Hello guys,

I have a 3 yr old son and I have been ttc for the past 4 months and still no BFP. I waited his long because I wanted to space my children. I normally have a 35 day cycle but for 2 months it increased to 43 and 41 days I thought I was pregnent only to see AF. I complained to my GP who asked me to run hormonal profile on day 21 alone because he was suspecting that I was having anovulatory cycles. Here is the result.
FSH - 23.1 (6.3. -24.0)
LH - 162.4
Prolactin - 18.3 (5 -35)
Progesterone 0.8 (0.25 -6.22)

The pathologist at the lab refused to comment because she Said I should have done a day 3 test as well. So she doesn't have enough information.


Please help me interpret the results.

Welcome to this thread and may ur stay here be very very short and fruitful. From ur result, ur progesterone hormone is low. Other mamas will come and interprete d results better.

Pls mama's I need some help,my first child is a little over 2yrs and we've been actively trying since after he clocked one but still no joy,I'd like to know what next to do,tests or meds I can take. Let me try to help. Visit a hospital where d doctor will ask u questions like ur menses cycle to ensure that they are regular and about ur flow. Then ur doc shud ascertain if u still leak milk from ur breast. Test that u can do on ur own is the hvs to check for infection, then a transvaginal scan to ensure all is well with ur womb. Depending on d answers u have ur doctor, u might need to do a hormonal profile test.
Ur dear hubby shud also run a sperm count test to check for infection and to ensure the count is ok, including morphology, motility e.t.c.
Don't have an idea of any good gynae in Ikeja. Other mamas will soon come to ur aid.

U are welcome here and may ur stay be very very short and fruitful. Amen. As for d fibroid, people conceive and give birth with it, though it depends on d position and ACV is a natural cure for fibroid. Other mamas will come and help u out.

Good day happy mamas. Been following this thread for a long time. I have been TTC for 15 cycles, would be glad to learn and receive encouragement from our sabi mamas.

Please help me interpret this scan result. Normal size uterus, irregular outline, normal endometrial thickness. Solid tissue mass 26mm, 21mm intramural in the anterior. Adnexae is free, pod is normal, left ovarian cyst, no retained product of conception.
