How does the ABU DLC BNSC program work?

Does one have to pay the entire fee of nearly 200,000 at a go or does one pay per semester?

I'm about to sponsor someone and I need clarity.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by FEGEITOK: 6:22pm On Sep 30, 2024
This should put the discussions here in context.

I did not write it.

I copied it from a someone somewhere:

"As you know, humans like to invent comfort words. One of my favorites is "luck". The theory being that yes, the universe has dice, but they are loaded in your favor. Properly used, these words are a spell - they allow us to have courage when a sober mind would quail. But when you become a professional, you have to give up these crutches. Only poor poker players believe in "luck".

In computer science, and especially in machine learning, one of these words you have to give up is "consciousness", which makes a lot of the current discussion on AI feel pompous and unbearable. Just because you can feel something doesn't make it real. The other day someone said to me, "I don't know why, but it FEELS true to me" and I haven't been able to get that out of my head since then.

In security we are often challenged to reject the assumptions a system is built on so we can develop a third sight - in some cases clear enough you gain the ability to predict the future. The raw fuel of this is a vast reliance on an information torrent that to any outside party looks like addiction.

I'm by no means an expert on war, conflict, or the Middle East, but what Israel has done to Hezbollah is stunning to most of the experts, and in my opinion, it's because they missed a major shift in warfare that was largely driven by Java Middleware, of all things. So many of us lived through the transformation brought about by precision GPS and ISR-based air power. This much is obvious to the crowd that writes articles in war journals. Air war is cool in a very teenage way, and drone movies have a certain visceral feel to them that academics like to write about because it says to the world that they are the kind of hard-core experts that understand the blood-and-guts reality of modern combat. You know what's not sexy? Java.

But what is network centric warfare really if not endless rooms full of programmers having meetings about Java Beans and SOAP contracts. What does it look like when a real team goes after your entire society and builds surveillance into everything? It's hard to move in the modern world without a wake billowing behind you into the ether. Al Quada learned this the hard way, and now I think we can see what it looks like applied to another decentralized covert organization.

In the end, it's not the drones or the missiles that make the difference—it's the quiet, relentless infrastructure underneath it all, overlooked by those too focused on the shiny surface of modern warfare. The real revolution isn’t in the explosions but in the code. The experts who missed this shift weren’t outmaneuvered by luck or brute force; they were outmatched by those who embraced the unglamorous, intricate work of building a machine that sees all and remembers everything. The future of conflict, like security and AI, won’t belong to those dazzled by the spectacular. It will belong to those who understand that, more often than not, the real power lies in the invisible."

I am not anti japa but I will still say it without fear. If I have enough money that would cover all my "japa expenses" I would stay back in Nigeria and invest the money. I am familiar with Nigeria and it will be easy for me to do so many things here than a foreign land.

Last year I had the opportunity to travel abroad I told the person to invest the money in a business for me here, since he is also doing well in Nigeria without traveling abroad to hustle, he refused to give me any money or even invest it for me in a business. I told him I wasn't interested in traveling, that I can't be slaving away in a foreign land, living in fear or foreign laws that are anti black (no matter how nice they paint it) plus leaving all the people I cherish behind was something I can't imagine.
He kept his money and I thanked him for offering to help.

Because most nigerian don't have sense

Money's in Nigeria, only people that have sense get it
It is very hard for a Nigerian moving to the United States to get a billion naira contract from the United States government.

It is very easy for a Nigerian living in Nigeria that has sense and uses that sense to get a billion naira contract from the Nigerian government

Of course you need to start small and build the confidence of the system and the people who run it in you.

But because a lot of us want a 9 to 5 which is not a bad thing in itself, they never get to see those opportunities and thus never grab them.

This is often why foreigners come and grab them and Nigerians who have gone out and come back also grab them.

There is a lot of money in Nigeria if you look at the right places

Add lack of any real regulation, a culture of acceptance of malpractice, the power of oyibo accent, and a returnee can hammer big time.
My point is that those returnees now see the opportunities where they ran away from, that they didn't see when they left.

And now do what the Lebanese and co are doing by coming here

So, how come so much poverty?
My dad had a book that I read uncountable times.

Some people will never see the acres of diamond in their surroundings.

It takes someone else with a different outlook to see what those without more experience and localized experience cannot see.

Exposure makes a difference.

*Acres of Diamonds* is a motivational tale about an African farmer named Ali Hafed. Hearing stories of other farmers becoming rich by discovering diamond mines, Ali Hafed becomes obsessed with the idea of striking it rich. He sells his farm and embarks on a fruitless journey across the continent, searching for diamonds.

Years later, worn out and disillusioned, Ali Hafed returns to his old farm, only to find that it has been bought by someone else. To his astonishment, the new owner discovers a vast diamond mine on the very land Ali Hafed had sold. The moral of the story is that opportunities often lie right beneath our feet, and we should be careful not to overlook them in our pursuit of far-off dreams.

I was with him all thru his journey,he was my best friend n confidant.

Was with him when he was referred down to the federal medical centre in my state from the accident scene at agbor,

Was called to meet him at fmc,he all bloodied, and had to message his chest down, sadly he told me to quit wasting my time, that he couldnt feel from his neck downwards and introduce me to his 2 friends ,and told them he trusted me with his life and told them I could get him some essentials,I met two of his friends there,he made me swore an oath due to the fact that he has lots of adversaries on this space, stayed with him at the hospital, even all thru the process, message his fingers and was in the private ambulance that ferried him to run his citiscan and how he was dissing out instructions to the ambulance driver to lock his stretcher, and some points he was cautioning the driver and how he cautioned me for putting on a gown to the hospital.

