Things Fall Apart Run-Jonathan-Run Don't Trigger a Bloody Revolution Run-Jona-Run For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Imposition of leadership brought Yar Adua and Jonathan to power Neither men wants to be President at the time Neither men was qualified nor suitable to lead a Complex country; a nation Diverse and Divided as Nigeria Yar Adua never was our President as his health failed Yar Adua died in the middle of his term; may his gentle soul RIP The then Vice President Jonathan must now be made President But Jonathan wasn't fit to lead a village Our nations leadership is at risk You have heard power corrupts Jonathan became a Corrupt Monster His Regime is the worst and most corrupt in Nigeria's history Jonathan's sin is falling in love with power His downfall is his Love of money and his destruction is Pride You have heard; The love of money is the roots of all evil In the end it tears the hearts apart and brings much sorrow And it's a good saying; When Pride comes, disgrace follows Pride goes before destruction, arrogance and prideful before a fall And as for Jonathan; He is full of himself as he pounds himself in the chest He asked who shall bring me down He said to himself, no man shall stand up to his stature and his status. Who is mighty enough to stand up to Nigerian incumbent President No one But there's Change Change of heart Change in confidence Change in situations and circumstances Change in patriotism He forgot about the Broom A broom is good for sweeping the country of impurities, the impotent and the unproductive and the unwanted and the unfruitful out of a productivity arena. Broom is symbolic of a Nigeria Change And then there's the Dream Dreams of a better tomorrow Dreams of a new you and a new me Dreams in pursuit of happiness Dreams of a new Nigeria And Dreams do come true; andPLEASE don't wake me up Nigeria dared to dream So she dreams; she dreams big She dreams of employment She dreams of a country where everyone is somebody She dreams of opportunities for all She dreams of technological advancement She dreams of peace and security and stability in the country She dreams about some day Nigeria will feed herself She dreams about medical care She dreams about education and agriculture She dreams andPLEASE don't wake her up Change becomes inevitable Change Jonathan didn't see coming He has never been here before He ignored all warnings and assumed his bigger than life posture Jonathan neglects his Callings; the call on a life for higher service He felt invisible and claim to be Unbeatable; never can be defeated But then he forgot the Buhari factor; the most trusted man in Nigeria He disregarded the Obasanjo factor He forgot Tinubu; the Jagaban of Yoruba Land What a fool He took the Yoruba South West for a Fool He took the North for a Fool He took the South/East and South/South for granted What a fool He thought he could bypass the Oba of Benin He underestimated Amaechi; the Rotimi of Ijaw land He was blinded to the Change Movement The Emir of Kano, Emir Muhammad Sanusi reminds us; Your enemies will be made your footstool Now the humble has been exulted Sanusi Lamido Sanusi has been crowned Emir of Kano The fat cat now kneels before the lonely mouse The unelectable Buhari now leads at the polls Now the weak has been made strong and assumed power Now Jonathan is crippled with the same traps he sets to injure the Just Now he will be judged by the same yard stick he judged others Never had a Nigerian President been disgraced out of office But Jonathan has been reduced to a rubble, a thing to be hauled away, a happening which never materialized, a horror story awaiting an end, a nasty odor, a bad omen. The hunter is now being hunted The mighty eagle has lost his wings and now grounded The shark becomes toothless The big dog tucked it's tail The rabbit got too big for its hole The tensions are high The clouds are covered in blood now The air and the atmosphere is filled with smoke The shackles of intimidation and of frustration are broken andPLEASE don't mend it The train of Change is sweeping throughout Nigeria We love our country again We love Nigeria again The doors that has been opened cannot be close now The smoke generated can't be hid The joy uncovered can't be denied The Sweet experience can't be sower now The taste developed is already acquired We got our vision back We got our pride back We got our swag back Nigeria We got our confidence back The house that corruption build; with its foundation on sinking sand shall not stand Things Fall Apart Obasanjo withholds is support for PDP Jega insisted on Free and Fair Election; No cant rig Run-Jonathan-Run The heat is on The heat is on and hell never felt so close Bloody i'll gotten money never felt so wrong Billion Dollars Bank accounts never felt so bad Power never felt so weak Sleeplessness never felt so real Greed and pursuit of power is the shackles that traps Jonathan Jonathan found himself in shackles; brought down by his own pride, and corruption; crippled by the errors of his own ways; wounded by his own double sided sword; Dragged into his own hand dug gutter like a poor rat andPlease don't feel sorry for Jonathan; when