Tatiana4u:Ebuka caused all this insults n I'm very much pissed. These HMs should just nominate Baye, Ceec, Mercy, Angel n Adekunle 2moro - & they'll get the greatest shock of their life especially about Baye's strength. I can hardly wait for 2moro to come so I can pour my heart into voting Baye more than I've ever voted in any season. Wicked people. |
tonididdy:His fans...many of them are with Ilebaye. WM is made already. It is time for an underdog to become a star. And the underdog is Ilebaye. |
kowema:Oh, I didn't know that...hmmm. Thanks for the info. And to think she's got so much angst against the Baddest And Youthful Eagle? There's no comparing a turkey to an eagle na... Baye. Soars higher than them all. Everytime. |
DOptical:You are one sure proof of her entertainment value - You are still on about her, far more than your fave. If Baye is nothing, you'd ignore her n project your fave more. Simply, Baye is the topic. Nothing else matters. Cheers |
Sanqa:Many WM fans are rooting for Ilebaye this season. And this season is Ilebaye's - no matter the postulations. |
fitzmayowa:Oh. It was a snide remark. Thanks for the clarification. |
Giel:Actually, she ain't. She's tops. Again. |
Giel:Alex's help in shoring up Baye n being there for her can not be denied. In the house, Alex takes the credit for being her backbone - nobody else. Baye also gets a thumbs up for her composure in the face of relentless n wicked mental taunts n torture. When Baye breasts the tape first at the finals, Alex deserves to share n bask in her glorious moment - as the big sister she's truly been. No one n nothing can take that away. Blessings |

DGOODLYF:We know her to be: Brave... Affable...Young... Ernest HMs find her: Beguiling...Auspicious...Yum... Empathetic She is none other but the Beautiful, Adorable, Youthful n Enigmatic B. A. Y. E. - Our Love!!! ![]() BackToTheVotingBlocs |

DOptical:That's the kind of people I love...straight, flat assed eyesore. God bless the production team for inviting her Baye. The difference. |
Godoverevery:[b] Bill Gates doesn't dress expensively. Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook wears the same T-shirt regularly. Peter Obi of Labour party dresses modestly n his clothes are made by local tailors. You wanna know how they're addressed world wide? Don't let such quotes/euphemisms fool you. They don't work for everyone. Because a peacock is very fine doesn't make it an eagle. And it is a mistake to treat an eagle like a turkey. Baye. ₦120m. That's all that matters. |
Ladyhippolyta88:Well said. 2. No fanbase is solid. Fans identify with varied HMs across the seasons. Reason why one fan can be a Spartan in DW, Titan in PD, Ozone in LD, archangel in SYE, etc. Fans are simply humans. Humans are fluid n their behaviour are majorly determined by situations. 3. Ilebaye has (n is getting) herself an army of people who identify with her situation/predicament. Add to this a new (Gen Z) generation that were underage during DW n PD, but have come of age - these are majorly identifying with one of their own, which, in this case is Baye. 4. The proof of her strength is in the fact that she remains the most talked about - both in n outside the house. She trends daily. Compare that to, for example, Neo who likes to show himself as fly n swags (though his senses, like Cross, are situated between his legs) but commands no buzz among the viewers. 5. Your stand is sure. Hold on to it. Baye is the Competition. Focal point. New beginning Star among all the stars. It is why she's been consistently performing high over the voting weeks she was in. 6. Keep pumping the votes. Ignore the naysayers (many are spouting out of fear). Avoid the distractions couched as informed analysis (but are just hot air). Of the 3 that would likely leave on Sunday, our Baye will not be among. That is why she remains the Baddie Attention Yardstick Enigma Baye. The true one. Back to the voting blocs... Blessings |
Psychedelia:At the garden toilet, Neo had asked Venita if she loved Ade n she answered, yes. That then made Neo to go speak with Ade on the need to reconcile. Adekunle n Venita are in love. And the actions of love defy logic/reasoning n what matters is that the actors are happy with themselves. Nothing else. The test of their love will start outside Biggie's house. For now, Islanders should accept their guy as is n be cool |
beerfraud:He didn't have to. The minimum qualifications required is Wasc. If his attendance at UNN was fake, even Reno would have said so - but here, he's just trying to distract. Btw, APC would have used that. The UNN's VC last year confirmed that Peter Obi attended the institution. Reno Omokri is a rabble rouser who is not happy that PO left the PDP to run rather than being Atiku's deputy. It's also interesting that he talks more about PO than Atiku n BAT together |
Threebear:The irony... from a fellow bandwagoner |