I was all teary, even in pains,he told me to cheer up and lock his fingers ,I can still picture him telling me to rub beneath his head (sobs)

Dude was really in pains and held my hands in the private ambulance, his 2 friends really mounted for him.

I can still remember him insisting on them wearing the protective gear on me due to radiation and how I held the board.

At some point he was complaining to me and I had to tell the private ambulance driver to halt so we could lock the stretcher and people starring at us in-between akpu junction.

I choose to remain anonymous....but I was with uche all thru his journey...

I was with him when the citiscan was being conducted because he insisted in my being there,he called his wife in my presence,at some point I was scared and started crying,he cautioned me to be strong, ...

We eventually left for the fmc and I was determined to stay the night with him,he told the private ambulance guy to drop me at home so as not to get me into problems.

The next day fmc went on strike,I called his friends and was told he was being private journeyed to UBTH....

I snucked in to see him....wished him well and has always kept in touch.....

I haven't slept since last night to this moment ,my family really missed you uche.

Only to be told yesterday that he has passed....gazzuzz rip in peace sir.

I tot he was going to pull through...he was indeed a friend,a brother and a selfless man.
August 27th a dark Tuesday.

I missed you sir

Rest in peace sir gazzuzz ...your death is one thing that has really shattered me.
Was it a car accident?

Was he driving?

What did he hit? Or what hit him?

You said something about radiation? Please clarify.

What sort of accident that he couldn't feel from the neck down?

What sort of accident made him so bloodied?

I'd love answers for the sake of closure.

Thanks

Because a client was not treated properly, the secret sauce or recipe is now in the open.

I hope other vendors are watching what happens when you don't treat a client right. It takes just 1 client to bring you down.

I know potential clients are watching and taken note of the big exposè that this PR nightmare has thrown up.

There was apparently no credible alternative, now there is a vetted credible alternative.

The audacity of mistreating a client and turning around to publicly ask the same client to use his facility as a case study is icing on the cake of this PR fiasco for me.

when you see police doing stop and searcch, their real goal and aim is to find evidence that you are a yahoo boy so they can shake you down.

as a criminal you cannot seek legal redress. it is when they go after and harass people who are innocent ad can therefore call them out they get into trouble

it is all of them. the other day i was stopped by local govt officials who tried to claim i did not have papers - even though it was clear my car was not commercial. i was not having it and i refused to be intimidated and at a point one of them started talking nonsense about me being yahoo.

this is another symptom of yahoo culture, mixed with the corruption of nigerian security agencies

Do they have database to finger prints linked to the NIMC (NIN)?
My guess is no.
So that's not a forensic unit.
There is digital forensics.

There is forensic biology, the police has such a facility. This was the question I answered.

There is firearms and toolmarks forensics.

There is the forensics of fingerprint analysis.

There is forensic chemistry.

To mention but a few.

I also know the police also has a forensic laboratory for dealing with documents.

Will revert on the fingerprint analysis aspect of forensics.

There's no ceiling anywhere so long as you bring value to the table o.
Not true.

Yes there is a higher standard of life out there.

There are certain jobs that are reserved for citizens.

Like working in the intelligence services.

There are certain places non-citizens will never enter.

That is certainly a glass ceiling of some sort.

Yes, the pay is better. The standard of living is better.

But the way our people worship the white man if he comes here with ideas, that will never be extended to the black man from Africa.

I know of a cybersecurity company from Africa whose product is widely used, globally by law enforcement, defence and intelligence agencies, their founders went on tape to say they were treated like a an outcast despite how much the industry loves their product.

At the last international conference and exhibition they attended, so few people turned up for their training.

They decided to sell the product and the company and the brand to whites out of frustration.

I sell another similar product and I remember how when I approached the company, in their email trail the CEO was saying we got this email from Africa, see how good their English is, like only whites can speak good English.

Now this company later went on to close a deal with one of our defence bodies without me, the very person who introduced them after a multi-year cooperation with me to bring the deal from conception to fruition. Their representative came to Nigeria and signed a very big contract and left the country without even informing me. But I subsequently later found out. Isn't that corruption? That they keep accusing Africans of?

I can go and on and on.

There is a glass ceiling whether we choose to see it or not, and whether we choose to admit it or not.

While the white man can come here and go back with a billion dollar contract from our government, it is almost impossible for a black man to go there and replicate the same.

I had assumed that my inverter got fried last night.

It didn't.

This morning I checked, the breaker between the inverter and the battery had tripped off.

Please do yourself some good.

One of the protections for your inverter and battery is to install a breaker between them.

Same way as you install a breaker between the PV modules and the inverter and a breaker between the charge controller and the batteries.

Don't skimp on protection.

Protection is cheaper than replacing units.

I seriously don't understand what happened in the night that caused this inverter to trip.

Suffice it to say that there was a guest in the house at the time who might have done something that led to this.

You want panels that will give you nameplate wattage or close to or more for the whole time of your ownership not panels that will drastically drop performance 3 to 5 years later.
