High prolactin which is hyperprolactinaemia need to be corrected to achieve conception. I went through your post i realise u are on Bromergon which is bromocriptine that i mentioned in one of my post. It is effective in the treatment of high prolactin. I hope you are still on it. Have you check your tube for patency. Has your DH done seminal fluid Analysis. God will crown all your effort with BFP

Thank u dear for ur response. My Bromergon just finished last weekend. I have not checked for tube patency. My hubby has done SFA & his results came out fine.

Did he treat you for the high Prolactin and Galactorrhea (white discharge) before placing you on Clomid? I think you also need to treat the high Prolactin. Did you ovulate on the Clomid cycle? If you ovulated then the clomid did its job only that you didn't fall pregnant. If you're overweight, try losing weight. Being overweight stops some women from ovulating regularly and they ovulate on their own once they lose weight. After your scan 2 months ago, what did he recommend as the next line of action? Sorry that am asking too many questions, am just trying to gain insight that will help

My doctor gave me parlodel & tamoxifen because of d white discharge & also clomid for ovulation, but I wasn't monitored to know if clomid worked & I had no idea dt I have to be monitored.
As at Jan, I had to request for hormonal profile & d result showed dt my prolactin was very high & poor ovulation. He gave me Bromergon & injected me on cd13 for ovulation but unfornately, no bfp. As AF came in February I didn't go to my doctor as I decided to do tvs scan elsewhere to know what is happening in my body.

@fvine & Sugah, thank u very much for ur response. My cycle was irregular as a result of high prolactin but d past three cycles have been 29/30 days which is now regular. The cycles when I was on clomid, it was prescribed by my gynae as he said my cycle was anovulatory due to white discharge from my breasts. I did hormonal assay two months ago & my doc said I have poor ovulation.

God bless you fvine. I was going to say same thing. Did you do any scans prior to cd12? If no, then you don't have sufficient proof to rule the cycle anovulatory. You might have already released the eggs prior to your scan.
Next cycle you have to start your scan earlier say cd6,then from there the sonographer would tell you when to come for the next one depending on the size of follicles seen on that day.

CD12 is my first transvaginal scan, will start early in d next cycle. Thank u very much.

If u are sure that u are not ovulating try Clomid but ask your Gyna if it's okay for u. Other experienced mamas will tell u more, am new at this.

Good day mamas, I have done my transvaginal scan and all is well except that there are no follicles seen on both ovaries. This was done on cd12. Please what can I do to grow my follicles in order to ovulate?

Hi doctor, God bless u for helping us out here. I have taken clomid twice late last year, along with other drugs to balance my hormones because I had high prolactin. This is the first time I am doing follicumetry, though I took no hormonal drugs this cycle.

The uterus is non-gravid(not pregnant)

No follicle matured, hence no ovulation, no conception.

That aside, all is well in paradise.

Start on day 9 of your cycle. You are to be scheduled for 3 scans in all by the sonographer.