you lie down with a dog; you will catch flees when you dance and tangle with a sconce; you will smell like feces and like crabs andPlease don't feel sorry for Jonathan; for his presidency has been an unmitigated bad luck infection for Nigeria This Infection has plagued our nation; by terror and by much poverty and corruption has his bad lucky rocked our nation and shaken the very foundation Nigeria is built on Run-Jona-Run You can run but you can't hide If you run to the mountains, the mountain will be boiling If you run to the valley, the valley will be flooding If you run to the caves, you will be smoked out Run to the outermost part; and hell will be awaiting Run to Otuoke; and you will be swimming with fishes Run to Kirikiri; and you'll be a deadman walking Run-Jona-Run Fani-Kayode has Sunken Jonathan’s Boat ride to Otuoke. Jonathan hired a useless, toothless Dragon for protection Show me your teeth Femi Fani-Kayode is full of hot air and he lacks substance Patience Jonathan locked the doors to Aso Rock on Jonathan and threw the keys into the deep sea. His days are numbered. Postponement of elections won't save Jonathan's regime. Cancellation and even annulment of elections won't save the day. Handing over to Interim National Government won't save you. Military takeover won't save you. What's Jonathan going to do now? Well Fani Kayode will run back to drugs. Patience will forever be silenced. Sambo will return to Sabo. Edwin Clark will crawl back into his hole. Tony Anenih will retire from his life long Election rigging. Dr Ekwueme will remain a Statesman. President Obasanjo will remain a Statesman and father of the nation; even though he imposed Yar Adua and Jonathan on us. General Babangida still gap toothed will remain a Statesman and Military savvy. Amaechi is Blooming. Tinubu is still the Jagaban and the ultimate King maker. Atiku is well and alive. And you Jonathan Your hands are caught in the cookie jar You're pictured robbing the Central Bank You abused my people Nigeria You abandoned your Calling You defy the Gods of Nigeria You rubbish the labor of our past heroes You promoted violence in Nigeria by rewarding thuggery Run-Jonathan-Run Run-Jona-Run

The wife of the President, Patience Jonathan, says the All Progressives Congress Presidential candidate, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) will send her to jail if he is elected. In a manner typical of a prayer session, Patience, at the Peoples Democratic Party rally in Ibadan, Oyo State, on Wednesday, invoked the ‘Holy ghost fire’ to consume PDP’s opponents. Patience also called on the crowd to vote for the PDP at the polls. Patience, who had earlier entertained the crowd of supporters by dancing to household music tracks such as ‘Kukere’ and ‘Personally,’ said the Goodluck Jonathan-led government was a lover of women and youths in the country and should, therefore, be encouraged to continue. She said, “I want to warn you not to listen to the All Progressives Congress. The APC does not have materials to match what the PDP has on (the) ground. Their candidate was there in governance initially. What did he do? They only sent your fathers to prison. “They are planning to even send me to prison. Holy Ghost fire! Holy Ghost fire! Holy Ghost fire! They have nothing to offer. They only say ‘I will’, ‘I will’. “A train is moving and it has now got to Oyo State. When we talk about train, some of you may have not seen a train before now. The last time a train moved in this country was when I was small and in primary school. “When my children were small, they asked me what a train was. I had to take them to London and we entered a train from London to Paris. But the PDP government has brought this back to Nigeria. If you want to see train working today, you don’t need to travel again.” The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Jumoke Akinjide, who spoke earlier, said Jonathan deserved to be re-elected because he gave women 35 per cent representation in his cabinet. She said, “I enjoin the women and youths of Oyo State to vote for our party on Saturday. I have seen a campaign advert by the APC in the newspapers saying ‘God give us men’. But our prayer in the PDP is different. We pray that God gives us men and women. “Jonathan is the first President in Nigeria to give women 35 per cent. Going by the National Conference report, the President has said that if women have 35 per cent, youths will also have 30 per cent. “I was looking at the list of the universities set up by this administration, and I saw that one of them was set up even in the hometown of his opponent – Gen. Buhari. I think that if Buhari could not set up a university in his own state, Jonathan has done it and, therefore, deserves to continue.” Other dignitaries at the event were the PDP governorship candidate in the state, Senator Teslim Folarin, his wife, Angela; wife of Ondo State Governor, Mrs. Kemi Mimiko, and the party’s senatorial candidates in Oyo State. I’m Not Ready To Feed Jonathan In Prison : Patience Jonathan The first Lady, Mrs. Patience Jonathan, has said she is not ready to feed her husband, President Goodluck Jonathan, in prison. The President’s wife, during a