A member of my church says she often has dreams when she goes to the airport but somehow the trip will be cancelled or she will miss the flight or she will just be unhappy after waking up. You are obviously mad. The dead in China and Italy is hysteria? The first case of COVID in Italy was discovered in January 31, and by today less than 2 months after there are more than 4000 death. I have already shared my experience . The best you can get is to be considered for a waiver because even old mothers as old as 80 years are not given their visa. I suspect most people less than 40 will get a worse result and no consideration for a waiver.

Sorry I only narrated my experience . I don't work for American or Nigerian government . I must however say they only hold on to your passport if they think you qualify for a waiver. If you don't they immediately give it back to you.

What we can do is just pray they are generous with the waivers. Even old men and women nearly 80 years old or even more only got promise of waiver and same white note.

I attended this morning. The best anyone can get is promise to have a waiver considered. You don't need to apply for a waiver, it is automatically given to you if you passed the interview and they decide to keep your passport and police reports.

Don't stress yourself . Nothing that is under your control is likely to happen. Just pray and hope for the best.

1. Your American Fiance(e), Spouse or a qualifying relative can apply for an immigrant visa.
2. If it is accepted by USCIS and NVC (if all documents are correct), you get NOA1 and NOA2, the NVC number and follow the process as usual until the Interview.
3. You can be approved in the Interview but NO visa will be issued as there will be NO Priority Date for you because of the Ban.
4. Your file goes to Administrative Processing until the Ban is lifted or you have a very special situation and your waiver is approved.
5. When the Ban is lifted, all applicants are in line to get the interview and medicals, police report again. It will be a long line (many people waiting) and the process will be longer even with the ban lifted.
6. Better to apply now or after the ban is lifted? With Immigration it's better to start the process as soon as you can. Sooner you start, sooner your approval will come, it will be a very long waiting time, line of people.
7. If your documents and payments are accepted, you will not to apply again unless your petition is denied. Just waiting in line until the Ban is lifted.

I am just seeing (3) from your reply. IR5 immigrant visas do not have Priority Date. They are unlimited.
