According to a summary by AI: "For a user prioritizing the longest possible lifespan for a stationary energy storage system, Hithium's high-cycle-life cells may have an edge. For a user seeking a well-known, reliable brand with a proven track record in both EV and ESS, REPT is an excellent choice."

favouredbymercy: Good evening
Please who has experienced charge controller giving extreme high voltage to battery when battery is full? The old Powmr controller with 2 Jinko 590w panels in series connected to it, gave a battery output voltage of over 39v on a 24v system triggering inverter error code 3 and 8.
Has anyone experienced this issue of controller giving out extreme voltage when battery full? What is the way out of this?
Thanks for your reply and happy new week to you. Mine does this but it also results in the breaker that I installed between the charge controller and the battery tripping off. Have you installed a breaker between both? Maybe I don't get that code because of the breaker between the CC and the battery, but it often causes the battery to be undercharged by the end of the day, if no one was not at home to check and reset the breaker after a while It is highly recommended for safety reasons. Sorry that I did not answer your question in full |

Valto: in this present day, i shouldn't be advising on an overpriced 60A mppt , when u can get a good high pv CC (450V max) 140A mppt , at about the same price! Name names and shame the devil I bought more panels than my 60amps Powmr charge controller can take without clipping and asked for help in choosing a PV CC but I got no response Since this topic has been resurrected, I re-present my question, I need help on the above |

Trippledots: How though? The installer forgot to connect it? All he said is that we have run out of wire and connectors instead of that we haven't connected all the panels I paid him in cash and kind, I mean I gifted him a bicycle, I consider that quite unfriendly, given that I have gone above and beyond for him |

funken: @FEGEITOK where do they sell these and how much?
Looks like its Tier 1? As far as I'm concerned it is Tier 1, I got each panel at 147,000. At that time 580 watts Jinko was 175,000. From Kougar. I'm glad I did. I have always been a Jinko guy. I'm now an FY guy |

FEGEITOK: Never ever got more than 1.3kW from a possible total of 2.1kW.
Today I understood why.
1 of the 3 panels was not connected.
I have gotten 6mm wire to sort it out.
I totally recommend FY panels.
Will get more ASAP given that the test results are so good Around 12 noon yesterday I turned on my 2 horsepower non inverter AC and the panel production immediately hit 1kW, when I tried that before I would see around 600 watts or 700 watts. I have a nother set of panels hooked directly to the inverter. The 2.1kW is connected to a standalone charge controller and the same batteries. Will try again with the panels hooked to the inverter switched off. |

laptopsforsale: This "bad boy" ended up gobbling 21 damn trips of full 20tons filling sand. We finished the filling and rammering today. Nearly 7m is already gone and I have not even started German floor yet... ...I just dey bleed ...
Now, my engineer just reminded me that we need to get Damp Proof Membrane. Na die I dey. How necessary is this? And where can I buy it at reasonable cost, and what are the things I need to take into consideration when buying it? You need damp proof membrane, I personally used double damp proof membrane. I also did something else, I did not use filling sand to the level that you did, I stopped somewhere lower. Then created a 6 inch bed of granite, then put the damp proof membrane on top of the granite and then did my casting on top of the damp proof membrane. That was to help with additional drainage and ensure that ground water does not directly interact with the concrete floor, it seems to have also helped with temperature regulation inside the house. Good luck and remember remedial work after the house is built is too expensive, so better do it right the first time. You want a house that can outlast you. It should not need any major repairs in the next 50 years. |

Mykcool:
how did this even happen? Very funny to read. My friend assisted with the connections, I did not thorughly inspect the final job, by that I mean the connections at each panel, I just saw that wires were apparently connected to all three panels, but one wire from Panel A to Panel C was not connected (the missing connection that I found out today) |

FEGEITOK: What he adjusted without my permission was using a screwdriver.
I have tried everything to reset it myself but the frequency is never stable.
I regret not watching him repair the generator which would have made me stop him dead in his tracks while attempting that unauthorised repair.
Will replacing the AVR really fix that? Fixed. I used either overdo or underdo, with finer adjustments, I finally got it right |

Charging at under 200w at 12pm. Never getting a full battery today. I have no choice but to make arrangements for the purchase of additional power banks, eventhough I have an oversized solar array, the battery bank is not keeping up with my power demands overnight, but the power I produce in a day can fill more batteries than I currently have This weak link in my setup must be fixed before the end of the month |

idsolar: From experience, program ur system from SBU to USB then off solar and NEPA breaker then power first NEPA breaker wait like 1minute, power solar breaker.
Also if on NEPA okay but if na generator pls check d gen frequency o. All d best My generator was ok until some stupid repair guy altered some settings and while it can charge my Schneider inverter, the SRNE inverter does not like the frequency. What is the solution to getting the frequency of the generator back to normal? Is it to change the AVR or is it to use a screwdriver to reset those altered settings? It is Thermocool generator? Thanks |

Given the ongoing challenges with reliable power supply, it’s important not to assume that roofs will only need to support roofing sheets and resist wind loads. Please include the weight of photovoltaic (PV) panels as part of the structural load calculations. Thank you in advance. Engineering Data for those civil engineers lol