rally for the women’s wing of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in Ekiti State yesterday, said “What did they forget in Aso rock? If you vote PDP and Jonathan, it would be better for you. If you vote APC, you will go to prison. How can you jail somebody for 300 years? I’m not ready to carry food to my husband inside prison oh!” However, she continued by saying there was nothing wrong in a woman supporting her husband in office, but openly admitted that the Office of the First Lady, which she occupies, is illegal. “They said there is no Office of the First Lady. Already, we know that there is no Office of the First Lady but there is wife of the President.” “As (the) wife of the President, if you are good, people will love you. You will have a Non-Governmental Organization through which you will touch people’s lives. That is why I brought Women for Change Initiative.” While she was talking, women – both old and young – fought to have their share of the leftover of rice distributed by Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, during the last Christmas festival, packaged in small bags. The women were still struggling over the rice packaged in small bags when attention was diverted to another struggle for buckets presented by Senator Gbemi Saraki in commemoration of the October 16 inauguration of Fayose. In the struggle, which almost resulted in a stampede, many of the women got injured. Shoes, headgears, wigs and bags littered the floor while a woman was heard complaining to a friend that she lost her bangle. Security men had a hectic time controlling the surging women who engaged in a brawl. Mrs. Jonathan then in her usual mien, described APC as a poison, saying, “If you drink APC, you will die.” Accusing the party of having to change name several times, she said, “Since my father was born, they have been around changing from one name to another. Very soon they would answer Ebola. The name can’t change you; it is only performance that can change you. If you like change it 100 times.” “Nigerian women shine your eyes, don’t go for analogue, go for digital. PDP is digital, APC is analogue.” Gov. Fayose as well in his boisterous manner, used the opportunity to vent at former President Olusegun Obasanjo, saying his support for the APC presidential candidate, Maj. Gen. Muhamadu Buhari (retd.), would get him nowhere. “After Jonathan, the North can have their own eight years. Whether they like it or not, whether that our BaBa, you know him, whether he tore his card or not, whether he ate the card or not, Buhari is going nowhere,” he declared. “Goodluck is our own. He is coming back. I am carrying the madate of a people who believe in me. If they do elections here 20 times, I will win,” he boasted. Mrs. Jonathan said it was time for the women to pay back her husband for appointing several women into positions of authority. “This is the time to say thank you so that he will do more. Those people when they were there, they said we didn’t have brains. Jonathan came and lifted us from where we were lying helplessly.” She urged the women to collect their Permanent Voter Cards and vote massively for the president. “PDP is not a party that tells lies. Whatever we promise to do, we do. We are not a propagandist party. Ekiti women, your mother is here and I will not tell you lies, but the truth. “Nigerian women shine your eyes o! Vote with what you have seen, who you already know and who has performed. If anyone is telling you change, they are deceiving you. “These were people that when they were there before Goodluck Jonathan, they did not count you women as anything. But today, PDP has wiped away our tears. Jonathan has wiped off our tears. He has fulfilled his promise of giving women 35 per cent participation. He gave 16 seats to women out of 42 slots in his cabinet. He is a performer.” Speaking through the wife of the Ewi, Mrs. Abosede Adejugbe, the wives of the monarchs appealed to the President’s wife to extend the Subsidy Reinvestment and Empowerment Programme to Ekiti State fully. She assured her of total support in the coming general election. The wife of the Ewi also called on six other ‘oloris’ in addition to herself to pray for Mrs. Jonathan, describing seven as a powerful number |

If the Nigerian Military could achieve this in less than 6 weeks, then the Federal Government should explain to Nigerians why they sat in Abuja and watched Boko Haram kill innocent citizens for more than 4 years. Did they have to wait for the opposition to shake them a little before waking up? Lives were at stake. A lot of people died in circumstances that may have been averted if the Government was seriously engaged as it is now four years ago. Questions, questions, questions... no matter who becomes our President in May, 2015, these questions will continue to beg for answers, answers, answers. #WeDemandGoodGovernance. Adamawa Now Free of Boko Haram Terrorists — DHQ Nigerian troops on Thursday succeeded in clearing terrorists out of Madagali, the last major town held by Boko Haram terrorists in Nigeria’s Adamawa State. The Director Defence Information, Chris Olukolade, a Major General, who is on a tour of mission areas