More details have emerged on the gruesome rape of a three-month-old baby at Adogi in Lafia Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

WuzupNigeria reports that the baby was stolen from her sleeping mom side around 2am on 27 May 2020, she was later discovered in a pool of blood and abandoned at an uncompleted building about seven miles from their house.

She had been raped.

Speaking of the incident, the victim’s 45-year-old grandmother, Mrs Zule Inusa, revealed that the assailants are suspected ritualists, noting that parts of the baby’s private parts and anus were cut off and carted away.
Inusa begged Governor Abdullahi Sule, relevant security agencies and other stakeholders in to come to the aid of the family and arrest the culprit to ensure that justice is done.

She stated that the family was asleep and the door to their room was left open owing to excess heat being experienced in the area.

“We were together with my daughter that fateful night and nobody imagined something of this nature will happen to my grandchild,” Mrs Inusa said.

Mrs Inusa said that they sold some part of their properties at the sum of N130,000. She added that sympathizers contributed N243,000, and the monies were deposited before the doctors commenced the operation at JUTH.

Hotshot Yoruba actress of Igbo descent, Regina Chukwu, has revealed the reason she prefers acting in Yoruba movies to acting in English movies.

The mother-of-two, who shared a grass-to-grace story in a recent Punch Interview, explained that the English movie producers are not as welcoming as the Yoruba producers.

She further added that before getting roles in English movies, "a lot of people would want to sleep with you!.

She said,

Even though I am Igbo, I act mostly Yoruba movies. I actually speak Yoruba more fluently than my native language.

When I first told my late husband I wanted to join the movie industry, he said I would be acting English movies. However, at the time I decided to join the industry, the person who introduced me was a Yoruba actor.

Even when I tried to get close to the English movie producers, they weren’t as welcoming as the Yoruba people. The Yoruba people’s structure is stronger.

In the English sector, a lot of people would want to sleep with you before giving you roles.

A Pastor, Joshua Ibeneme, on Wednesday, approached an Igando Customary Court in Lagos to end his 21-year marriage to his wife, Uzoamaka, for allegedly having sex with two of his church members.

Ibeneme told the court that his wife was messing around with his male members.

“My wife had sexual affair with two of my church members, a deacon and a bishop. Both were boasting telling my other members that they slept with my wife because she enticed them.

A billionaire supporter of former President Goodluck Jonathan hired scandal hit data analytics firm, SCL, to help sway the 2015 Nigeria presidential elections in favour of the then ruling Peoples Democratic Party, a report has said.

According to report by UK's The Guardian, SCL, which is the parent company of Cambridge Analytica, was hired by the rich Nigerian over fears that Muhammed Buhari, a retired military and former dictator, may emerge as president.

The report said seven individuals with close knowledge of the Nigeria campaign described how Cambridge Analytica worked with people they believed were Israeli computer hackers.

A man, believed to be mentally deranged, has reportedly attacked and hacked two primary school pupils to death in Ogun State.

According to various reports and pictures shared on social media, the suspect, identified as one Lekan Olori Ilu, stormed St John’s Primary School, Agodo during lunch break.

He was said to have attacked Obituyi Alabi and Kalesanwo Ibrahim, hacking them to death.

The police are already at the school.

A seven-week-old baby has been diagnosed with a rare birth condition which caused an egg-sized swelling, like a little horn, to protrude from his head.

Nhel Jhon Prado threw doctors off-balance after they discover the “horn” on the baby’s head when he was born. Reports say doctors did not notice the protrusion during antenatal.

A four-woman kidnap gang has confessed to the kidnap and sale of a five-year-old girl in Imo State.

According to The PUNCH, a 22-year-old member of the gang allegedly told the Imo State Police that the gang abducted the girl just to “get back at her father.”

Chiamaka Ukeje was said to have confessed to selling five-year-old Chinagorom Ndukwe, who is the daughter of her uncle, for N400,000.

Chiamaka reportedly hails from Umuduru in Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State.

Nigerian born Treasure Olawunmi Bayode is attempting to set a new Guinness world record for “The Longest Reading Marathon (Read Aloud).

Bayode hopes to make Nigeria proud by reading for 120 hours at a stretch with only two hours break every 24 hours.

The military has employed the services of local fishermen and farmers in the search for the abducted Dapchi schoolgirls, the head of counter-insurgency operation in the North East (Operation Lafiya Dole), Maj. Gen. Rogers Nicholas, has said.

Speaking at the inauguration of helipad, office complex and residential quarters for officers and airmen at the newly established 171 Nigerian Air Force Detachment in Monguno town by the National Security Adviser, Maj-Gen. The Federal Government has released the names and other details of the 110 girls who are yet to be accounted for, following the attack on the Government Girls Science and Technical College, Dapchi, Yobe State, on February 19.
