Do you have any travel history [ this should not be a major yardstick but experience tends to proof IRCC favor those with travel history more] -

Overall - (a)I would advise your friend to order for GCMS notes and evaluate the whole application again and try to identify areas that can be improved.
(b) Your friend may not rush to re-apply now. Sometime can be given to strengthen the profile.
(c) When the re-application is done, tone down on her sister in Canada apart from the area in the application form where she needs to declare truthfully that she has a sibling in Canada. The application should not just be only about the sibling, she also needs to understand the city she is visiting, names of attraction centers and fun places there.

Appeal a visitor visa where her home ties are just siblings and a job of less than CAN$2,000? She also has significant ties to Canada which further reduces her chances. You appeal a decision that you are sure you’ve covered the possible reasons for denial. Let her just reapply and make sure she corrects the reasons for denial. Appeal is just a waste of time and if she loses, it taints her future chances because it will be entered into her GCMS notes.

Are you a PR holder or a Citizen if you are , then you could get a Doctors Advice showing your EDD and attach to a web form asking for a speedy approval on health grounds then you will also write to IRCC stating on the need for your sisters application to approved on time because of the current development and her presence will highly be of help as she will assist u during this period attach the EDD , get a medical report from your doctor attach all and send but if your not a PR Holder or Citizen well you just be hopeful because their many VV applicants of March without response yet , you can just send web forms asking to help look into your application as it have way passed processing time .

Biometric completed May 31 2022
No further update.
Raised web form on Oct 31,complaining about delay, and wanting to know if application has been abandoned,so I can make a new one.
BVL and PPR ..Nov. 04 2022.
Review of eligibility started today.
Application is for my mother in law.
I am a citizen,own my house and work full time with my wife. I strongly believe my webform brought up my application for further processing.
So if you have gone past processing timeline, raising a web form may be worth trying.

There is no need to panic... simply write a letter stating why you were refused and attach evidence of refusal if you have it... that generic paper they give upon refusal.

That's fine, its not a big deal that you were denied because the VO thought you won't return. Just explain it in the LOE like that and attach a schedule A form and the VISa denial letters. PR is for people that will stay so you should be fine.
