If you reject it, you will die in your sin nature which leads to Hell but if you accept His free gift of Salvation, He will cloth you with His own righteousness that qualifies you for eternal life in heaven.

John 3:16 is the Gospel "For God so love the world that He gave His only begotten son. That whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have Eternal Life".

That is the Gospel.. The good news we are asked to preach to a fallen world. Its all about Christ Jesus.
