Why don't you go for a Master's in Computer Science. It will make a lot of sense for a career progression, a direct match to your Bsc.
Just an advise ...

All the best!

BenedictStinson:
Hello all. I am a graduate of Computer Science 2015. I had initially gotten admission to Fanshawe for Mobile Application Development but got withdrawn due to late deposit payment.
Anyways now I have two pending admissions : Information Business Technology Analysis from Connestoga and Supply Chain Management from Northern College

I have been working as in Inventory officer in a Supermarket since 2017 so I'm wondering which course would make better sense to accept for visa explanation purposes especially since the study gap. The supply management has a lot of courses that directly reference inventory and has a Co-op work term

No two Visa applications are the same. It's best if a police report is submitted. What worked for you may not work for others.
Just an advise though...

All the best

Papapa1234:
It's not..I didn't submit mine even though it was 5k at the time..

I also submitted my app on the 30th of may.

Same here too May Applicant Submitted 19th. May God touch the heart of IRCC to remember us. I shall not defer my admission by God's Grace.

It'll end in praise

Amen o! My PPR is next. I claim and receive it!

Abi2022:
Congratulations to all who have gotten PPR so far and Congratulations to us who will be getting soon. I stumbled on this thread about a month after my submission. I wish I did earlier though because of the amount of information available on the thread! Thanks to all who daily encourage others and those that remember to come back to share their timelines, documents submitted and tips & tricks.

If you are new and just applying or have applied and waiting, I suggest you do an Upfront medical, this MAY help save time and kickstart the process.

I applied April 26, 2022 and did an upfront medical on May 25, though I not get a medical request I started sending emails 3rd week in June and my medical was updated June 23 (I should have sent emails and webform by end of week one). Another set of emails sent initiated my "eligibility review" on July 05. Now I am waiting for PPR and have sent another set of emails....and I believe it will end in praise . Everyone will glorify God with me.

It's tiring and can be mentally exhausting, I pray God gives those of us in His waiting room patience to stand the season and show His Mercy and Favour as regards our application.

We will share our testimony sooner than we think in Jesus Name.

I understand the anxiety but just stay positive and keep praying. You will get a reply soon. You don't need to worry about deferring any admission for now, My school also resumes on the 1st of September. We still have like 7 weeks more before resumption. God has a special plan for everyone. There's nothing to be depressed, you have done your part. Contacting a MP is really laudable.

It'll surely end in praise!

All the best!

Nerd95:
Congratulations to everyone that has gotten their PPR. I tap into your testimony.

I applied in March, Biometrics completed in the same month.
Medical completed and reflecting on my portal on April 5th.
Eligibility review started around May ending. Since then nothing.

Send emails and raised webforms but Nairobi replied to only my first email stating that my application is under active review. Sent emails to MPs but they said they can't help because I am not in Canada. Yesterday makes it 30days since I applied for my gcms note. Still waiting for it.

School is to Resume first week of September and I am getting worried and depressed especially seeing recent applicants getting their PPRs.

Please gurus, any advice?

Just keep praying and hoping for the best. You can request for an extension as planned. But if nothing changes after the extension you can pay via local currency transfer on flywire to save you time and stress. But the exchange rate might be on a high side...

All the best Champ!

Ghazali34:
Since on the 4th of this month. Due date is 22nd Of this month as well.

Yes I’m paying through Flywire. Seneca college.

I have been going to bank back to back. Also calling and sending mails to customer care.

It's just doesn't make why Form A should be taking too long for approval. God help us in Nigeria. I will advise you to go to your bank and disturb them small, it might not make any visible difference but it's something just explain things to them if they can call them in Abuja or something. The effort alone will give you a little hope.

For how long have you been processing this Form A?
Are you paying through flywire?

I know you must have been stressed. All the best!

It'll end in praise!

Ghazali34:
Hello, please does anyone have a format on how to request for extension of due date on tuition fees?

Form A is still on ADB DISBURSEMENT REVIEW

Hello house and greetings to all the gurus, I am a silent member and I joined nairaland sometime around November/ December 2021 after I received my acceptance letter from NBCC. I read through thread 18,19, 20… and I leant so many things. I contacted Makanoglabal on the thread who assisted me with an outstanding SOP and vital information that assisted me in my application. He encouraged me even when I thought it can’t be possible. He was always ready to answer my numerous questions even those that are absurd. I just want to say thank you for your support and help throughout my application journey. Words cannot express how grateful I am. I also want to appreciate the house for all its wonderful and constructive contributions. WHAT GOD CAN NOT DO DOES NOT EXIST

Ppr alert

My time line

My timeline
Applied : 2nd of May 2022
Biometrics : 12 of May 2022
Medical request : 10th of June
Medicals updated to pass : 1st of July
Bvl and ppr: 15th of July

My mistake
I did upfront medicals on 26th of May. I did not upload or send my medical information sheet until I got the request. I just felt it will be updated. Unfortunately, IOM didn't send my medicals till 6th of June.

My advice always send your medical information sheet immediately you do your medicals to save time.

Documents submitted

First when will your old passport expire? Have you started processing a new one? Because I saw on FB last week someone from India got rejected because his passport had like very few months left before expiration. Please be careful to avoid any unnecessary issues affecting your application.

With sending your passport for PPR you have to send the one you used initially for your application. Based on my knowledge though?

All the best!

Going for a philosophy program is your best bet to getting your visa I must tell because of the career progression and you will have more pro arguments. Your CIPM can also be an advantage for you during your application stating how your MA in philosophy will help you develop transferable skills in HR moving forward. It will be more convincing.
All the best!

loluwaomo:
thank you so so much ... i considered HR because i have always wanted that and bcus of my CIPM which i am almost done hence the move for HRM but would reach out to you

Why don't you consider doing a Master's in Philosophy, to avoid any issues with your study Visa application in Canada there some universities that can still offer admission for the winter term like the University of Windsor if you can afford the tuition, they also offer GTAs if you have good grades.

I studied Philosophy and I have applied for my study permit with a Masters in Philosophy although still waiting for a positive response by God's grace.

I know of someone who just got is study Visa approved via a Masters in Philosophy. The Coco na Career Progression, I will advise you go for a Masters in Philosophy at least your purpose of visit is secured and you can battle the other criteria with your VO. The Human Resources stuffs go need too much explanation...

Just an advise though... You can reach out to me if you need assistance.

It will end in praise!!!

Hi Guys i am new here... i actually have Masters admission offers for UK for January 2023 intake but i intend switching to Canada.
.
1. I applied to centinnial college for a year program with co-op option but may i know if its not to late considering the fact that i intend resuming January.
2. Can I apply to two courses in centinnal college ...is there anyone who has done it before
3. How long does it take to get feedback from centinnal college after sending the required documents
4. I studied Philosophy for my undergrad and currently doing CIPM.. Completed my NYSC last year and i work as a graduate trainee with an investment firm
