Back in Uniben, I had a roommate in the hostel.
She was from a very rich family and believe me, this babe no sabi anything. Infact, They rented a house off campus for her but she still cleared her free hostel bed space because she said she was determined to experience people and learn about life away from the comfort of her rich home.

Well we get evidence that this is not the case at all. Last year during her own set she got love and acceptance from everybody. She wasn't treated differently. Even though I didn't watch her set, you could see the outpouring of genuine love on the day she was evicted.


You can carry yourself however you like, the truth is when people do not like you then they don't like you. People don't need a reason to hate, get this. Or to mistreat someone. Once the opportunity present itself they will show their true vile selves.

The opportunity that presented itself in baye's situation is that she simply does not belong to their circle. That and also the fact they knew she had few fans. Coming into the show, Baye was not all star in the real sense. She is the youngest in age, in accomplishments, in every thing. During her own set she wasn't anything special, and every housemate knew this. This is why they treated her differently.


Baye's only offence is that at the beginning of the show, she refused to accept the defeatist role they had given her. She refused to bend down and take it gently up her ass, she refused to lie down and be trampled upon. She had guts and fought, fought battles that even doyin, who we know to be quite vocal, was shying away from fighting. (Doyin would go to the diary room and cry always of hating this place) It did not matter how often she needed to fight, she fought, she is still fighting even with the limitations of her two strikes and they despise her for this.

How would you handle this situation….my neighbour was having her birthday party which she invited a couple of people, I didn’t know it was her birthday until I saw cars parked in front of our house. Now she sent her daughter to bring food for me and the kids, I feel like if she doesn’t want me to be aware of her birthday why would she bring me food.

1. Don't get offended that you were not invited to her party. She has a right to invite whosoever to her party. Her reasons are hers - respect it. It does appear you are feeling entitled.

2. If you want to trash her food because of trust issues, understandable; but don't let her know. Wash the plate n thank her for her kindness.
If it is because she didn't invite you to her party, then you are wrong. It is better to politely reject the food - which in turn will lead to more unnecessary conflicts.

3. Remain a good neighbour n don't deviate from your usual friendliness.

4. Don't read meanings into neighbours actions or behaviour. If you are so troubled n disturbed about not being invited, it means your expectations are wrong. But then, ask politely that she should have let you know she was celebrating something so you can send her a gift or a contribution - n hopefully, this will trigger an explanation on why you weren't invited.

5. Do not interpret or take people's actions personally unless you've had a direct experience from the same source.

The 1st 2 paragraphs of my response was in good faith n I mean't every word of it. It is worth looking into. There are too many ailments people carry n are unaware of in these times.

Sharing info on eviction became boring for me so I stopped. (Occasionally I share info privately though). Also I enjoy reading 3bear's early ambiguities that help his artful dodges when his guesstimates fall flat - they trip me 😊. The guy is so creative, in dodging blames that is.