in the North-East, announced the development via a press statement. He said there were no casualties on the side of the Nigerian forces, which included the Army, the Airforce and other security agencies. He said mop-up operation is ongoing in the town. The ridding of Adamawa of terrorists is an extension of the string of successes the Nigerian troops have had since they commenced an extensive six-week anti-Boko Haram operation on February 14. The troops routed terrorists from different towns and communities in Adamawa, Borno, Yobe and Gombe, including Bara, the headquarter of Gulani Local Government Area of Yobe State, Gulak, the Headquarter of Madagali Local Government Area of Adamawa State. Other locations also cleared in the course of the operation, according to the military, include Shikah, Fikayel, Tetebah, Buza, Kamla and Bumsa. The troops also recovered Monguno, Marte, Gamboru Ngala, Dikwa and Baga among other big towns and communities. |

Ah... what great wisdom our forefathers possessed À ngba òròmọdìẹ lọ́wọ́ ikú Ó ní wọn ò jẹ́ kóun ràkìtàn lọ jẹ̀ ...The vulnerable little chick is being protected from imminent death But in ignorance it fiercely protests that it is being prevented From foraging on the garbage dump (where it would have surely been devoured by hawks) To those young internet warriors hauling repugnant insults at me and at one another Please learn to make your point without using abusive and foul language I shudder wondering... is this the character quality of our Nation's future? Kindly be civil in canvassing your opinions even when upset I implore you to please just examine the facts for your own future good Contrary to what some of you ignorantly imagine, and I say this with all respect and humility If we re-elect President Jonathan, I have much less to lose than you and your generation In fact I have an incredibly lot more to gain by shutting up and joining your oppressors Simply, It is evidently clear that President Jonathan is an unbelievable disappointment Incredible! ... So it is indeed possible to overpower Boko Haram So why did he not take this decisive action earlier? Why wait until election time? Why wait until he first postponed the elections? He said he underestimated Boko Haram But instead of vigorously confronting the menace at the onset He kept wasting precious time pointing accusing fingers at phantom detractors Did he now just realize his great error? After the terrorists repeatedly, gruesomely, massacred thousands of souls? ...Unbelievable! But wait Even more incredulous is the role of the citizenry Our docile mumurity gave him free reign Vigorously going around in circles, but achieving little... beyond Impunity... Corruption... Deception One of our biggest problems as a people Is our absolute worship of power and the powerful As if a person in power is God And we his governed citizens are worthless third class creatures Unless we change our mindset And understand the basic principles of democracy This retrogressive cycle would continue Even after the exit of President Jonathan You may not be rich But your well being is as important as theirs and their children's As a human being, you have rights As a citizen of Nigeria, you have rights While giving utmost respect to our leaders And acting with all sense of humility as dictated by our culture We should still demand and insist on justice and equity Your potentially glorious future is at stake As the rest of the world leaves you groveling far behind Scavenging for their leftover crumbs Undoubtedly, we the people are to blame for our woes The "leaders" have discovered that they can get away with anything... ANYTHING! Because of our docile mumurity as uncritical and comatose minions Because we never stand up to them and demand probity That is why one single man could drag the whole nation to this precipice Because we be MUMU The painful irony is that we think we are smart No... they know that behind all the noise... we be MUMU! That is why Obasanjo single handedly chose Yar'Adua and Jonathan And led us like sheep into this turmoil How blessed a nation we could have been Had he instead used his great cunning for the benefit of Nigeria The good things he did, his anointed successors destroyed Obasanjo used his own hands to destroy what he worked hard to build ... Sad testimony... Bad legacy... Sad autobiography President Jonathan's woeful failure is the true legacy of Obasanjo Are we wise enough to learn from this debacle? And vote President Jonathan out? And awaken to our citizen responsibilities? If we, the led, do not keep our leaders on their toes ...Even Buhari when he is elected... We would remain doomed by the consequences of their reckless impunity That has been proven by Obasanjo It has been confirmed by Jonathan Like many other citizens disappointed by Jonathan My vote is for Buhari and Osinbajo First as protest against Jonathan's inept leadership Then as fervent hope that providence would smile on our battered gasping nation It should be obvious to all now... You, like me, may be small But even the mightily powerful "big man" is mortal dust Food for worms ...No man is God! |
temitemi1:You Don watch that movie.. ... Lol |
