ask4bk: How do you guys clean your solar panels pls?
I live in far up northern Nigeria and we've dust storms on a regular. So panels are often covered in thick dust, though they still work.
I usually clean montly with water and omo and soft mop.
I'm hearing now that omo is too strong for panels and can erode whatever protective film abi anti reflective film on the panel. Too much Oyibo for me.
What do you guys use to clean your panels or what's the best safe way?
Is omo really bad? Can I substitute with dish washing fluid or car wash fluid or what? I just use water. Or use very diluted car wash fluid and a cloth to wipe it clean and then rinse. I haven't even researched if I am doing the right thing. Good question. Now I will |

BlueRayDick: The way you are going about this thing , you are making it seem like she has a case of wrongful dismissal which she can win if she institute a civil suit against her principal . Unfortunately you are wrong in that regard .
She was not wrongfully dismissed , neither was she discriminated against .
She contravened the law and she was rightfully dismissed .Case closed ! The law says you should transfer any public money into a private account or you will be assumed to have done that with criminal intent . She did that and was rightfully shown out the door .
What do you think judges do in court ? They simply interpret the law . The law was very clear and she contravened the law . She can’t argue that she was not allowed to continue to break the law or that she should not be punished for the law she’s broken.
If you feel for her , that’s just emotion and has nothing to do with the law. You can feel for a man who steals bread out of hunger in Kano and his hands was amputated in accordance with sharia law; but the law is the law . Have you ever heard that criminal proceedings and civil proceedings can proceed independently? Diddy is being pursued in both ways. The laws that apply to both scenarios are different. A right can be breached in the process of enforcing criminal law and the one wronged has a right to pursue civil remedies.

One more point if you want to charge her for a crime, then remember that the standard of proof for criminal cases is "beyond all reasonable doubt". This means that the prosecution must prove that the defendant is guilty and that there is no other logical explanation for the evidence. The standard is higher in criminal cases because the stakes are higher, such as the defendant's freedom or life.
On the other hand for civil cases, the standard of proof is "preponderance of the evidence". This means that the plaintiff must prove that it is more likely than not that the defendant's actions led to the damages. The standard is lower in civil cases because the stakes are usually money.
Which bar is easier to climb? Especially since the money was not paid into her personal account?
Of course, I know why she will not sue.
This discourse is purely for educational purposes. |

The law is funny. she will be pursuing her civil rights (in the US) or her human rights (in Nigeria) There is a wide berth between civil and criminal wrongs. Everybody is doing it is not an excuse. It is actually a surefire way to get set up if dem mean am for you You need just one example of a different treatment to succeed at a case of discrimination. That said your point is well-made and cannot be argued. She could argue the sex angle, because I am a woman and win or because I am young and win. I feel sorry for her and hope she makes a comeback. Must feel terrible to be singled out. Problem is when the media is on your case, it is not easy to escape, that seems to be the issue here. Plus she may have stepped on powerful toes, seem to remember she reported a head of a parastatal under a ministry. |

BlueRayDick: She actually did something wrong . Section 713 of Nigeria's Financial Regulations 2009 states that “Personal money shall in no circumstances be paid into a government bank account, nor shall any public money be paid into a private account“
“An officer who pays public money into a private account is deemed to have done so with fraudulent intention,”
If you pay government money into a private bank account , it is deemed you doing so with fraudulent intent ; it is very clear .
It’s just like getting caught trafficking drugs and you start claiming you didn’t do anything wrong because you know a lot of people who have been trafficking drugs for years and have made fortune from it.
I agree with you that she was used as a scapegoat tho. You have a point, if only that law was applied uniformly across the board, there would be no issues. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by FEGEITOK: 7:08pm On Nov 12, 2024 |
BlueRayDick: Hmmm.... Don't forget that Betta Edu didn't pay any money into her own personal account o, it was the account of one Bridget Oniyelu that the money was paid into. Just like this one that involves the money being paid into the account of one Unoh Omolara.
The only thing that wouldn't make Edun complicit is if they don't need his approval as minister to move N55m into a personal account.
One thing that is obvious in all of these is that a lot is really going on in the civil service. I remember during that Betta scandal, people defending her were arguing that there's nothing wrong in moving funds into personal account. More like they are so used to impunity that they don't even know its wrong. She was a scapegoat. Unfortunate, she suffered discrimination, but she can't sue because she needs to be in the good books of the party. It is the practice of the system, she did nothing wrong. If everyone else doing it was not sacked, then her sacking is discrimination pure and simple. |

