Politics › Re: Over 28 Years And This Is My First Time Experience In Getting My PVC by femi4: 5:37pm On Jun 08
isaiah4life:
For over 28 year, I have had the mentality of Our vote doesn't count and it has made me lose interest in either voting. Every election I always sleep in my place and only followed online. Today, it changed and I decided for the first time in my life I will get mine.

My experience will help those who are like me.

=> How Much It Took Me To Get It. Because I was staying at the outsketch of Abuja. I had to do it at Bwari. From my place to Bwari costed me 2,400 going and 2,400 coming back.

THE PROCESS:

I got there on Friday June 5 2026 and the location at Bwari is Inec office opposite Federal high court Bwari. The bike man took me from where the cab dropped closed to Jamb office to the Inec office for 200 naira.

On Friday, there was no network. It was only one BVAS machine Bwari Inec office had. I was so disappointed and I waited from 7am till 3:30pm and that was how I couldn't do it on Friday. With the frustration and hunger in my face, I was given a serial number. Only few of the staff knew how to calm us down. The rest were trying to discourage us from staying around.

Fast forward till Monday the 8th June 2026. I spent another 4,800 naira to the centre. For money I don't have. The staff resumed at about 8:48am. I was there by 6am and The gate was clocked until when the security guy came to open it. This time around there was two BVAS machine for the registration.

A sensitization was done before 9am a staff told us that if you are for a fresh registration you should do a pre registration with your phone on their website. The only issue is that for those trying to upload their photos, it will be difficult but keep trying and if you can't. When you are allowed inside their office, the staff will do it for you.

After sitting down on a stone for over an hour. My number from Friday was called and I entered. One thing. There is no chairs for applicants to seat at the Inec office.

I showed the man my phone application and he used my number on the slip to enter my information and I did thumb print for my four left and right fingers and thumb. He then proceed with capturing my face with the bvas machine. You will be forced to smile or else it won't go through. Guess what? The network was so so bad. I sat down there in front of the man for close to 15 minutes.

A slip was generated for me which I attached and I took it to a lady within the office and she entered my information from the slip before I was asked to use an ink to thumbprint on a paper. I was asked to go and photocopy the slip for future reference.

This was an eye opening experiencing. I started on Friday and ended on Monday. Some centre might be less but if you are around Bwari Local Government Area of Abuja. This is your case. I am so tired now from the pushing and stress. Please don't give up on the stress. It can be frustrating but try.
It will still not count..las las you will go to court where our people dey wait for you

Romance › Re: He Cancelled The Wedding Because I Missed His Father's Funeral… by femi4: 9:56pm On Jun 07
AdisGlobal01:
SHE_NEEDS_YOUR_ADVICE

My wedding was scheduled for March this year, but everything changed after my fiancé's father passed away unexpectedly in November.

His funeral was held just three weeks later, in December. I genuinely wanted to attend, but there was one major problem: my employer had a strict policy against granting leave during the December holiday period. When I accepted the job, this condition was clearly stated. Despite explaining my situation and pleading for an exception, my request was denied.

I informed my fiancé immediately. At first, he appeared understanding. I even contributed financially to support the funeral arrangements.

Then his mother called.

She told me that if I truly wanted to become part of their family, I had to be physically present at her husband's funeral. I tried explaining my circumstances, but she ended the call before I could finish.

When I called my fiancé afterward, I expected him to stand by me. Instead, he asked:

"If it were your own father, wouldn't you find a way to attend?"

I explained that the situations were different because my employer might make an exception if it were my immediate family member.

That was when he dropped the bombshell:

"No presence. No wedding."

I thought grief was speaking. I thought time would calm him down.

I was wrong.

The wedding was officially cancelled.

My family tried everything to reconcile the situation, but his family refused every attempt. Eventually, my father advised me to accept the loss and move forward with my life.

It broke me, but I did.

Months passed.

Then, on May 20th, my ex-fiancé called me.

What he said left me speechless.

According to him, I had failed the test of being a good wife because I stopped trying to convince his family after the wedding was cancelled. He said a "real wife" would have kept begging until she was accepted.

Then he announced that he had "forgiven" me.

Not only that, he had already chosen a new wedding date in August and expected me to start preparing immediately.

As if the breakup had never happened.

As if my feelings didn't matter.

As if he alone had the authority to decide when a relationship ends—and when it resumes.

Without hesitation, I told him I was no longer interested.

His response shocked me even more.

He said:

"I'm not done. You don't have the right to be done."

I blocked his number immediately.

But that wasn't the end.

A few days later, he appeared at my father's house carrying the bride price and all the marriage items he had previously rejected.

My father told him clearly:

"My daughter has moved on. As far as this family is concerned, she is no longer available."

Still, he refused to accept it.

Since then, he and his mother have continued calling, visiting, and pressuring both me and my family despite my repeated refusal.

