MultiChoice confirmed that 1.5billion votes were cast (a record) for the finals. Since Ilebaye got 30%, that is 450million votes. This means Mercy got a little over 345million votes. So Ilebaye dusted Mercy by over 105m votes. The 6.8% difference therefore, is a very significant number. It smashed both Laycon n WhiteMoney's numbers between them n their seconds. Baye tribe - take a bow. This is your making. Those beefing that the difference is insignificant are as ignorant as they come. Baye's winning numbers is a smasheroo. A technical knockout n bloody nose to the runner up. The %age difference is indeed a phenomenal one. 13 Likes 1 Share |

Giel: Weakest fan base? Nope. It's the contrary. Baye tribe were up against very 'heavy' fandoms yet, they prevailed. Actually Baye tribe is the strongest, most resilient, very determined, never-say-never fandom. Second, the margin of win is very remarkable n should be celebrated because * this is a season of ALL STARS - not newbies * HMs came with readymade fandoms * HMs were experienced n exposed BBN participants * Runners-up were very formidable competitors with formidable fan bases. That Baye tribe was able to arise (that word again 😀) n consistently dominate the others for weeks shows they deserve all the accolades. To all Baye tribe - you guys should take a bow. You did it despite the heavyweights. Your consistency n resilience would be studied n analysed for years. I trust that Ilebaye would be very grateful for having us back her ( her mother showed that) - just as we are proud of having her as our fave. Now, Ilebaye can confidently posit that she has her own people. Smashing a 4m strong mercenaries by 6% is no mean feat - especially by a 'motley crowd of arisers' is akin to having a David go against a Goliath. So yes, I'm proud that we gave mercenaries and Spartans bloody noses n earned our place in the annals of BBN journal entries. It is no wonder that they are still bitching over the disgraceful defeat n can't seem to get over it. All manner of stories are being peddled on why Baye won. Thing is, since they know why, why didn't they use their strength to get their faves the crown? A dead lion...is dead. No amount of grammar can reverse the loss. It is the era of the Eagle!!! She was unveiled last Sunday. All the cackling from the (worn-out) fowls cannot stop her from soaring. Cheers 9 Likes 2 Shares |

Congratulations BAYE TRIBE. We did it. You guys are the best. Your commitment, resilience n belief in project Baye is second to none. And now that the Eagle has been unveiled, we wish her all the best n more laurels. It's been great n a privilege to be counted as one of the organic n greatest fandoms in BBN history. You guys are history makers. To other fandoms....better luck next time. This was an epoch ride for me. I'm signing off. God bless everyone 10 Likes |

safarigirl: Mercy is actually using reverse psychology to toast n capture Pere's heart. And the guy is falling for it big time. It's an old trick to get a love interest by feigning a wrong or a personal mess up. It works everytime when used at the correct time. Pere wants Mercy - guy is bloody Hot n is saying everything to put Mercy at ease. I suspect the guy just wanna get the lady on the sheets n is willing to accept anything to achieve the goal. vicdom: Don't believe this. Phyna bought her father a new car. This post is not from Phyna's Poppa but from a troll just to embarrass her. As for Baye, she comes from a well to do family n wants to prove that she's old enough to run her life. Her parents are not interested in her money but rooting for their daughter to succeed in her journey to standing alone. Most of her life, Baye had lived a very sheltered life. 3 Likes |

Ladyhippolyta88: Don't stress over such info. Even if they bribe Baye's team to leave her, we won't. And we are the ones that matter. The team doesn't control us n never can. The WhiteMoney's narrative (which I don't believe anyway) cannot play out because BayeTribe is all over the country n also outside. Just think, how will they stop us from voting Baye? Just how? Put a gun to our heads? In our various locations? It's a ridiculous n laughable idea. That's why when WM said the same, I questioned his intellect. Please chill n don't put any value on such inanity. No matter the narrative, Baye is winning - that's all that matters. Blessings 12 Likes |

