This is not what the Nigerian youths aught to be doing right now. They are to be seen as a tool for tasking the govt on good governance delivery. Unemployment rate is too high yet they are not taskin the govt on job creation.

wirinet: The last time we attempted a national conference, it was over shadowed by third term for Obasanjo. I hope this national conference will not be mainly about 2nd term for Jonathan or an extension of his first term.

A proper constitution conference cannot be rush. Ordinary preliminary ground works for the conference that was to take a couple of months have stretched several months. Some core areas of disputes such as derivation formula, resources control and power sharing formula would take years to negotiate.

Ordinary less than 10 items being negotiated by 2 parties - ASUU and FG took 6 months and almost led to "war " and you expect hundred of contentious issues by hundreds of tribes that make up Nigeria to take a few months.

And we have not considered the time all the proposals will spend in the national assembly. Some proposals have been in he national assembly since 1999. That is after going through the whole 36 state assemblies. Meanwhile president Jonathan does not have 2/3 majority support in the states and national assembly .

The bolded is one of the reason the national confab will have a little setback.

Atiku having been in power knows fully well that the APC cannot unseat an incumbent PDP. Atiku knows the turf very well and knows where his interest will be best served. The question however is whether the PDM is still as strong and formidable as it used to be to bother anybody. I doubt.

When we had the Cholera outbreak, it was this same
minister who in a non-chalant manner, took his time
to bring the issue under control. Till date, we dont
know the cause/source of the outbreak, how many
souls lost, how many are still affected and what
measure have been put in place to prevent future
occurence.
But put ‘food for chop’ on the table and he will be in
pole position.
I hope FG meet there demands as quickly as possible because it's a vital sector that shouldn't be joked with.

With the recent visit of buhari to ota-farm and defection of the G5 governors to apc which are core loyalist of obj. Working with apc is imminent, but obasanjo remains the last person that will defect from pdp to tinubu controlled party.

payless: Jonathan is an uncharismatic dofus of a president. He wouldn't have anyone around him if he wasn't the president or if there was no money in politics. He inspires nobody except the chest beating experts from the East and oil bandits from the creek. I can see Jonathan dying like Samuel Doe or incarcerated like Lawrence Gbagbo.

very correct . If you look critically from the left side you probably gonn see head of a horse, of which the frog in view head is serving as the nose/mouth of the horse.

Fining them alone wount solve the KPI issues, rather stern tasking them on good service delivery. Data and call connectivity standard here is soo not good, other countries have steped up to 4G/lite we r still scrambling to stabilize common Edge/3G with all the huge income this SP has been grappling from us.
