From the annual data below: The west panels came a close second with a 2.4% lesser yield than the south-facing panel.

The correct question is how valuable is your time.

If your time is money then it is definitely cheaper to buy food.

Buy the food and your done.

Cooking means you buy the food, prepare it, cook it eat it, store it and clean up afterwards. This can take up to 3 hours or more.

Meanwhile you order the food eat it and throw away the pack in 10 minutes and get back to work.

If however you have plenty of time and no way to use it, cooking is more economical.

This response to your answer and the question that prompted it should be a warning to everyone who thinks of skipping the practice of damp proofing a structure even in places where it is assumed the land is not waterlogged.

Water will always rise.

Capillary action is a law of nature that cannot be ignored, but should always be accounted for in builds

That is efflorescence. It's dissolved salts on the ground and in the mortar mix that dissolved in ground water evaporating to the surface.
When the water evaporates, the salts stays behind on the surface.
The solution is same with ground water ingress. Apply undercoat to seal the wall before repainting.
But there is possibility the water may reappear elsewhere.
I want to assume the issue is on the ground floor.
Using the necessary waterproofing methods during construction would prevent this if it's from the ground otherwise look for leaking pipes or trace adjacent bathroom walls and seal breached wall.

I'm not sure if weathershield is trade marked but finecoat has shield.
The weatherseal/shield is formulated to have u.v absorber and extra sufficient binder while still using inorganic pigments.
Even in tap red tap handles exposed to sunlight, you notice the color fading despite being in a more stronger plastic medium to show how susceptible the organic pigments are to sunlight.
I've done something much more effective as a weather protection for building in high humidity areas by including wax in my weather protective paint for some clients but I've stopped because Nigerians don't appreciate things like that and would opt for the next cheaper alternative even though the difference isn't much.

Why would white patches appear on paintwork after some months or years as if it is fine powder?

If water is used to wipe it clear, it still comes back.

Most of you don't know that some of us were chronic users of lead acids. I usually buy dead ones and wake them up with my Anjing AJ - 618F lithium/lead acid charger. I do this for clients to for free. Omo! Things don change now. My car battery is more than 2 years old as I still use this same charger to desulphate the acid. WHAT KILLS LEAD ACID IS SULPHUR IN LEAD PLATES which you can't stop especially when left for just few weeks uncharged. Most tubulars are heavily sulphated before getting to the country as most spend roughly 3 months on sea before offloading in Nigeria.

The installer lives close to me. He travelled and came back two days ago. He came to my house yesterday and I told him that I bought a shunt to test the battery capacity. I’d already asked the Sako distributor at Alaba if the battery he gave to me was 25.6v; 200ah and he was beating about the bush but later answered me that that was the battery given to me.

The installer called me back few minutes after leaving my house and told me that the distributor called him and told him that one of my friends at Alaba who happens to be a PRO there and works in their task force caused the whole issue. I contacted that my friend when they first sent me one battery called Suhkig and I rejected it. So I called him to help me go and make sure those distributors give my installer a good and renowned product. They said the PRO came and met them ahead of time and discussed with them on how to make money from me. They said he told them that I’m like a brother to him and that anything he tells me in Alaba market, I’ll do it. They said they had to record the conversation as they were scared it might backfire. I sent their balance to this PRO so that once he confirms everything , he will transfer to them. So they gave me a bad battery because according to them, he didn’t give them the complete money. This PRO at Alaba has been like a brother to me for the past 5 years. I bought almost all my appliances through him and he has never sent a bad product to me before. I just call him and he meets the direct importers and tells me the price of any commodity I wanna buy and it’s always cheaper than normal market price. I in return bless him financially and with airtime severally.
I even bought my inverter freezer through him last week.

So, they said that if he can return the money he withheld, they will give me my complete 5Kwh battery. I’ve just been in shock since.

This is too much money. You can buy POWMR POW-48140A for around $260 (400k). Voc is around 500v (48v 140amps). I ordered 10 for my project.
Another cheap option is to buy a 5kv felicity hybrid inverter and use it as a charge controller. I believe Voc is around 500v

So assuming I want to do 12 kilowatts, this means I will need 2 of this.
