Dear Compatriots,
I greet and felicitate with you all as we celebrate Easter
which commemorates the resurrection of our Lord, Jesus
Christ after his redemptive self-sacrifice for the eternal
salvation of mankind.
Irrespective of our religion or faith, all holidays provide us
with a fresh opportunity to establish stronger bonds with
our family, friends and all those around us for more
enduring, harmonious and beneficial relationships.
As we celebrate this year’s Easter therefore, I urge all
Nigerians to rededicate themselves to living in peace and
oneness with all members of their communities no matter
their ethnicity, religious beliefs or places of origin.
By now, it ought to be an accepted fact amongst us that
our immense potential for greatness in the comity of
nations derives in the main from our collective strength as
a country of close to 170 million people and the
acclaimed richness of our diverse human resources and
natural endowments.
It follows, therefore, that to successfully achieve our vision
of becoming one of the most dominant nations on the
global stage in the shortest possible time, we must stay
together as a people and continue to effectively resist by
all possible means, the evil machinations of global
terrorists and their misguided domestic accomplices who
seek to provoke turmoil, hatred and harmful divisions
among us.
I assure all Nigerians that our security agencies, armed
forces and I will continue to fully discharge our
constitutional responsibilities for protecting the unity and
territorial integrity of this country with all the powers and
forces at our disposal.
We must have peace, security and stability to effectively
implement our agenda for national transformation in all
parts of the country and we shall continue to work
ceaselessly to re-establish the prerequisite conditions for
nationwide progress and development.
For your part, dear countrymen and women, I urge you to
continue to exhibit restraint and understanding in the face
of seeming provocations. Those who mindlessly and
indiscriminately attack churches, schools, health workers,
motor-parks, banks and ordinary road users must be seen
as they truly are: the brainwashed pawns of international
terrorism.
They do not represent any true religion or section of the
country and we must never play into their hands by
succumbing to their nefarious ploys to incite religious,
ethnic hatred and division among us.
It is my hope and prayer that as we celebrate the glorious
resurrection of our Saviour, Jesus Christ, his lessons of
self-sacrifice, brotherly love, placing others before self,
tolerance, obedience, respect for lawful authorities,
dutifulness, diligence, honesty, justice and fairness to all
will take firmer root in our beloved country and help us to
overcome present challenges and build the more
peaceful, secure, united, progressive and prosperous
nation of our dreams.

The singer recently shot the music video for her hit single ‘I wish’. directed by Clarence Peters. The video explores Waje’s deep emotional core with themed scenes never been done before on Nigerian TV.

One of our reporters (name withheld) met the shock of his life few days back at the Elegushi beach, Victoria Island Lagos while chatting with the lady .

To his disbelief the 26 years old lady who identified herself as Ella, boldly told our reporter that she loves séx so much so that she enjoys it more than real food.

According to the lady whose I'd Card revealed that she is a marketer with one of the new generation banks, she likes coming to the beach side which is very close her house, every evening to chill out and 'most importantly get laid'.

Nearly two years after their talk of the town wedding, Nollywood super star Chinedu Ikedieze famously known as Aki and his amiable wife Nneoma, wowed many, especially his teeming fans with what could be described as their first public appearance.

The rare public appearance was at Bovi’s Man on Fire Comedy Show, which held recently on the Island.

Photographer spotted the love struck couple walking in hand in hand at the Eko Hotels venue of the comedy show that was hugely attended.

In fact, Mr. and Mrs. Ikedieze played the perfect Romeo and Juliet in the full glare of the public as they didn’t leave each other’s sight throughout the period the show lasted.

The couple’s public display of affection for each was very obvious on the red carpet with Aki pampering and treating his jewel like the real queen that she is.

The famous entertainer was swathed in a blue denim atop a white shirt that equally complemented his black pair of shoes. While his sweetheart, opted for a knee length white knicker on a flowery gray top that fitted her sexy shape.

From the look of things at the venue, it was obvious the couple thoroughly enjoyed themselves while the show lasted.

Meanwhile, what many thought was a mirage became reality in late 2011 when the actor wedded Nneoma, his angel of over two years.

The much talked about nuptial climaxed with a star- studded and glamorous wedding reception in Lagos, after a traditional union that earlier held in Mbano,Imo State .

Caroline Sam, now known as Maheeda was raised an orphan and hit the streets at the young age of 13. With no one to take care of her she turned to prostitution but has since given her life to Christ. The married mother of one opened up about her past life to The Sun News:

Yeah, I was a prostitute and I’m not ashamed to say it. It’s past tense and we all have our past. The beauty of it is that if Christ has done something in your life and you can’t say it, what is the need? I think I went through all that so I can really speak out. I have been through all that so I can speak, talk to the girls who are still into it and make myself an example. Although, it’s not nice for people to hear and it’s not something to be proud of but for the sake of those prostitutes outsides, I have to say it.

At what point did you decide to stop prostitution and what made you stop?
That’s actually a very good question because even after getting married I still have this urge of going out to meet a man. But I felt it should not be so. I’m trying to let people know there is a spirit behind prostitution, if not, why after getting married, I have everything, I live in Lekki, I’m driving a very big car and my husband gives me whatever I want, so why would I still feel like going into prostitution? There is a spirit behind it. I continued prostitution even after getting married. The only thing that changed me was being born again and being delivered.

That means you kept long list of men while you were doing secular music?
Yeah. I was so bad that if I had this boy friend and he messed up I just moved to the next one. That was basically why I did the track, Oko Yapa (husbands are numerous). They were not given me money so if you messed up I moved to the next because there were many of them.

It means you have a very high libido that if this guy is not getting it right you try the next one?
(Laughter) Oh my God. Is that the truth? No o! I think I was just bad that I used to judge them at every slight mistake. I was bad that if I was with my boyfriend and I saw a fine boy, I would still make passes at him. The devil makes us think it’s in our nature but its not so.

Some say you changed your way because you got married?
That is not true. My husband is white and you know white people support their wives. My husband said he didn’t want to be involved in my career and I should also keep his daughter out of it. I was actually praying for it before he said it. My husband has been very supportive for years; he took me to South Africa to shoot my first video. He has spent millions on my career.

How long have you been married and how many kids do you have together?
We have been married for about two years but there’s no child yet. I had my daughter before I met him but he adopted my daughter.

How did you both meet and what is keeping you from having children for him?
I met him in Port Harcourt eleven years ago; we have been together before my music. We are waiting on the Lord for children.
