PoliticsRe: Omojuwa Reacts To Attack On Pastor Adefarasin On His Refusal To Endorse Anyone by fellory: 9:09am On Feb 20, 2023
lhordspy:
Firstly, before i begin my long talks, remember Pastor Adefarasin is a Yoruba man and a christian.

If you ask the same people attacking this man for not endorsing their Ipob candidate to tell you how the election in the south-e@st will go. They will tell you Obi will get 98% of the vote there in the SE. Ask them why, they Will tell you ethnic sentiment will play a major role there.

But these same people think the same ethnic sentiment can never play any part in Southwest but religious sentiment can. They think the Yorubas are stupid. They think we are daft.

These people are from the same region where Christians are 98%, where Muslims are next to nonexistent. Same people will come into the southwest and start preaching religious division, hate and marginalisation. They will tell you how Yoruba Muslims hates yoruba Christians. Explore and exploit the religious diversity of the southwest to preach hate among the yorubas. The same people who are 98% Christians forming pro. and expert on religious matter. Nons*nse people.

I wish after the election, INEC can make the list of the yorubas who vote for different candidates public. Win or lose . We want to know the saboteurs within us. We want to know the betrayers, the bast@rds. The people who are daft enough to be swayed on account of religious sentiment.

We want to make sure their generations to come will know about their treacherous act. They must be part of our history. We don't want them to share in our happiness as Yorubas anymore nor share in our pain.

This is the time to differentiate the Omoluabis from the Bast@rds. And once again to the Yorubas forming woke and liberal:

No you are not woke, You are m@d instead. They are making a fool of you.
You are a fool.I will vote Obi and I am a full fledged Yoruba man from Ekiti State

Yeah...north is well educated than we thought

After this election we are going to be aware of certain things
1)the problem of Nigeria is tribalism and not all about religion but mostly tribalism
And hausas are not really tribalistic the way we thought
But the yorubas are more tribalistic

Because as at the time Buhari was sick and travelling for medical attention we all was clamouring for him to hand over to a healthy and vibrant Osinbajo. We regretted our action of being stupid to elect a sick old man

But now we have a vibrant and healthy Peter obi contesting but the yorubas because of tribalism wants us to install tinubu again knowing fully well that the world will mock us

The worse part of it is that the pain and memory of the incessant travel for medical check up by Buhari is still very fresh in our mind.not like it happened 20 years ago. It just happened yesterday..

And for all those quoting me. Please am not any of this tribe not igbo, yoruba or hausa. I'm from the South South
You don't know anything.Infact when it comes to politics and political discourse you are empty. Is Chief Ayo Adebanjo not yoruba,Obasanjo no be yoruba,am I not yoruba myself .Several of my friends also support Obi.You will just open mouth and start to Yarm dust

FamilyRe: HELP! My Brother Is Too Dull by fellory: 10:29pm On May 29, 2020
Gundel001:
Hi good day my fellow Nairalander please I will really need your experience about this issue. Please help me read to the end as it is a little bit long.

My junior brother is 14 years old and to be sincere I haven’t seen anybody as dull as him. I don’t know if it is natural but I just can’t understand why someone at that age could still be struggling with very simple arithmetic. My brother can’t write 1 – 150 correctly at 14.

He seems too dull; note he attends one of the best private school around our area, though I know you might say maybe education is not his way but even if you want to drop out from school you should know some basic things like money, time, multiplication and so on but my brother doesn’t know anything I must say, even to write his name correctly is a problem. It is making everyone unhappy lot of money is being spent on lesson teachers and other things for him still no improvement.

I am a student of one of the top federal University in Nigeria same as my other siblings even at both secondary and undergraduate level we were always above average so I can’t say his problem is genetic. I really wants to know what is the problem with him nairalanders. After I finished secondary school I once taught some pupils in primary school though there were dull ones too there but with time I could see improvement unlike my brother i always try to teach him from time to time but it kind of frustrating as he doesn’t even seems like he will ever grab anything and he doesn’t behave like he wants to learn anything.

He makes it seems as if he is not interested book or arithmetic at all …we all tried talking to him endless time to always read any time he his less busy but he never does except he is being forced.

He rarely talks, he loves to keep to himself always, he doesn’t have interest in anything unlike we the others that are die hard football fans, most times my mom will tell him to even go out to play and mingle he will not still want to go, he prefer to stay at home seating all day without reading or doing anything, even if it is to draw or play football he wont.

This matter is not making everyone happy at home we don’t even know the solution to his problem again, as in imagine having a child that is 14 years old that doesn’t know the difference between 17 and 71 it is just so bad…..

