In the Islamic shariah, zakat is only for the eight groups of people mentioned in the verse below. However, you can extend charity (sadaqah) to individuals who are deserving or in state of need irrespective of faith or colour.

ZAKAT it is for these stated groups only



Surah At-Taubah, Verse 60:
إِنَّمَا الصَّدَقَاتُ لِلْفُقَرَاءِ وَالْمَسَاكِينِ وَالْعَامِلِينَ عَلَيْهَا وَالْمُؤَلَّفَةِ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَفِي الرِّقَابِ وَالْغَارِمِينَ وَفِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَابْنِ السَّبِيلِ فَرِيضَةً مِّنَ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ

As-Sadaqat (here it means Zakat) are only for the

1) Fuqara' (poor), and


2)Al-Masakin (the poor) and


3) those employed to collect (the funds); and

4)for to attract the hearts of those who have been inclined (towards Islam); and

5) to free the captives;


6) for those in debt; and


7) for Allah's Cause (i.e. for Mujahidun - those fighting in the holy wars), and


for the wayfarer (a traveller who is cut off from everything); a duty imposed by Allah. And Allah is All-Knower, All-Wise.

The Quran declares the supremacy of Isa Al-Mash in Qs 4:171 by not only calling Him the Word of Allah, but a
Spirit from Allah as well. Isa Al-Masih is the voice of Allah. He was chosen to declare the will of God to man on earth. As God thinks, so Isa speaks. And by the Spirit from Allah, He performed miracles that only God can perform.

From the virtues of science of nahw will be shown with the following:

There is a story about a Bedouin man who was leading salaah and he was reading suratut tawbah, when he got to;

(أَنَّ اللَّهَ بَرِىءٌ مِّنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ وَرَسُولُهُ)

.....that Allaah is free from obligations to the Mushrikin and so is His Messenger.

The man read the last word as rasoolihi instead of rasooluhu, which changed the meaning from "Allaah and his Messenger being free from the mushrikeen" to "Allaah being free from the mushrikeen and his Messenger" this was a grave mistake and the Bedouin instantly knew he had made a mistake thus he stopped his salaah...

This got to the ameer Ali ibn Abi taalib, then Ali ordered a man called Ad-duwali to write down the foundations of Arabic grammar because he was good in it and that was how nahw came about.....

Other such examples in the Quran that can cause problem is the following aayah:

(وَإِذِ ابْتَلَى إِبْرَهِيمَ رَبُّهُ بِكَلِماتٍ فَأَتَمَّهُنَّ)

..And (remember) when the Lord of Ibrahim tried him with (certain) Words, which he fulfilled..

If the harakah on the last letter in "Ibrahim" (meem) is interchanged with the "baa" in "rabbuhu" it becomes "Allaah being tried by Ibrahim" instead of "Ibrahim bring tried by Allaah"...

One more example:

(إِنَّمَا يَخْشَى اللَّهَ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ الْعُلَمَاءُ)

It is only those who have knowledge among His servants that fear Allaah...

If the fatha on the last letter in " Allaah " is interchanged with the harakah on the last letter in "ulamaa'u" is interchanged.... It will mean "Allaah fearing this knowledgeable words" instead of vice versa..

Some of the deviants from those who claim Allaah cannot talk tried to distort this aayah in suratun nisaa

وَكلَّمَ اللهُ موسَى تكليماً

To


وَكلَّمَ اللهَ موسَى تكليماً

Changing Allaahu to Allaaha which implies, Allaah did not speak to musa, rather musa spoke to him...


Nahw is important and you can't understand the Qur'an properly without knowing nahw...
