Now to the OP. First, of all, is this lady your wife or baby mama? You must know that you can't push an adult around. You can't scream down their heads in the name of telling them what to do... most often, such actions are counter-productive. You'd bring out a rebellious side in her. Check...perhaps her spiritual life is dwindling... perhaps she's trying to be more fashionable and she thinks skimpy is the way to go...

You've already registered that you don't appreciate the new style... let her be... she'll get tired and come around to being the girl she used to be.

If it's a 2007 Max, then it should be CVT. By D1 do you mean shifting to the manual mode (M1)?
Pinkish colour would suggest water contamination.

Hello autowiz,

Since last December I noticed that my car hesitates like 10 and sometimes 20 seconds when you select D. Within this time if I step on the gas it just revs until after the delay before engaging. But it moves on R and D1 without any delay. This also seems to happen whenever the car has been parked for anything longer than 4hrs.

Car is Nissan Maxima '07. Oil color is pinkish and doesn't smell burnt.

All of a sudden, our car passenger rear door stopped opening from within. I thought it was a fault.
Asked a mechanic fixing side mirror to examine it.

He noticed it was "child safety lock" on. He wanted to loose the door mat to make the task herculean so as to charge more money but maybe fear of God or my cordial relationship with him prevailed on him to just unlock the child safety lock. He unlocked it and told me.

I didn't know there was anything called CHILD SAFETY LOCK until today.

You know, the issue has always been the word **research**,if you had done one before placing an order you won't had been complaining. The model of the LG TV you bought are familiarize with backlight issue, it's not the sellers fault but a common fault from LG as a whole. Whosoever who had bought those model has always been fixing backlight.
Also let me tell you a little secret about TVs, The parts of Some TVs can be inter changed from a model to another without hassle. I mean if you have a LN/LA Series you can use there parts on each other without issues, but it may give ISSUES or won't even work if you use LN/LA parts on LB/LF/LJ...

I have never said hisense wasn't a good product, they are wonderful but the fear of buying one is lack of spare parts in tokunbo market after warranty period, though they use Samsung or LG parts(Screen and co) which may be more expensive than the TV it self..

Am sorry about your TV, but if there is alway a way to get it down here to lagos. I will replace the backlight free of charge!!!!!
