blackpanda:As long as you supported his quest for second term in office, all bets were off when it came to stealing. Ineffectual buffon was a disaster that should never happen again. Few weeks before the 2015 general elections, ineffectual buffon opened foreign exchange vault and dished out money like it was Xmas time. |
GudluckIBB:Let them come. I'm here for them. |
Imagine what these thieves did under ineffectual buffon. And ineffectual buffon kept saying he was fighting corruption with technology. How did the corruption fight with technology work out for him? Then ineffectual buffon came up with yam and goat theory. Never in our lives should we have another ineffectual buffon as president. Buhari hasn't fared better either. Monumental fraud going on under Buhari too coupled with directionless economic policies. SMH. |
Empiree:Yes, his place is big. I saw it but there is no way he needs more than 60KVA for his house. Those 4 generators he has are industrial generators. Their capacities start from 60KVA and above. It is more about an illiterate showing he has money. The place where I work now has a standby CAT generator of 80KVA. It is 15 times bigger than where Wasiu lives. |
Empiree:You actually don't need 60KVA to power what you have with two refrigerators on 24/hrs. I have 11 ACs, 4 tvs and lots of other things to power and I can assure you 20KVA can power 6 ACS at a time, 1 refrigerator, 40 lights, iron, water pump, big microwave without any problem. As a matter of fact, I only need 8KVA of power to power 6 ACs at a time with other few things I just listed. 20KVA diesel generator is a powerhouse too. |
mufutau55:That Wasiu is an illiterate. I recently saw on youtube how he was throwing 1000 naira bills in the air to his fellow illiterate in his compound hailing him as Alhaji. Why would anyone needs such four gigantic generators at home if not about showing off? Those generators are made to last a life time. |
Empiree:Yes they are. They are enclosed. Some of them are 58-63 decibels without load. When fully loaded, the noise goes up to around 73 decibels. The best thing to do is to have them at least 40 feet away from the main house to reduce the noise pollution from the generator. Look at the generators in enclosure and the one not in enclosure.
|
Empiree:Na generator sure pass. In my own case, I don't need to power everything at once. I'm going for 20KVA diesel generator. K1 having 4 diesel generators look overkill to me. Some people just like to show wealth by displaying they have it in abundant. I don't see why Wasiu needs more than 40-60KVA to power whatever he has. The house is two wings. Those generators in his compound are not less than 60KVA each. Especially the first one to the left. |
Empiree:I would have loved to go for solar too but appliances and other things I need to power are so much that I've been advised not to consider solar. You can go for solar in a house where you have maybe 8-10 lights, 2 tvs, refrigerator and laptop. But in a house where you have to power five or more ACs, water pump, 10-15 lights, iron, 4 tvs, laptop, big microwave, and few other things, then solar power won't be a good idea. In my own case, I'm going to need at least 40KVA of power if I have to power everything I intend to power in my house at once. That won't be possible with solar because you actually need twice the KVA of what is required to power your house. Solar power requires you have twice of power you need or else it goes bad within few weeks. For example, if your total power need is 8KVA, solar system requires you have 16KVA of solar power. Your solar system must run have capacity of its total power. |
Wonderboy1:Thank you very much. Good information. |
The Lekki, Ajah rental crew and land sellers have destroyed property section. They are too many here. We have on average of 50 of the agents here with each posting between 8-20 topics that they update 2-3 times per day. It is very hard to see any meaningful property development thread because of these agents in property section. Seun needs to split this section like he did in auto section. It is very hard to browse through the topics for meaningful discourse without going through 80 - 110 threads about buying land or renting from Lekki, Ajah and environs. |
[s] OneTruePrince:[/s] Delusional little boy you are. Find a mat and get some sleep. Arindin. |
OneTruePrince:Go and work hard and stop bringing God into this conversation. Go for 1998 Toyota Corolla for now till you are able to make good money. Cut your coat according to your size. |
Wonderboy1:Which one do you suggest between Mikano and FG Wilson and why? Don't say they are the same. ![]() |