We don’t know if his case is mental or spiritual. please nairalanders I know there are child experts in the house or anybody who have experienced something like this before what do you think is the problem and possible solutions to the problem your contributions are welcome.

Please help me push this pleaseeeeee

[quote author=codedguy1 post=74683549]What is the meaning of a revenue generating agency? That is nonsense as far as am concerned.

So people working in the education ministry must earn less than someone who works in a revenue generating agency as if education is not supposed to be one of the high earning agency.

Those working in the so called rga are just lucky yo be there and has nothing to do with their abilities.

Anyone in the health, education, security and judiciary are the people that should have a slightly higher salary scale. Then maybe engineers etc who do dangerous constructive work. Every other person should be made to earn on the same scale with a reasonable minimum

There are tons of revenue generating agencies that earn double of what firs earn despite them not contributing as much as Firs to the pot.Check out Nimasa,Npa,Ndic, cbn etc. There is no way this disparity can be addressed without it starting from the political office holders.A lot of restructuring has to be done even Ceos' of these agencies don't rely on their salaries with perks that include security votes which by the way is the greatest scam in this country.

PrettyCrystal:
Residents of Ekiti are calling on the government to step up security in the state due to the incessant killings.

The latest being the killing of an accountant who worked at Emure local government by unknown gunmen. He was said to have been trailed and shot at close range by the armed men alleged to be robbers on Wednesday, January 2, (yesterday) along Ogbese Ikere road.

The corpse of the deceased has been evacuated and deposited at the mortuary.

This is coming just few days after gunmen shot dead 37-year-old councilor representing Ado Ward 9 at Ado Local Government Council in Ekiti, Deji Akeredolu.

Akeredolu was on his way home at the Onala area of Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital, when the incident happened.

Akeredolu and his wife were said to have alighted from a motorbike at the junction to their house at about 10pm when the gunmen struck and fired shots at him from the back.

May God keep blessing you.

This is precisely how I feel about safarigirl. She is in a man's World on this thread and any disagreement against her ideas looks to her like it is because she is a woman, that is why people disagree with her. She lets her emotions take over to drive her point. I have learnt to understand it and take it easy on her. I also take time to explain my point when I disagree with her.

It is baffling men will want to go into verbal sparring with her. Let us learn to tolerate each other.
For me you are the General for this particular thread. But you are also the number one problem that girl has.I have never seen you chide her for wrong behaviour an attitude she exhibits all too often. You condone her a lot.It doesn't matter if she is the only lady here. What is bad for a guy is bad for a lady.Please.

the most shameful thing I have ever done was to exchange word wit a woman...that's the paramount reason why some man near their wives...which is very wrong...
women express their emotions wit their words...and if you should go wit what they say...it will bring out the beast in you...
Do you know I used to look forward to this thread because of safarigirl?I enjoyed her analysis a lot but then I discovered she was a very aggressive person who insults people at will.Like I said I hardly comment but I have had cause to do that on about 5 occasions just to correct her ill behaviour.Insult is Insult o.If you abuse someone you have no right to determine what their form of abuse should be in return.Although it was excessive but the fault lies with her.

If I speak now a few may still say I am taking sides...... I have known safarigirl more than I have known Sir Andrew....

... But I will just say this.... I just gotta speak...

Safarigirl NNE... Biko you didn't have to do that. You already said in your reply to Sir Mujtahida that you sef dey vex today... You guys were obviously at loggerheads over "Man City no go win am again next season or not" talk and the talk of back-to-back in recent times or so....... You had your stand.. He had his. He obviously came in kinda hard though but he didn't insult you... He only described you first with the words "Madam nothing special about EPL"... Yes.. That was just a slight jab. Nothing to it.

But a little later you kinda got riled up at how he was just quoting you every step of the way to debunk your stand and you said he should take his frustrated self outta your mentions... You also asked if his brain was paining him... And that he lacks comprehension I think...

Well there you have it Safarigirl... You allowed your anger (which you were already feeling + Andrew's hard stance against your points) to get the better of you there kinda... You said things that will definitely deflate his ego. This obviously made him attack you in such debasing manner but...... But....

...but that brings me to Sir Andrew now...

Sir Andrew444..... Bloody hell!!!! angry You really took it very low mister.... I remembered I once called you out on this parent thing... You did it once before on a member here. I remember it like yesterday. Now you know I have nothing against you... And you are also one of the good guys here... Imagine my shock when I read your replies and saw you mention her father and mother calling her mom a lovepeddler... And her father a fool..... For Goodness sake.. Her mother is even no more. Goodness me! And you don't even fucking know her... God!

