DonX001: When buying a domain name, you should already have some things in mind it can be used for, and some people you can reasonably offer the name to. Ideally, you should have checked on Google, Yahoo and Bing and identified some businesses (at least 10-20 businesses), that the name can be useful for, that is, can be an upgrade from their current name, BEFORE buying the domain name. So that you don't end up wasting money. Either its a shorter, better version of the domain name they are currently using, or the ".com" of their name when they are using a ".net", or the exact ".com" name of their business if they are using a variation because the .com was not available when they were creating their website. Alternatively, if you're going to be buying geodomains, some of the guidelines are: 1. It should be in a popular niche where businesses are spending money online to look for clients, 2. It should be in a city with a reasonable population, preferably at least 100,000, but even if less than that, it should be sizeable, so that you can have many options of businesses to offer the domain name to. 3. Domain name that has City+keyword tends to be preferred to keyword+City, though you can still sell the latter sometimes depending on how vibrant the niche is online and how large the city is. 4. Avoid typos...domaon names that are incorrect spellings of the words.
If you're targeting brandables, just make sure the name is short, pronounceable, and something that a business might like. However brandables are more difficult to sell and take more time and patience, so I'll advice you target more of geodomains as a starter until you've gotten used to it, unless you catch some really good brandables names.
Now coming to your own domain names you've bought, my comments are: Estateown: I don't know what you have in mind or who will buy this one....this one is just depending on luck IMo. realestateconsultantservice/king: Since its not targeting any particular city, might be difficult to sell, as most services prefer names targeting a specific city or state. chicabearsonline/king: I don't know jackshit about Chica bears, so I can't comment on that. No energy to research it. Guess they might be a shortform of Chicago Bears. You that bought the name, what's on your mind?? onlinepharmacybuy/king: This one worry small too, names are much better if arranged in the order people type when they search for it, eg BuyonlinePharmacy rather than onlinepharmacybuy.
So I'm not really optimistic about any of your names. However, like I told the other guy, that's not to say it can never be sold. If you cannot refund these ones because its already past the refund period, list them aggressively at all the possible marketplaces, list them very cheap, $100 or less, you can even offer them to fellow domainers on Namepros at $50 or less, make your money no loss completely. Do aggressive outbounding for anyone you can find reasonable possible clients for. Then hope for the best. If person buy, good, if them no buy, take it as a lesson, as part of the learning curve that you will laugh at yourself later when you become a guru.
Most importantly, read through the first 100 pages of this thread for better understanding, before buying more names. These guidelines I've written up there are just small nuggets, most of the main meat is in this thread. You'll find that you'll get better as you progress. Cheers. You said it all boss |

Silvereze: Please I need an advise in selecting some domain names. For a domain name like chicagosportscar and Chicagosportscars which is better..
In cases like this which is better, singular, plural or both. Thanks Cars is better, When you say sports car it signifies the business sell only 1 sport car |

DonX001: Personally, I wouldn't advise you to ask for a refund, unless you're really short of funds and have money to buy only 1 or 2 names. If not, keep it, list it on ALL the marketplaces, at a reasonable price (<$500). You just never know what will happen. I've seen worse names sold for $700, $800 and even over $1,000 on the Namepros completed sales thread. You'll be wondering what on earth the buyer wants to use it for, but you can't really know what's going on in the buyer's mind.
You can even offer it to the owner of the "Toynames" site for a very cheap price (like $100-$200), and tell them they can use it to redirect any loose traffic to their site, and to avoid competitors coming to buy it and compete with them. Those 2 reasons can sometimes be enough reason for them to buy it, particularly the 2nd reason, especially if your price is cheap...small money.
Then keep buying some more names AFTER reading at least the first 100 pages of this thread and understanding the underlying principles. yea you have a point though but i see this is two pluralized words toys + names now the only possible buyer will be the owner of the singular, what if the owner of the singular was the one that dropped the plural. and trust the whites likes something different, before someone will buy that name he will probably check the singular which is the best. and if he notices is taken then the wont see a need. now the names just stays without any potential buyer, because is not brandable had it been you had many potential user or had it been it ways the singular, then it will nice holding. but all the same if you have much money you can keep it, the industry could be funny at times. |

2sexynet: Those people you are talking about have other source of income. Don't be fooled.
I am willing to bet my money on it that a lot of guys here Will wait for the right offers or buyers if they had another source of income...
Chibenze sold a domain name for 5500 euros years ago , he rejected a lot of offers to get to that stage.
Domaining has different categories. Like Farouksenior stated, do as you wish and follow your guts. years ago |

Nezta43: Bro this doesn't mean if you have a geo name and a buyer comes you rush and sell cus you feel you won't have another buyer..personally I won't agree to an $100 offer to any of my geo names. This is this guy on namepros that deals on geo names the least price he reports is usually $249. Some of the names he reports $449 we sell it here $150 exactly we nigerians we tend to de-evaluate price of things fast, do you know i can easily spot a nigeria portfolio when i come across one on undeveloped or anywhere i just simply look at the names then i see Geo, next i look at the price for confirmation |

I have been ransacking the net to see if I can lay my hands on any info regarding its history but nothing comes up as it only shows the day I registered it.
My dilemma is if I should quote some figure or not.
The name is a decent one with similar names sold in the range of $XXXXX according to namebio.

Buhari2019: I enjoy sales report and valuable information than long posts/grammar without strategies that is working. If you want to comment on issues back it with your sales report than using namepros guys(with over 500 domain portfolio) as reference. That $150 offer you rejected may be the last offer for the domain till it drop and the $150 offer you accepted may be your last sale for months. this only applies when you see domaining as luck, Bro if you know what you have offers will keep coming through. i have gotten three offers on one of my brandable name and i said NO, and is not going to be the last if you know stub on namepros the guy was the last person i got an offer from, he was willing to buy 2 of my brandable but he wants it cheap, i simply redirected him to my landers, he said not that price and i simply said thanks for the offer, shikina abi na 7.99$ or 8$ to renew, bro if i no sell am i go renew am, the more it age self the better and the higher the value. someone hand reg above9.com and he flipped it for 1500$+ do you think if he had not sold it this year he will drop it next year or the one that hand reg paladindrones.com and sold for 7000$ you think if had not made a sale for that he will drop it. Domain shouldn't been seen as luck, something that requires luck much effort is not put in, but here all of put our brain to work. All am saying is know the value of your domain and even if you dont sell now hold strong, unless you are facing financial crisis and you need to flip for money. but nothing like last offer on a good name |