scondy:Er, I was in Ike's gang in PD season, supported Dorathy with my full chest in LD, liked Groovy in LU (but didn't vote throughout). But then, it's interesting to note that supporting a winner makes one a band wagoner ![]() I look forward to wearing the badge BW proudly when Ilebaye takes the crown - thanks to you kind anti-Ilebaye influencers of repute ![]() (I hope this my (revised) English merits your approval )Blessings |
fitzmayowa:Actually, it is a sociological fact that people talk mostly about those more popular than them. (This also applies to status, social standing, success, intelligence, out-of-the-norm behaviour, etc.) It's the reason one hardly finds the rich talk about the poor, or the celebs about the 'lesser'. This truism is what is playing out in the house...and, amusingly, on nairaland. For this season, Ilebaye is (for whatever reason) the most talked about housemate n this is panning out to her advantage - as it draws more attention to her. Also, it is inherently human that people tend to support, identify with, protect whom they perceive as being attacked, bullied, wrongly maligned, etc. In Baye's case, the 'pack attack' against her in the early weeks by HMs have gotten her a growing protective followership. Big brother's clip showing Pere, Ike n others (rightly or wrongly) planning against Baye secretly has cemented the supporters resolve n turned them into a kinda cult - ie a followership that has an unshakeable faith/belief in a righteous or just cause. (Also note that the clip, drew the ire of other 'indifferent' HMs to embrace n gravitate protectively to the little one - an emotion that is always difficult to erase n that will excuse/overlook/forgive misbehaviour from the 'weak'). It will therefore be a mistake to underrate Ilebaye's supporters' resolve in getting her the ultimate prize. War Generals have always known that the most dangerous enemy is the one that BELIEVES that he is fighting a just cause - n not necessarily the one with an enviable armoury. (Reminds one of the obidients' in Nigeria's political space). Summarily, the OGs are unwittingly playing out the sociological testament n pushing Ilebaye towards getting the ₦120m by their constant talks n angst against the Gen Z baddie ![]() Like someone said...bad publicity na publicity. |
Avedonn:WhiteMoney was wrong. Simplicita. Ilebaye would feel WM did that because she's the youngest - n not giving her respect. Watch WMs face while tuning low n Baye's face at the impunity - that's what it was really. Impunity WM wouldn't do that if it was Mercy or Pere for that matter. If people were sleeping, Baye was in the lounge n no one sent WM to tune the music down. I understand Baye's stance n blame her not. WM can be quite possessive n territorial especially if he is interested in something. The system doesn't belong to WM n Baye has every right to it...n the music wasn't even loud. In this instance, WM was being unreasonable. And bullish. WM is my fave but Baye has my support. I pray she wins the ₦120m - that way, the others will pay her her due respects. |
N3TRAL:Doyin didn't hand Mercy any win. If you watched their HoH game closely, you'd have noticed that Mercy packed more sand than Doyin for each trip they made. Mercy simply played smarter n fooled Doyin. Ike knows Mercy good n respects her focused n competitive spirit. In the house, I see WhiteMoney n Ilebaye as Mercy's real competition. But then, let's see how the game keeps playing |
Giel:True that... When Biggie doesn't dq Ilebaye, & Ozo with his gang select those to go home, this week promises to be really 'explosive'. |
femisplash:The State government said the stadium was undergoing renovation n therefore couldn't make it available |
KIDDRICAsHAWK: I've been silently enjoying your 'vawulence' on these streets, but why do you sadden me so? ![]() I'm aware you ain't for Groophy, but why stop me from begging from the good lady Eeghe? Anyhow, I've gotten her assurances ![]() Er, can you spare some 100s of votes for the Groovy guy - just for old time's sake na? Pleeeeaaase. I love you still, however ![]() Meanwhile, do have a great week ahead n stay blessed. |
Eeghe:Thank you for the assurance. I shall be pumping my all for him. My respects |
Eeghe:I take it you are voting Groovy. If not, can I beg you to pls do - I'll appreciate a substantial amount of support. The times I've had to watch n read the posts on NL, I kinda fell for Phyna n her boo (always been a sucker for ships). I trust you're good. Do have a pleasant week ahead. Many blessings |
Hyland:Around, but not fully involved. Politics is it for me this time. Cheers |
But Atiku was among them in APC who joined in vilifying Jonathan and backing Buhari back then. So, why are they making him their candidate when he was complicit in Buhari's emergence? Bottom line: Peter Obi is the hope for a Nigeria of our dreams. We cannot be distracted |
Maxymilliano:Since zoning is no longer necessary, why is Kwankwaso interested in a Southerner to be his running mate? He should pick a fellow Northerner - after all, merit is the word. |