Sir Andrew... See ehn.. If you want to insult the daylights out of her..... If you wanna have a good personal go at her... Then face her alone... And just her... Go ahead okay (even though I don't endorse it)... But LEAVE HER PARENTS OUT OF THE FUCKING FIGHT AND DEBATE EQUATION.... It is no longer a debate even... But a brawl

You don't have to disrespect parenthood.... I have great respect and regards for people's parents. And I am sure every decent human being does too. I know you do too.... But today, you have let yourself down. This is not you. I mildly advised you about this same thing many many pages ago. Now I find myself repeating same thing to you...

Sir Andrew... Please... You went too far with her parents... You were utterly wrong to bring them in. All those words you called them... Does it even make you feel better? Does it make you feel fulfilled? Please does it bring you closer to your lifegoals? Come on Man! You got parents too...you didn't fall from the sky...

Why descend so low? And see now..... She also replied you in same manner you meted it out to her.... You people are not Animals... It is okay to fight sometimes... But do it with some bit of honor......... Have some dignity even when riled up.... Don't insult people's parents.. Never go that low. It is absolutely disgusting.

If only you knew her mother.... Just like I don't know yours... For Goodness sake... Don't act like animals people... Please!!! Fucking please!!!!

Sir Andrew444.... Please be the gentleman and apologise for insulting her parents. That was disgusting. And you f**king know it!
Do it because you are a gentleman and not necessarily because she is a lady... I agree with Sir Komekn (second time I dey agree with this Man... Am I safe? )... You really should apologise...

No more on this anymore... Gosh! No wonder the pages went two up after I congratulated Sir TheGoodJoe.
I am sorry I am draggingredients us backnow to page 3332 the scene of the altercation between one safarigirl and Andrew444. I do not know if they have made up and kissed before typing this as I needed to pause reading in order to type this.Everybody on this thread knows by now that girl is abusive, intolerant of views contrary to hers and just very aggressive. But do you know why she has not stopped,it is because some regulars on here including you until now fail to rein her in.Safarigirl if indeed you are a girl you need to change your ways. You abused that guy first.I do not have up to 20 comments on nairaland but I think about 5 of them are about how caustic your tongue is.You provoked that guy to insulting your mum (not fair though).Change your ways please I do not like typing everytime to talk about your insolent attitude.

Hmm July 10 1999.My own story goes thus. I was supposed to have a mgt info systems test on the sat morning and I read well into the night. However I couldnt sleep soundly because of the kegite gyration going on. At about 3 in the morning (not sure of the time again) there were sounds of gun shot and my reaction was "how dare these kegites dem no know where dem dey".Awo hall of all places.By the way I occupied a room in blk 7 first floor. The next I heard was go into the rooms, go into the rooms, gun them down. I got up from the bed by now everybody in the room was fully awake and panic set in. I got into my moccasin shoes ready to bolt when the need arose. We all shepherded ourselves to the balcony. When I noticed the bastards were on my block I had to act. I told my roomies we should jump down but they refused. They tried to hold me back but I pulled away and jumped landing awkwardly. I got up and after my first step I was pulled down by the clothing lines at the back of my block 7 I got and took flight again but was pulled down yet again by the clothing lines in front of block 6 I summoned courage and ran further to the fence at the back of block 6.By this time I was fagged out and after a third attempt to jump the fence, someone thankfully ran into me and pushed me over the fence. At the other side we were about 5 in number .I was so breathless that the sound of my breath could wake up a drunk. After 20 or 30 mins in the bush we came out to behold an atmosphere of grief, fear and sadness. Meanwhile after the attack my friends had gonee to my room to look for me and were told my whereabout was unknown.I met them crying like babies. The immediate aftermath of the attack was not very pleasant as we lived in perpetual fear of further reprisals. The Lanre legacy led SUG really tried in apprehending Efosa and Co. But OAU wahala too much heard they are on strike again. Sighs heavily.

@ mrfellory, you hate me? Hate is a very strong word to use on someone you barely know and have never met. Did I ever attack you? Did I kill someone close to you? Have I stolen from you? Does being stubborn and opinionated warrant bing hated by someone who only know an internet personality.

You all should watch the terms you use,you may dislike certain traits, but when you hate someone, you pur yourself in a bad light. If you are a Christian, you can never make heaven when you hate someone. I have altercations with many people here, but I have never attacked anyone someone else was attacking, nor have I arrived weeks after an altercation to post anything vile at one person. If you were as buy as you claim, you would not have time to read through altercations

And I can say that I certainly hate nobody, I may meet some people in reality and like their offline personalities, it is folly to judge anyone on what is said on a forum.

You don't even have your picture online, I have mine right there, anyone can see me and for those who hate me, you can even block me. I'm not talking smack and hiding my face.

97% of people who attack me here don't even have the guts to put a face to their words.
