[quote author=Saraha1 post=27950557]@fearless, you can only have that dream job by erasing fear from your mind.
The only weapon which the devil knows how to use best is fear, so don't givein to such.

Pray and work towards it and am sure very soon you will be back on this thread with song of praises.
We all have our challenges, but what keeps us going is the fact that we have a father who does not slumber or sleep.
His hands is not too short .
[/quote.@ Saraha1, thank you for your prayer and words of encouragement.

Hi. I graduated in 2012, got married, had a son who is 1year+. I got a marketing job in Feb 2012 in a real estate firm. The salary is on commission basis (10%) of whatever you bring in for the month. It wasn't easy, you spend on transport, feeding and phone calls. And if in a month you are not able to sell any land you go home empty. I had to quit in September. I am presently looking for another job. I get scared that I might not be able to get a job because of my age (33). I get depressed and the thing that keeps me going is my son. I read stories on NL and I hear young graduates lament about not getting jobs even with 2.1 that makes me more worried. My prayer is that I get something soon. By the way, I graduated with a 2.1, geography and planning. May God see us through.

Good day all. Does anyone know any cafe in festac town that allows one to use their wifi to browse with phone. I tried updating my fone software but it's stopped updating, I tried again but the file was too large (990mb) as against d initial 191mb. The cafe I used had a problem with their server and it was slow. I have been asking around for a good cafe but no one seems to know. I can't register my mail on the fone, I also can't send mails unless I use the native browser of d fone. The fone is a BlackBerry q5. Pls anyone that knows a good cafe in festac, Pls help me. Sorry for the long epistle.

Thanks @ benzion72, psucc and victorakats. I really appreciate your kind words and encouragement. Sorry I have not been online for sometime so I wasn't able to reply. Like I said,I don't enjoy the job. I took up the job because I didn't want to stay at home and I didn't have an option. Apart from the fact that the job is stressful, there is no salary, only commission. you have to transport yourself going out to look for clients, feed, make calls and also take them to site. My husband also does not like the job. He says he doesn't like a job where I would be going up and down that I should get an office job.
N. B - I resigned on monday the 15th after taking out time to think about it. I am attending a computer class just to brush up my computer skills . Thank you.

My fellow Nairalanders, there is an issue that has been bugging me for some time and I need your advice. I graduated with a 2.1 in Georgaphy and Planning from one of the state universities in 2012. I got married that same year and became pregnant almost immediately. I had my son in 2013 and I started searching for jobs. I got one as a marketer in a real estate company in feb 2014. The issue now is that I am not fulfilled. Going to work is not fun to me. I got fed up months ago but I was still going just because I don't want to stay at home. I am restricted when applying for jobs due to my age (33). I have made up my mind to resign this month. I want to work to get experience and also go into business later. I get depressed sometimes because I know am not the lazy type but things are not working out. Am at home today because my son is sick but to be honest , I don't feel am missing anything by not going to work because I don't enjoy the job. Please advice me on the next step. What are my chances of getting a good job considering my age and lack of experience? Sorry for the long epistle.

Hello mummies. I trust ur LO's are doing great. My 5 months old son has not started sitting well. I don't know if there is any other method I can use to make him sit without falling to the sides. I introduced pap at 4 months but he still doesn't like taking it but prefers breast milk. Feeding him is a challenge cos of his crying. My sis told me to sing to him when I feed him, it works for a few minutes then he starts crying. Also when is the right age to start feeding baby fruit smooties? Thank u.

Good day mummies in d house. My 5 month old boy's temperature went up on thursday and I was told that it was because he was teething, I gave him pcm and his temp went down . It continued all thru friday n saturday and I was giving pcm every 6hrs. His temp returned 2 normal on sunday , only for rashes to come all over him from head to toe. I also notice that his drooling has reduced drastically. I don't knw if anyone has experienced this and any advice is welcome. Thanks.
HealthRe: Life After A CS Delivery Is So Challenging? by fearless07(f): 1:54pm On Oct 27, 2013
I had my son via cs in may.I was past my due date without any sign of labour. I had to b induced and i still did not go into labour. I had to b operated on at 42 weeks cos my baby's fetal heart rate went up. I wasn't happy cos I was looking forward to a v birth but I look at my son and am happy. The experience wasn't that bad. I ddnt feel any pain immediately after d operation cos of the epidural but d real pain started d next day. I was given pain meds and antibiotics plus some other drugs. The post - op care was excellent. My scar is just a straight neat line, Tommy is almost flat.
I wld like to know how soon one can get pregnant after a cs? I wld want to try a vbac.

Hello mummies in the house? Hp ur LOs are doing great? I asked a question some time ago if it was necessary to continue 2 bath baby d traditional way with all d twisting and all. My son is 4mths and 2 wks old. My MIL said so and she said she wld b coming 2 help with bathing d baby. She comes in d evening thrice a week and those times are hell 4 my son cos he cries a lot and starts making a funny sound. I v never seen him cry like that and I get scared for him. My mum stayed 4 3mths and said I shld bath d normal way that she has done all. I am at my wits end . I ask again is this twisting and gymnastics necessary 4 a 4mths old baby and of what benefit is it cos I feel his bones r getting stronger hence d cryinghuh?
Sorry 4 d long epistle cry

@ swtme, I just read where u said u did CS. I also gave birth to my son via CS. My dr had to do that cos I ddnt go into labour and d hospital policy is dat after 41wks+ 3days, they induce if one doesn't go into labour. Induction no work. I ddnt feel a thing when I was induced. I had d CS at 42wks on d dot. I want to knw what u did to make ur tommy go down? Mine is still big and am a bit self conscious of it. Thanks.

Hello mummies in the house. Hope ur lo's are doing great? . My son would b 4 months old by the end of this month and I have a question I want to ask. My mum stayed with me for 3 months cos that's how long she said she would stay for first delivery. After she left I bath d baby d normal way and massage his body at night. My MIL visited yesterday and was saying I should still b bathing my baby d traditional way ( twisting and gymnastics grin). I felt my mum has done all dat. My question is, is it still necessary bathing baby this way, cos I don't know how to twist grin) sorry 4 d long epistle.

Hello mummies in the house?, hope u all are doing great?. I EBF my son who is 3 months old. He poops normally but for 2 days now he has not pooped. I tried giving him water this morning to see if it would help but he rejected it and was crying, so I had to breastfeed him. What can I do to make him poop?
