PoliticsRe: Petition In Favour Of President Buhari Gathers Over 5000 Signatures In 24hours by fasho01(m): 1:37am On Jan 04, 2016
Nigerians self undecided

Those that initiated the petition in the first place should use their time to develop themselves rather than stir unnecessary trouble.

The present administration is barely a year on whether they like it or not. Will they continue like thishuh

Why not give them a chance to take us out of the messy situation we find ourselves in this country? After all, it's a collective effort from all of us.
RomanceRe: 14 ways to become the perfect boyfriend by fasho01(m): 1:27am On Jan 04, 2016
Nice write up. Sure to spice up many relationships

But is there really anything like the perfect boyfriendhuh

No matter how you try, you can never understand women as there is no general rule to pleasing them.

What Ada finds annoying, Hauwa may be indifferent about , yet Folake will find it so interesting. Get my drift?

Nairaland GeneralRe: See The Kind Of Annoying And Wicked Gift Newly Wed Couple Got From A Guest by fasho01(m): 7:16am On Dec 30, 2015
Rubbish angry

Is it a must to give gift?

Since the person added money in the box, what just stopped him/her from just putting the money in an envelope and give the couple?

Useless mentality of carrying a big wrapped present to the wedding.

Why can't any of these current public office holders tackle issues without playing the blame gamehuh

Now the 'tremendous success' being recorded by this present administration, is with which arms?

Or is he unaware that the present administration is yet to procure egg shell, let alone a bullet.

Bloody incompetent peeps, politicizing everything. Don't know why these guys keep playing opposition up till nowhuh

PoliticsRe: Jonathan’s Govt Provoked Soldiers Into Mutiny —buhari by fasho01(m):
No no no.. Mr president!

Agreed, there was gross misappropriation of funds in the last administration but don't you all get tired of the blame gamehuh You should be focused on putting the country back on the right track and not always running to BBC Hausa to give excuses for your lack of solutions to the enormous issues on ground.

As a General in the Nigerian Army, one would expect you to know better about mutiny and a question begs for an answer.. Which weapons are currently being used to 'win' the war against this barbaric insurgentshuh

With the way OP said he is far bigger than her in size, I must say I laud his cool cos it ain't a common virtue.

Thank God he is not calmly lying in a casket but I think not getting physical with his wife was the best thing to do.

You've said it yourself, you're crazy in love. Why not 'uncraze' yourself and see things clearly as they are?

You're not yet married and she's exhibiting such traits? Expect more of this and that her friend to become the MD/CEO of her life if you decide to continue the relationship.
RomanceRe: I Wont Beg Any Girl Again On Consequences Of Premarital Sex by fasho01(m): 1:34am On Dec 26, 2015
Op, you would have made sense if you were subtle in your approach to the matter. Remember it's the love of God that brings men unto repentance not His wrath.

Moreover, the way forward for those that have erred should be your focus not all this your judgemental rantings.

Then a piece of advice for those that will refuse to change, stating the consequences for continuing in such unwholesome act. With this approach, you'd be making sense

Wow.. I admire your resilience Sir. You have proven that some males still act as men by keeping your cool even at the most provocative and life threatening circumstances.

However, don't you have an elastic limit to all this? It beats my imagination that after all you've narrated, you're still seeking advice. So, if left, you will still continue with that woman you call your wife? Obviously, that native doctor has got some potent stuff.

I sincerely feel for you and would advise you separate from your wife first, then prayerfully tackle the issue before finally dissolving this made in hell union, taking your daughter with you.

I trust God you'll bounce back, even surpassing your previous status and with how calm you've been in all this, you'll surely find someone who will appreciate you and take care of your daughter.

First things first, please quit co-habiting with that woman. All the best sir.

teepain:
There is actually no problem with borrowing. The major problem is what you end up doing with the borrowed funds.

If the fund is meant to finance capital expenditure which will aid our cash inflows in the future then there is a good justification for it.

If well used the borrowed may be able to pay itself back. It smacks of mischief when the likes of FFK criticize this budget without criticizing PDP senators like Ben Bruce who had encouraged PMB, after the release of the MTEF, to borrow a substantial amount to jumpstart the revival of infrastructures instead of borrowing piecemeal.
Politics aside, well said. Hope the borrowed funds will be judiciously utilized and there will good justification for it.

only the ipob would see a sense in ffk statement. I am not supprised that the drunking master is offering worthless advise n suggestions on how to move the nation 4ward. where was dz lunatic and opportunist when sambo dasuki stole billions in dollars and nairn? where was the sense of ffk when noi looted abacha funds? where was dz arrogant man when x nimasa md n tompolo converted national wealth and assets to their own? enough from dz Amugbo ile ife.
FFK couldn't have spoken then since he was part of the looters. Being in the opposition now, and being the hypocrite that he is, he has decided to speak up now.

Unless funds are judiciously utilized and our economy diversified, this government will be no different from the one where FFK and co converted national wealth and assets to their own.

irondome:
Are we referring to the same 2015 that most states struggled to pay minimum salary to workers? Other years (2007 to 2014) do not compare to the present as our earnings from crude oil was more than sufficient to support our budget.

Borrowing is welcome as long as the bulk of the money is channeled into infrastructural development.

Finally on Fani, he has no moral ground to speak on this matter as the previous governments were entirely pre-occupied with embezzlement. Nigerians would be happy we borrowed if the funds are judiciously utilized.
Let's hope the bulk of the money will be channelled into infrastructural development and diversifying our economy cos in the past, funds are not usually judiciously utilized.

That's the exact direction we are looking at, an that is well taken care of in the budget. We are diversifying and move from reliance on unpredictable price of crude oil.
Proper implementation of the budget is my main concern. I just hope it all works well cos solely relying on oil is what has put us in this economic stalemate.
