What are the names of the armed robbers? Will like to know before making further comments. |
Kennyswag:You just dey run your mouth any how. No worry, the fight go soon enter street then everybody go feel am. No be only una sabi burn market na. We know Yoruba people businesses and market. Fire go touch them too. E go bloody well well. |
Kennyswag:Your madness has no cure. The hate your people spew is gradually catching up with you. Wasn't it recently where Yorubas were dealt with at Ibeno, in Akwa Ibom? In the north, Yorubas are called 'munafikai' because of your double-faced nature. You'll see what will happen to your people over there. Make we dey see how e dey go na. |
The difference is the ethnic group of the speaker. Any Igbo person who doesn't know the level of ethnic profiling the Yorubas have done against Ndigbo in Nigeria in the past and the one they're doing currently internationally is a dunce. They used the media they control to demonize us before other ethnic groups before the internet came out. This is why when you ask some other ethnic groups the crime of Ndigbo that warrants the unnecessary hostile response you get, the best they can tell you is that 'Igbos love money'. If you press them further, they will be at lost on what to say Ndigbo did to them. This is when you'll realize that they're under the influence of prejudice foist on them by the old Yoruba controlled Nigerian media. If you notice today, these ethnic groups are more receptive of us having been exposed to the truth both through the internet and by our interaction with them. Ask yourselves, how many ethnic groups gravitate towards the Yorubas today? Almost none... Not even the Ogu(Egun) people of Badagry whose second language is Yoruba want to do anything with them. Their malicious character is gradually coming back to bite them. Sensing this impending alienation, they have ran back to the feet of the fulani for any form of alliance even if it meant eating only crumbs but that won't save them either. The people of the middlebelt are watching the silent connivance of the Yorubas as fulani wreck havoc on them. The Edo people who were once Yorubaphilic have thrown away whatever connects them with them seeing the kind of people that they are. Femi Fani-Kayode exemplifies the typical Yoruba man's philosophy which disgusts every ethnic group that values honour. In Delta, only the Itsekiri still shows any tilting towards them because of linguistic ties; the rest have also rejected them. The Bayelsa people have a similar character with the Yorubas so whatever you see happening between them in just temporary and will soon explode. Already, they have started attacking Tompolo which we all know will elicit a reaction soon. They don't have any friends in the entire south anymore owing to their hateful and hypocritical character. I disagee with anyone that calls Nigeria a zoo. It is a wrong analogy. Zoos are an organize place where animals are catered for and humans can come in and interact with them. Nigeria is not like that. A jungle defines Nigeria better because it is where might is right. If you can't feed yourself in a jungle, you'll perish. No one cares about another's survival in the jungle just as it is happening in Nigeria. See the genocide happening in the middlebelt where thousands have been killed violently by fulanis while the Nigerian army watches on and sometimes claim that they weren't given the order to intervene and save villagers sending an SOS message. NIGERIA IS A JUNGLE AND THE WORST OF ITS KIND. |
OPICANTO2223:Chai...ọnụ ọjọọ. |
Krugisback:Other ethnic groups have just found that out. Watch and see what happens very soon. |
whichway007:Na Yoruba people way be that. |
See how the usual haters abandoned this thread because no Igbo person was mentioned among the stowaways. At least, one Yoruba person was among them. After voting out of hate, he decided to run away from Lagos as a stowaway to Europe. If he had succeeded, he will still be supporting the wickedness happening in Nigeria from his refugee status in Europe. This is how their hearts are conditioned. |
ogelekpomgam:Very typical of Yorubas. Their hate for Igbos is very strong. Thank God other tribes are now seeing their inordinate hate for Igbos. Most of the forum moderators have the same mindset as the average Yoruba person that's why they see nothing wrong in what their people comment in the forum. |
jrusky:Copied |
gidgiddy:I think the Aba Women's Riot preceded it and should be seen as the start of the resistance. The Coal Miners' Massacre indeed incured a wider rejection from our men though and galvanized the support for Independence in the East. I'll need to read up more on this massacre to get a better feel of the time. |
