dutchbruv: This country can not and will never develop and progress with the caliber of leaders we have. We have been ruled by hypocritical and eye services leaders, who are hugely partisan with no love for the country. There is huge evidence against Oshiomhole, but because he is the chairman of apc and paddy paddy man to Buhari, nothing will happen to him. There is petition written against him since he left office, but efcc has refused to arrest and charge him to court. The same efcc has refused to delve into corrupt allegation against Tinubu and his company through a petition by the former CEO, all because they dine and wine with the anti corruption priest. Just imagine the defense being put up by efcc, that there is nobody who can tell them when to act on a petition. Ortom defected, and within 74 hours efcc and the police sent their men after governor Ortom, a setting governor with immunity, whereas an ordinary Oshiomhole, who has lost his immunity has not been interrogated. Buhari, Magu, Idri and others covering all the corrupt apc people will never go unpunished. Gospel truth |

As much as I'm a huge fan of Dino, his flamboyance and constant display of affluence gotten by tax payers money is annoying and I sincerely hope he doesn't return to the Senate to continue feeding fat while his constituents are languishing in poverty.
Truth is, Dino's only interest is his, and that of his immediate family and 'small girls' with him as their 'big god' |

Reminds me of a teacher that bought job then in boarding house. Just gave this boy one stroke of cane and he collapsed and went from there. That experience taught me never to hit anyone as i can't tell ones state of health by mere looking at the person |

ojex004: Blood or siblings worst more than anything in abroad. base on my own experience and what i see around when i visit It's quite unfortunate cos they have this outdated, archaic mentality of a one eyed man being king in the city of the blind so they never want others to progress, hence looking up to them at all times. Really, there is something wrong with the black man |

wagazala: Menace to society?? No
The Politicians are the menace to society. Do you know how much IGR the Govt makes from Betting. If you live in Lagos and feel secure, do you know how much is contributed to the Security Trust Fund by Betting companies? Let me not even get started on employment...just look around you, how many youths are employed in these bet shops and bet companies etc?
You 'holier than thou' lot really need some cleansing. I dont see you complaining alchohol is a menace, nor complain about smoking?? Have you heard of responsible gaming policies?
We shouldnt always condemn what we dont understand. Unfortunately, you're the holier than thou here in your assertion. I agree with all you've penned down right there. However, it's eating deep into the fabric of most youths and it's a cause of concern cos tomorrow, when the mantle of leadership finally transfers to our generation, we'll be clueless on the way forward |

Politics › Re: Why Donald Duke Remains Our Best Option by fasho01(m): 6:47am On Nov 09, 2018 |
NwaAmaikpe:

Donald Duke is someone I consider a friend. He is an intelligent young man with a proven track of excellence in leadership. His personal life is also a reflection of the great standards he sets for himself. His proficiency in the Saxophone and his knowledge of Jazz paints him as a multi-tasker with a healthy worl-life balance.
In as much as Nigeria will be best with a leader like him at it's helm of affairs. The time is not now. This battle is for the swift, This race is for the strong. This is also a battle that must be won if the war will be won.
Donald Duke is not that man to win this battle considering his electoral strength in the core-North who are programmed by default to vote based on ethnic and religious sentiments. Only Atiku has the speed, the strength and Northern political clout to win this fight.
So a vote for Donald Duke is a vote lost to Atiku and a vote for Buhari. We must eliminate vote-splitting by not considering the featherweights if Buhari must be sent back to Daura.
Even Donald understands this. You should too. Please do not split your vote by voting SDP. Let's unite and vote Atiku so that we can send the dullard back to Daura. So true. Probably the most qualified for the job but the timing ain't right based on our electorate and voting pattern and for now, the only goal is #BackToDaura |

bilms: The we as used in the post is referring to myself and several others who have been following the campaign since it started. Yes, you may be aware of him this year, but many had been following since the late 80's when he led the student movement against the Structural Adjustment Prograamme (SAP) in what is today known as the anti sap protest. They followed him to the civil society as he and others are founders of Commitee for Defence of Human Rights (CDHR) where he served as founding secretary. They also followed him to G34, where was one of the youngest member, leading to the formation of PDP, where he served as founding assistant publicity secretary in 1999 as the youngest national officer.
He was one of the first set of people to leave PDP during OBj regime, due to ideological reason even though he was supposed to be a beneficiary of illegality, he choose to walk away to concentrate on his business.
The GOHashim campaign is in 36 states, not just in states, but in all 774 local government and wards. Those who formed these structure are part of the 'we'.
The several admirer of GOH that have keyed into the loudable vision of transforming our economy from $410billion to $4trillion are also part of the we
The over 10 political parties that have also adopted him as their presidential candidates are also part of the we.
There are several millions of others who are part of this we, we are the we and i know that you may also want to be part of it.
Let's support GOH to make Nigeria better Quite impressive. I'll obviously give my vote to him rather than to those recycled grandfathers. I hope you 'we' do a spectacular work in the sensitization of the populace so my vote makes a difference.. |

bilms: We Will support him. Many more people are really into GOH. Trust me, this guy is a big deal.
Let's all do our part by starting conversations about him on our individual platforms Who is the 'we', how many are we the 'we' and how influential are the 'we' in our wards to cause a major upset to the well rooted structure the major parties have nationwide in respect to luring votes for GOH He seems to be the big deal no doubt but I didn't know of him up until this year. I assure you that if he keeps up this pace and not go into oblivion and resurface next electioneering period like a leap year, he stands a chance in the near future.. |
