@angiefan
Prime asshole - 100% British
We have seen all these a million times and it's all that we ever see in the western press so what's new ? Can you truthfully say that this is all that Nigeria is about ? But British bred (mad cow disease and all) are never known for telling the truth anyway and you've just aptly demonstrated that . Nevertheless on behalf of all the real Nigerians on Nairaland and elsewhere we sympathise with you for whatever the nature of your current illness is cheesy

@angiefan
just curious, do you collect morbid photos as a hobby ?
Do you also giggle aloud to yourself when you are watching all those pictures of dead and burnt accident victims ? Nice pastime especially in winter eh ?

@angiefan

I have never in my life met a more sicko photographer as this one
Does posting these make you feel a lot better now man ?
Just remember even as you feel so proud that all those dead bodies that you are making sport of were once people that other people loved very dearly and if not that God is more merciful to you they could easily have been your own relations.

People should put their money where their mouth is, if merryl lynch believes Nigeria economy is safe , then they should quickly come and invest 100% here, and i mean in the manufacturing sector not oil and gas. it is manufacturing that made US, UK and Japan world powers not oil.Most people outside Nigeria don't know what we suffer here, and some that escape from the hellhole,like dudu quickly forget the pain or they started out as the very bourgeoisie looters/bloodsuckers of the country b/4 they left. dudu the person that said he is no longer Nigerian is not crazy as you think, he is fed up being linked to a fake nation.
Quick tell me five things that UK manufactures and exports . you've only got one minute cheesy
Okay tell me two.

many nigerians manufacture two thing in excess and that is they grumble too much & and they embrace hopelessness too quickly , and that is what makes the other countries better than us. we tend to think that we are the only people suffering in the world and until you live abroad you will not appreciate the advantages that you have in nigeria. It is winter now in UK , if we had the same kind of climate in nigeria tell me will you wait for government to come give you a thick coat to wear and to warm your house ? No way, you either help yourself or freeze to death just like some British also freeze to death every year too.

until people start to confess - it will be better, it will not get better and the more we say - it is bad , the worse it will get that is the sad truth. sop calling nigeria a fake nation it is like that because we made it a fake nation by calling it that name. I may be just a student but I know better

@sledge406
Never mind I only knew this because Glite IS my sister , and she happens to be married to Pafun (Ugly Britain) , and as a matter of fact her account was not suspended but completely DELETED.Obviously the owner sees Nairaland as a PERSONAL KINGDOM and we know all about Yoruba chiefs grin but that is not the issue here as even Glite is not worried ; what bothers me most is that Nigerians abroad feel so badly about Nigeria and in I think in a case where Nigeria is at war with any country abroad they need not use their own army because they will be able to find sufficient Nigerians to fight the battle for them against their own country. It is a terrible shame.

one thing that i have noticed in my short stay on Nairaland is that there are a lot of Nigerians (especially abroad) who appear unable to cope with anything else other than suspicion and failure and that is why they probably will never get better in life. what is wrong with being optimistic ?

but why do most Foreign Investors pay us so low, meanwhile they are making lot of profiTs, they make so much money and take it to their country to deveLop! AIYE WAN MA BAJE ni oo cheesy

Only few companies pays high, I think those FOREIGN INVESTORS are THEIFs,

Nigerians need to seT standard for minimum basic salary for foreign investors to pay our workers since they pay less tax. I think this people are cheating on us,

Nigeria is now the World SafesT Economy, grin, do you know if we have constant supply of electricity, Nigeria will be the BesT and SafesT Economy in da world because profits will be times 10, this FUEL is killing biz and increase the rate of commodoties,

WHATS WRONG WITH OUR LEADERShuh? Now Petrol is $50 per barrel, Petrol Price per litre should be reduced by now, this people na OLE jaree! them dey GBA us the Masses!!!!!! grin
problems with nigerians is that they stay away in some funny country and just make up things in their head because they have nothing to do. petrol is now N50 per liter bro.

Merrill Lynch? They have no credibility. Most American investment banks are in the trouble they are in because they will say pretty much anything you want to hear.
So who do you want to believe now , the man in the mirror or the babalawo in your village ? experts say this is situation , but you common man struggling to catch molue say no be so . Na wa for nigerians o.

where in Nigeria do people earn N5000 a month ? You must have left more thn a decade ago. Even our houseboy earns N15,000 and he lives in free boysquarters. poverty in uk is worse than in naija if you are not entitled to benefits. i know guys earning zero pounds a week and it is not becos they are lazy , no job my friend.

@busy_body
Be careful my sister Glite was banned from nairaland a few days ago for anti- oyinbo sentiments

meanwhile anyone wants to play chess or kill the simpsons with me at naija kampus kommunity ( www.kampuskommunity.com )
Politics › Re: Merrill Lynch Ranks Nigeria World’s Safest Economy by felifeli: 10:33pm On Nov 18, 2008
The report did not claim nigeria has the best economy. As a student i at least know that "safe" and "good" are two different words according to my dictionary at least. , and both descriptions are often mutually exclusive. for example my money is "safe" under my mattress , but it may not be the "best" place to keep it when others are profitably investing theirs. Comprends ?

anyway anyone wants to play chess with me at naija kampus kommunity (www.kampuskommunity.com)

You don't take your precious car for a "spin" on a mad racetrack , if you want it to last very long. and when other people have crashed theirs you can now come out with it and have the road safe to yourself and be the envy of all and that is the meaning of being safe. by the ways is it only in Nigeria that small biz suffers ? I am sure it occurs in UK and US too - remember Joe the plumber ? And as the crashed economies have now found out it is stupid to encourage people to spnd money that they don't have , that is safety in a nutshell. Truth of our life is that most Nigerians never see any good about the country even when foreigners affirm that it could be one of the best places in the world , but no matter many British seem also to have the same impression about their country and their leaders .
Anyway sha what concerns me most is that my Naira can buy more pound sterling and as Glite said it will not be long before it falls to N150 it was N180 last week end and is now N172. And talking about Glite she told me that she has been expelled from Nairaland for her anti-British stance, what a shame , can't we tolerate different opinion anymore ? cry
Qusetion of the day : do people also get expelled for expressing strong anti-nigeria opinions ?