tribalmall:Hate and nothing but hate is what pervades the Yorubas man heart towards Ndigbo. There's hardly any coup done in Africa that has any ethnic colouration but the Yoruba man will always attach ethnicity if an Igbo man is either the benefactor or beneficiary of the coup. For instance, out of about 8 coups in Nigeria's history, the Yorubas only highlighted the one led by an Igbo and used it to accuse the whole Igbo nation of conspiracy. The rest coupists were never identified by their ethnic origin till date. Today, we have coups in Mali, Guinea, Burkina Faso, Niger and at the moment Gabon. Hardly does anyone know the ethnicities of the corrupt presidents overthrown in their respective countries simply because it doesn't matter in the real scheme of things. What matters is whether the coup is justified or not which shows if the citizens are happy with it. How on earth a Yoruba man remembers that Ali Bongo has igbo origin and as such is using it to launch attack on Ndigbo remains shocking but not surprising to me. This is exactly who the Yorubas are as a people. Ali Bongo was recently declared winner for the third time he has ran for elections with this last being accused of glaring irregularities. The citizens whether military or civil will be irked by it which is what just happened. Again, from physical observation, one can see that he is visibly sick and needs to retire to take care of himself thereby giving another person the opportunity to govern the country. His refusal to do so honourably definitely won't go down well with a lot of people including myself if I were to be a Gabonese. The coup is still fresh and reactions are yet to pour in. When they do, we will gauge if it is popular or not but I wager it will be popular which will mark an end to the Bongo era and a new start for the Gabonese government. This is just common sense. If the Bongo government for over half a century hasn't been able to give the country a good stewardship despite her oil wealth, then there's a need to step aside for another person to try. There's no need for any useless ethnic colouration to it. Your comment exposes exactly the way a Yoruba man reacts when an Igbo is involved in ANY event that becomes a news and generates reactions. He must twist it to be used against the Igbo people. They do it so effortlessly that I wonder if it is the same God that created us and them. I want other ethnic groups to take note. |
Ola9ja23:LMAO. If them born you well, go celebrate Isese for Ilorin if your fulani emir no direct him Yoruba slaves for Ilorin to behead you. E get any slavery wey pass that one? Gerrara here men. |
tsdarkside:Of course, it will only be valid if the researchers were Yorubas since only Yorubas are capable of conducting research especially those happening in Igboland. The level of your cognitive dissonance is very palpable. |
slam7000:LMAO... So finally Omenka the nairaland troll has been caught redhanded as a fraudulent person. Is God not wonderful? One after the other, all of them working against the voice of sane reasoning will be put to shame. |
Bluntemperor:Let me restrain myself from attacking you viciously like you deserve. Firstly, is it that Igbos felt they were targeted or we were actually targeted? Who's businesses were attacked after the election? Who's members were violently attacked by you Yorubas during an election that an Igbo man wasn't even a contestant? Now to the Ilorin issue, do you really think it is only you Yorubas that have monopoly of reacting to any event whether political or not? What gave you people the audacity to come out openly and tell Ndigbo who are supposed to be citizens of Nigeria to vacate Lagos- a former capital of Nigeria simply because you hate us? If for any reason you feel you don't want to share Lagos with us then ask for the division of Nigeria so you can own Lagos exclusively. Coming out to tell us to vacate Lagos is the highest insult ever. Are we no longer citizens of Nigeria who have contributed immensely to her development? Why then do you think you can just wake up and tell us to leave? Such a thing is only done to a foreigner who has really shown to be causing problems without contributing any growth. Do you know that you Yorubas denied Ndigbo our constitutional right of participating in the gubernatorial election? I know it doesn't appear to be a crime before you guys as long as Ndigbo are at the receiving end. As a matter of fact, you guys still have Eze Ndigbo of Ajao Estate in your custody despite him not committing any crime. You arrested and detained him whereas the Yorubas who went about setting our business places on fire were left untouched. Mc Oluomo who spearheaded the attacks on our people is walking a free man. We all can see these things with our own eyes. The fulani emir of Ilorin has banned any useless Yoruba from celebrating any Isese festival in Ilorin. We are yet to see any braggadocio from you people. The few that managed to summon courage are now eating watery beans in Ilorin after they were picked up in Ibadan. Is God not wonderful? Whatever you sow, you shall reap in 100 folds. |