[s] OneTruePrince:[/s] Go sleep and sin no more. ![]() ![]() |
Wonderboy1:Which diesel generator brand produces the most quiet generator of 20KVA - 25KVA? |
[s] OneTruePrince:[/s] Trash. I didn't bad mouth you. You created a wailing thread and you deserved to be taught that such nonsense you posted here shouldn't go unchallenged. Did you see me ask for clients here? People know me very well here and I don't need any advertisement to get clients. You created a thread because you couldn't afford to buy a Lexus when you visited a dealership. Stop blaming car dealers. If your budget can only buy you a 1998 Toyota Corolla, why don't you go for that instead of trying to buy Lexus? Get a better job that can get you enough money to buy a Lexus. |
Dereformer:Contact me through 08096385068. |
baaliyah:I have no idea the spacing they used for mine. I only provided the funds. Just talk to the right people in the roofing business to guide you. |
[s] OneTruePrince:[/s] With solid proof staring your red eyes, yet you are still being stubborn. I repeat, you have no money and clueless. Go and find a better work that pays enough to buy a car. Here is another Lexus RX330 bought for another Nairalander recently. Do the Maths and stop talking about things you have no clue about.
|
OneTruePrince:I'm glad you know you are ignorant of car buying from USA. Yet you opened a thread about things you have no clue about. Well, the advise you just gave is meant for you. Stop talking about things you have no clue about. It is glaring you want to buy a car but you can't afford what you think you want and trying to blame dealers for your lack of funds. People who have money to buy cars of their choice don't open thread. They go to the car dealership, choose what they want, negotiate and initiate payment. You came here blaming dealers for your inability to buy yourself a good car. Too bad..... |
OneTruePrince:Yes you are 2 million miles wrong. Now tell me how much RX350 was being sold for before the exchange rate skyrocketed. I emboldened your statement for a reason. It seems you know so much about buying, trucking and shipping from the U.S. I've been trying to help someone buy this particular 08 RX350 with slight damage on it for the past three weeks at the cost of $6000 and up till today we have not been able to win one. If you dare go near dealership in the USA where they sell clean one, be prepared to pay around $13,000 - $15,000 for the same RX 350. Now do the Maths by the time you add trucking to the port, shipping to Lagos and clearing. I repeat you have no clue. Why don't you shun the sellers on nairaland and buy from car dealers who sell cheap cars in your dream land? |
OneTruePrince:You really don't have money to buy yourself a good car but you came here making unsubstantiated charges again dealers. You have no clue what the cost of vehicles and shipping from USA is at the moment. Dealers are struggling to make ends meet at the moment. Clearing cost has gone up by 30% in the last seven months as well. I buy vehicles and ship vehicles from the US everyday and I know what it is. Help your quriousity by stopping by bureau de change and ask cost of exchange rate. It is $1 - 475 as at today. Go and work hard more before thinking about buying a car instead of blaming dealers for what they have no control over. I almost sold a Solara on Saturday with about 45,000 naira profit until I was asked not to sell it and wait for better deal and not rush to sell it. |
I really like this. |
Where is this person with fiber glass pool? |
june20:Actually the little kitchen highland did a diservice to the kitchen overall. No enough space in that kitchen but you forced an island in the middle to eliminate the little space left in the kitchen. The island was unnecessary. That kitchen would have looked five times better without the island. |
spyder880:This looks like hardcore to me. Oga this thing is super thick and I have never seen anything like that before. Kudos to you, sir. |
How genuine is this property? What are the documents available? |
Empiree:They both look great. I used 0.55mm Metcoppo for the roofing of my house and love the look till date. Just make sure you get expert to do the wood work. Mine was wrongly done by one know nothing nairalander. He didn't know the spacing for Metcoppo is different from long span. I had to let him go. I got new people to completely tear down the wood work and redo it. We bought extra wood and assessories in the tune of 420k plus extra workmanship. Other than this setback, I have no complain. Metcoppo looks great from far. |
