Is this particular painting your real work or what you got off the internet? I really like it. This is the first time I saw painting here where the paint used on the ceiling did not touch the wall. The ceiling was neatly painted without the white paint touching any part of the wall. The attention to detail in the painting job throughout your thread is what I never saw here before on nairaland. The painting of the ceiling is worth dying for. It is very rare to see artisans pay so much attention to details like this in Nigeria. I've seen a lot of sh1t here that I just shook my head and moved on.

I need you to tell me the truth if these three painting pictures I posted below were your own work. I'm going to have you replicate the same thing on my project within the next two months.

It's the same tiles carara white, unless what he wanted is not carara white

I hope it is. It looks just like it but Carrara comes with nylon wrap and stamp on each tile. Four tiles per box and the white in them look so white and super glossy.

I went to Floor and Décor between 8-12 times before I came back to finally buy. They got tired of me within three weeks after going there. The managers, floor boys, drivers all know me very well till today. They thought I was only coming to see so they stopped attending to me whenever I showed up. But the day I came there with my kids and sister and ready to buy was when they finally believe I was serious about tiles I had been pricing for over three months. I wrote them a check and they had to kind of scrutinize my check. I just told them to go clear the check and get my tiles ready within 4 weeks. When my tiles finally ready with my names printed on them they called me to come and sign for their release.

Those oyinbo believe na only them get money to buy good stuff. They believe for a black man to buy good stuff, he or she must be an athlete.

No ceramic tile like that that I saw before. Most ceramic tiles come plain.

Not close Hajj. That tile you saw up there is called Carara polished porcelain tile. It is the tile I wanted to go for but changed my mind at the end and went for plain polished white tiles. They are not cheap at all. It won't cost less than 9,000 - 11,000 naira per square meter in Nigeria if at all they have it. I bought mine $2.79 per square foot but now sold for $2.49 per square foot.

Normally you know the standard is 1:2:4. Worst case scenario I advice 1:3:6 but for the floor slab, the client advised that mix ratio and I thought it was okay since the area is not water logged.

I like those first two designs.

For a 29 million naira home not to have pictures, the house must be about 5 miles wide which must make it hard for camera to capture the entire length of the house.

I use the same setup. My home electronics were purchased on sale on amazon. Simply Bought the right voltage converter.
Just make sure to buy a decent quality( voltage converter) and the right capacity, particularly for the refrigerator.

Where are you based? I have tried to have a borehole on my property in Abeokuta but to no avail. I did three geo-survey. One recommended no water, second says there was water but not much. Third one said he found water by my gate area. The two who advised we go ahead gave me 89 and 93 meter depth respectively. The first person who did the survey said if anyone advises I go ahead with drilling, that person is only deceiving me.

What do you think about this?