Essence20:The 'Ronu' scallywags have all 'run' away. Them no born their papa well to challenge the fulani emir of Ilorin. No dog go bark again and the fate of Ilorin is sealed forever. |
kettykin:You obviously can see ahead. Nigeria is a puppet state created to ensure Africa doesn't develop starting from herself not developing. Unfortunately for Nigeria, she will be left alone with few mushroom states from West Africa and maybe a one or two from eastern Africa. By that time, everyone will now see how shameless Nigeria is. |
mrvitalis:The entire African continent dividing into ethnic lines will be very difficult to implement owning to the fact that we are just too fragmented. However, there should be an open opportunity for any groups who think they're capable of going it alone or with certain ethnic groups they share more affinity with. Some borders might need to be redrawn but it doesn't necessarily mean all countries must be affected. Only those with clear cut templates of survival and potential to excel should be granted audience. No one wants tiny countries who will need food aid to survive. For the Rwandan situation, I discovered that their case over there was another fulani-hausa relationship. As a matter of fact, there's hardly any language difference presently. You have to mostly rely on physical features and to an extent the possesion of herds of cattles running into far generations to tell who is Hutu from Tutsi. Their religion is still the same Christianity for both. The traditional and cultural hierarchy which placed the cattle owning Tutsis as rulers over the crop farming Hutu's was cemented by the Belgians not minding that the Hutus outmatched the Tutsis in population in ratio 6:1. With modernity and democracy, the age long situation was about to change to favour the Hutu majority but the Belgians not wanting things to happen naturally started to interfere which eventually led to the bitter genocide we all know about today. To cut the long story short, the current progress under Paul Kageme though good can hardly stop or assuage the feeling of subjugation felt by the majority Hutus. Will it survive after the departure of Kagame? Only time will tell. As for me, it is just a situation that is smoldering and still needs a revisit and it best be done with the Hutus granted ears and hearing what they want for themselves. Nothing else can stop this smolder until this is done. It is very similar to our situation in Nigeria. |
truthhurtsnaira:Your last paragraph just spoilt everything you wrote up there. I'll advise that you edit it. Get your facts right before wishing anything on other people. |
mrvitalis:Just the truth especially Rwanda. Notice how Germany was divided into two after they lost WW2 and how they ensured to merged back after 44years. This is exactly how Ndigbo will emerge back and the Igbo denial fizzle out after all what our enemies did to divide our people. You can't just expect a people to 'move on' after you've perpetuated your hate, persecution and marginalisation. |
Na amotekun terrorists plus agbado minions na dem go go invade Niger. Other Africans are watching Yoruba people keenly. Africans go soon cook for them make dem try finish. |
Ningishzida:Makes a lot of sense. I believe this wanton killings are perpetrated by amotekun terrorists. They should be fished out and butchered. |
Abagworo:We must return the ethnic profiling back on Yorubas in full force. I'm championing this one because it is 100% certain that Yorubas crave Igbo blood for no justifiable reason. We must not take it as a joke anymore. |
43Ronin:The movie name is Tears of the Sun and was released 2003. |

I swear to God that made this morning if what you are praying for eventually happen "we" will capture Obi, chain him and kneel him down in front of a live camera, puncture his testicle, roast it for him to eat then give Samuel Doe of Liberia treatment. Mark my word......
