Many people don't seem to understand the root cause of our problems, as the FG feeding the state directly power is far from the people, the primary focus on governance should be the local government, then state before the federal government because the local council is closest to the people. I even I have blueprint on how the local government can change Nigeria.
For instance if each local government decide to provide modern farming equipment and too to hire to farmers for a small fee, then provide storage facilities for storage of perishable goods like chicken, tomatoes, vegetables etc. What if local government decide to keep their local government area clean by sweeping sand and dirt of the road, clean drainage and waste for small fee, it will create employment also. What if local government decide to repair maintain street lights provided state government and other intervention bodies. The list is endless.
I tell people close to me exactly this all the time... That's why I don't have any preferred presidential candidate... Cus I dont beleive they can do much for the people ... It's only election time you see them

We mostly looking in the opposite direction... Local governments see more problems the people are facing more... But it been neglected by the people which only look to the president... State are collecting allocation what are they doing with the funds... If the funds is too small why are governors not complaining

Why do you think it was far fetched when it was achieved before during the regional government. It can be achieved, easy money leads to the corruption we facing. It was done before and it can be achieved again, do not be deceive the word north or south, the only problem we have is a united politicians who are looking for easy money to steal.

Buhari is spending almost 8years and he only reads a note on every independence and democracy day to us. Just imagine.
Tinubu is following the same pattern and you dont want to speak out.
How long are we going to continue to be slave them?
When are we going to be electing leaders that accountable to us?
How long are we going to continue to sacrifice competence and capability to tribalism?
Please if u are not tired of the state of the nation, I'm tired.

Are you for real? How many years is Abuja as Federal capital 28! Look at how it has developed. Do you know how many institution both national and international that based on Lagos, some refused to go Abuja. Do you know how many dividends this federal capital yield to Lagos? Look at Ogun state is it not Lagos that is promoting Ogun State. The structure is there already. All most all the companies have their head office in Lagos.

In terms of Obi administration and that Tinibu, you can't compare the both, Obi beat Tinibu hands down in all ramifications. You can't doubt that.
All these are just excuses...
After lagos I guess its Anambra... Any new company wanting to expand after lagos do you think ANAMBRA is the next ...

within 4 years, it can be fixed but the president would have to be brutal and step on toes....

You see all those looted funds ehn.... he would get them back and fix things.

But you know how Nigeria Politics is, corrupt politicians under a running party can never be castigated or prosecuted.

Imagine there is execution order/law for any corrupt leaders....
Did China become the second largest economy within 10 years ... Did you how long it took united state to become what it is today...
Even Dubai takes over 20years with appropriate use of fund... You will get dissappointed I tell you... Fix Nigeria in 4years is a very big joke... Even with those fund not being embezzled ... It not enough for 200m people .... Nigeria only collecting taxes from 13m out of over 100m ...
Nigeria can't be in four years ...

Anambra can't compete with Lagos currently because Lagos has been Federal capital for 78 years, with the only sea port in Nigeria,
never destroyed during the Nigerian Civil war etc. Anambra is 29 years old, was destroyed during the Nigerian Civil war, was built with £20 after the war, never been a federal capital even for one day, experienced her first indigenous governor in 1999/2000. How do you expect both to be at the same rate!
I saviour was there for 8 years 2006 to 2014... And again compare the development from 1999 till now ... At least that time it wasn't a capital...

Peter Obi’s $12.24million Investments As Anambra Governor Now Worthless – Governor Soludo

November 10, 2022

Soludo said he was not aware of any investment in the state by any of his predecessors.

The Anambra State Governor, Charles Soludo, on Thursday said the purported investment of the sum of N1,955,535,247.00 (an equivalent of approximately $12,616,356.43 at the then average CBN exchange rate of N155.00/$1) by one of his predecessors in office, Peter Obi, is worth next to nothing.

Obi is the presidential candidate of the Labour Party.

Before clinching the party’s ticket, he governed Anambra State from 2006 to 2014.

He had invested millions of dollars in International Breweries on behalf of Anambra State as a governor.

International Breweries (IB) Plc is a subsidiary of the world’s largest brewer, Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev) — a multinational drink and brewing giant based in Leuven, Belgium.

Speaking during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Thursday, Soludo said he was not aware of any investment in the state by any of his predecessors.

“I think there was something I read about somebody speculating about whatever investment. With what I’ve seen today, the value of those investments is worth next to nothing. So, let’s leave that aside,” the governor said.

He added, “We are handing out employment letters to more than 5,000 teachers to end an era of schools without teachers.

“We are going to have 240 plus doctors and consultants to man our general hospitals, so if you look at the five fingers approach of our programmes; we designed our budget to keep our eyes on the ball.”

Hope you will not run away like others who support Tinibu! I noticed that when people ask you people about Tinubu's project for eight years as Lagos State governor, you people will run away. If Tinibu had done half of what Obi did in Anambra state Lagos will be competing with Johannesburg, Cape Town and Nairobi
ANAMBRA or Lagos which of the developments would you prefer since 1999