Danibestguy: Hello everyone. I need your advice please. I have a 24v system comprising of a 3kva sako inverter and a 3.2kwh lifepo4 battery.
Load is majorly a 100w fan + 130w fridge(on for 4hrs/day)
I want to get solar panels to complement my setup but my landlord will not allow more than one panel on his roof(Lagos landlord wahala).
Will a 550w jinko panel suffice for the load of 24v/250-300 watts?
Please note that I'll be supporting with utility . Also note that my inverter starts up at 30v according to the specifications on it. Why not put them on a car port? Why must it be on the roof? Is there no space for a car port? |

On another thread, someone explained what happened to Ebang in the following words There's a power struggle within the Equi. Guinea ruling family. Ebang is a grand nephew to the President, Ebang's father the President of The Central African Monetary Commission is President Teodoro Nguema's nephew. The investigation for fraud and release of the tapes was orchestrated by Teodorin Nguema Mangue the country's Veep and son of the President. It's no secret among the country's political circles and ruling family that Ebang's father and himself were considered alternatives to Teodorin Nguema the Veep in a succession battle. In this case, Teodorin moved first to eliminate a possible threat to him succeeding his father as President when the time comes. With Ebang out of the way, he has no other rivals to challenge him when the time comes. A similar move MBS played in Saudi Arabia. As for the knacking, he can't be charged that as it was all consensual, but maybe for recording. If Ebang can do that, imagine what Teodorin the veep an openly confirmed playboy does in his spare time. 😂 |

Typical Nigerian banny, especially the ones wey dey play home-base league of relationship
I don give up on wooing Nigerian bannies these days, cuz, come to think of it, what's the essence of dating someone who's steadily hungry like she doesn't have a father? . They can't be supportive..... Can't bring up a conversation, and even when the guy manages to bring up one, they can't sustain it but be giving meaningless and short replies like--"fyn,ok,gud and so on" .
If you really want to know the "olodo" you're dating, just tell her to write a formal letter . You go too shame for yourself as a guyman, cuz , majority of these bannies roaming our streets these days have nothing upstairs, apart from thinking of inventing various formats of how to bill men unnecessarily
The worst part of it all is that when a guy refuses to give Dem money, they will be angry as if the native cockerel give the guyman money to help her hold for her before
Tbh, dating a Nigerian banny of this generation isn't different from running an orphanage, even tho the later is more heavenly and more humanly than the former
Very wayward creatures In the last one week, I meet two. Within 1 week of meeting out of the blue, I got an urgent request for 50,000.00? I said wow. You barely know me and the billing game is on? |

Ooreofegrace: I dont think that the issue here... For those numbers of jinko panels and capacity, I doubt if it will even take from the battery at all.. And again that is if the pumping was done during good harvest. Your last sentence should have come first in the form of a condition: Provided that the pumping of the water and the turning on of the fridge happened during good PV harvest then .... But instead you put it last giving the impression that you were making a categorical statement earlier on. That said the guy made a telling statement, that it happened immediately after two conditions were fulfilled, first, the pumping of the water and second, the turning on of the fridge. That could (note not should) lead to the conclusion or assumption that they are related. He did not state whether he was in a good harvest or a bad harvest season. So without knowing all the variables, it is safe to not be categorical. I did include a disclaimer that I could very well be wrong, but my experience has been that if the battery goes too low, the inverter either registers a fault code or doesn't turn on at all or just goes off. There are at least three other variables we don't know: the capacity of the water pump aka how fast it ran down the battery or used up the juice from the PV the state of the charge or discharge of the battery when he started to pump how long the pump ran aka how far gone the battery was as at the time he turned on the fridge Which might (note I said might not must) have caused the inverter to go into self-protection mode. |

adewasco2k: Please i need some claerification on a problem (not my personal system)
They have a 12volt 2.2kw hybrid inverter 6pcs of 550w jinko 2.1kwh lithium battery
its just for basic home usage no much load, not even fridge or freezer just pumping machine sometimes.
I personally adviced they can use the freezer when its sunny, they started doing that and it went well but one day they put on the freezer and the inverter entered error 58 and didnt work for 24 hours but later magicall started working again.
Now i am thinking what could have caused that because they said nothing else was even on when it happen, it was majorly just the freezer but it was just after they finished pumping water with it though.
maybe the high surge from the freezer compressor to pick up?
just want to understand what could have happened before they upgrade the system Inconclusive but did they check the battery voltage and state of charge before turning on the fridge after running the pump? Because the water pump is not nice to the battery. It seems the battery did not fully recover when you decided to turn on the fridge. I could be wrong. But given my experience running a pump on a 1.5kva inverter, I think is most likely the issue. Please don't do it again unless you allow the battery to juice up after such a beating. |