JUDGEJUDITH: If people knew she's from a rich family, even if she dresses rags, they'll still gravitate towards her n make friends. It speaks greatly about her persona that despite her privileged background, she didn't make mention of it n rather took all the abuses, etc in her stride. Her diary session last week, she had told Biggie about how pained she felt when a school mate said she cannot be anything except she depends on her dad - n she's usually emotional if anyone or any act reminds her of that statement. (Biggie had to reassure her of her independence by her Supa Komando n HoH wins). This spoke volumes. It does mean that Baye WANTS TO BE SEEN as being independent n capable of handling her own n not because her family is rich. Kidd ain't like that. He proudly lets you know that his father is rich n is arrogant about it. It is no wonder that his personal business forays failed - he's simply bereft of business sense. But I digress. Baye Is a rich kid. Even spoilt. It's no wonder (albeit, saddening) that she cannot cook or wash clothes - she's not raised that way. There are many like her. She had once said (outside the Big brother's house) that her father didn't allow her to really go out n mix with folks. The BBN forum is affording her the experience n exposure of getting to know people n their varied nuances. I doff my hat to her because she's willing to learn. Accepts (often malicious n wicked) rebukes, though painful, as a way of getting along in the society. I doubt she knows that rich or poor, people can be patently wicked n for unfathomable reasons too. She's not like Angel who grew up hard n not trusting anyone. Though their backgrounds are polar opposites, yet they have similarities as society, mainly run by generations of baby boomers, X n Y - tend to confuse them n make them suspicious because of conflicting behaviours. The millennials who should really understand the Gen Z see the X n Ys as models, n this adds to their mistrust. All in all, it's a good thing Baye is on the programme. She's shown signs of being a rugged fighter n fast learner despite the very 'unfavourable' environment. She'll do well. That she will win the show will greatly boost her self confidence n add a Filip to her focus. And the world loves a winner - no matter the narratives of the wicked - especially one that trounces the competition in an apparently unfair contest where the odds are stacked against the underdog. That's why many celebs n (I'm sure) Organisations are queuing up to welcome n steer her to a new n glorious experience. I'm not troubled about the other HMs who have been bad mouthing her. They will fall in line (even if reluctantly or shamefacedly) n give her the necessary support inorder not to be seen as bad bellicks - I'm not too sure about Ceec though. It's no wonder that White Money n Doyin are solidly (?) backing the 'tyrant' 😊. Soma n Angel are (not surprisingly) backing her now they are out. As the saying goes: Nobody cares about your story until you win. So win, Baye must. And will. 🏃🏃Back to the voting blocs... 19 Likes |

Kachidubem: Exchanging $1 to ₦980 will most likely require physical meeting - as, the Bank may not give you that rate - if the transaction is heavy. It is still possible to make that kind of heavy deal via online with your trusted dealer. But Pls note that security agencies are equipped to monitor n flag exchanges above 'official' limits. 1 Like 2 Shares |

Kachidubem: It is obvious you don't do forex transactions. Your ignorance is understandable. Perhaps you are thinking of heavy transactions being flagged for EFCC follow up. This is possible but not usually done. Alternate (outside banking hall) Forex transactions is usually run n controlled by a syndicate with influence that cuts across the CBN n the security agencies. Amya: Her win will not be tainted. No matter what you'd have us believe, you are de campaigning her - n one can see right through your bile. Even Ike had a turnaround, saw her good points n regretted his acts. Thing is, no one person is without flaws. What I see here is a Tinubu leading a charge against drug peddling with every passion n when the klieglights are off, goes back to dealing on the same. Accusations from Ceec mean nothing because they come from a bitter heart. Ceec has not hidden her disdain for Baye despite a show of being nice. I choose to listen to Omashola's comments on Baye. And Pere, Ike, Adekunle, Uriel, Doyin, Prince, etc. Many celebs are also rooting for her. From the 1st week Mercy n Ceec were not happy with the presence of Baye - as she's not 'up to their standard' - whatever that means. True class folks are humble n are welcoming. It is only unexposed nouveau riche that put on airs. A lot of narrative has been spun to discredit a human being just because she's fought (you read that correctly)to be where she is today. Thankfully, a lot of folks do not agree with these evil reports n see them for what they are - malicious n patently evil. Slanders like this are protected because this is a faceless forum. (Eeghe doesn't like Baye, but she's been quite real about Baye's effort). Of course, people are different. But whatever. One thing is sure. ILEBAYE IS WINNING. That is all that matters. Whatever she does with her win is left to her. Hate her all you like, it will change nothing. We that love her still will. Your attempt to diss Baye by attributing her holding on to a cowrie shell (received from her late brother) as fetish, is in my opinion, rather unfortunate. You've instead indirectly denigrated our traditional practices while trying to sound righteous. Does ur Christianity encourage cussing folks because of your perception of what their beliefs are? No matter. To everyone his own. Someone raised in a turkey farm will very likely see an eagle as just another turkey. And the mistake is to treat it as one. And that is the problem of Ceec et al. And a lot many naysayers. An eagle is no turkey. It can never belong to a gathering of fowls. It will always stand out!!! Neither can it be stopped from soaring to the heights no matter how hated it is among the birds. Baye STANDS OUT. To the chagrin of the wicked. That's why attention is on her daily. 8pm is a few hours away. And 8 days later, we shall celebrate the 'unveiling' of the majestic eagle - despite the cackling of fowls n their handlers. Baye. The real deal. Ain't no stopping her now. 18 Likes |