Now I'm beginning to wonder:

Is this really about love, or is there something deeper behind their sudden determination?

What troubles me most is the mindset that someone can cancel a wedding, disappear for months, return when it suits them, and expect another person to simply obey.

I am now considering legal action because the constant calls, visits, and refusal to respect my decision are becoming disturbing.

My question is:

If someone ends a relationship, then later decides to "forgive" you and resume the wedding without your consent, would you see that as love... or as a dangerous sense of entitlement?

What would you do if you were in my shoes?
You are dating a baby

I remembered leaving a girl cos she was giving attitude cos I didn't attend her mum's burial

Na bf I be ...I no be her husband

So na gf you be, you no be his wife

The teacher needs to be arrested and made to explain why she cut the boy's hair. If you have issues with the boy's hair, notify the parents about it. What rights do you have to cut someone else's child's hair?
It would have been better if that's the case. No one in the school could give account of what happened to the boy's hair and finger nails

Poor Girls, the same ones who'll keep yapping about not being able to date a guy who doesn't have money as if they've got any. They are out looking for a guy to carry away their family problems, give them a house to live in and a car to drive. In fact marriage is a lot like winning the lottery for a poor girl. In the long run a poor girl cannot be trusted because she's a fake right from the start, she's in it as long as it pays her.
In order to raise the stakes let's identify a poor girl as:

A girl with no car.
A girl from a poor family.
A girl who can't pay her own bills.
Any girl who doesn't match your status.

If the ladies say they can't date without money why can't the guys do the same. Holla!
A first born from a poor home...run o. E get why

jamp:
The world is just 4 days away. There are records yet to be broken since the inception of the tournament in 1930. Could this records be broken this year.

Here are some records.

1. No foreign coach has ever won the men’s FIFA World Cup with a national team of a different nationality.

Every one of the 21+ World Cup-winning managers (across 22 tournaments) has been a native of the country they led to victory. This holds true from the first edition in 1930 (Uruguay’s Alberto Suppici) through Argentina’s Lionel Scaloni in 2022.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_FIFA_World_Cup_winning_managers

2. Most goals in a single tournament: Just Fontaine (France) with 13 goals in 6 matches (1958). Modern Golden Boot winners typically score 5–8 goals; no one has come close in decades.

3. Youngest goalscorer: Pelé (Brazil) at 17 years, 239 days (vs. Wales, 1958). Extremely unlikely due to player development and squad selection norms.

4. Oldest player to appear: Essam El-Hadary (Egypt) at 45 years, 161 days (2018). Goalkeepers can push this, but it’s a high bar.

5. Oldest goalscorer: Roger Milla (Cameroon) at 42 years, 39 days (1994). Still stands strong.

6. Biggest margin of victory: Hungary 10–1 El Salvador (1982). Double-digit scores are rare in the modern era with better defenses and professionalism.

7. Highest goals scored by a single player in a match Oleg salenko scored 6 in 94 Russia vs cameroon

Like say Portugal has always had many stars... this generation of talents that Portugal have today were inspired by the great Ronaldo.... if Portugal always had stars , why had they never appeared in any final b4 Ronaldo, why had they only qualified for 3 world cups in their entire history b4 Ronaldo....Portugal was no different from countries like Poland, Ireland, Sweden.... teams that will never have a chance to the glory of an international trophy ... and u wanna compare them to Argentina, a colossus in football... Portugal have never even hosted the world cup , Argentina won their first WC as hosts ... the top 5 leagues in Europe are England, Spain Italy Germany and France...then In south America,, its Brazil and Argentina...do u know how that affects the national team ?? It improves grassroot players ... since the beginning of the modern champions league in 92 all winners have come from these same 5 leagues , apart from 95 ( Holland) and 04 ( Portugal) , which both won by upsets...the rest winners are from same top 5 leagues which have won 32 times out of 34... same goes to south America... since 92 , only 3 countries that isnt Brazil or Argentina have won it 4 times .... Paraguay in 02, Colombia in 04, Ecuador in 08 and Colombia in 2016 ...the rest of 30 wins is shared between Brazil and Argentina... there's no copa America final that dont feature Brazil or Argentina or both in that final ...now , is it a surprise that these countriesare the only ones that have ever won the world cup , apart from Uruguay that won it 76 years ago thru an upset ... now these are the same countriesthat are projeced to win the world cup ... Portugal have only played in 4 finals in their entire history and all happened since Ronaldojoined , with them winning 3 out of the 4 played... its like comparing a person's achievement playing for real madrid with another footballer playing for cologne in Germany ... do u know the great players that played alongside Messi in Argentina?? Pablo Aimer, zabaleta , the milito brothers, Juan Sebastian veron , Teves , aguero , di maria , higuain , saviola , Demichelis , Samuel , mascherano , Gago , zanetti , Riquelme , lauturo martinez, otamendi , Rojo , Ayala , cambiasso and he still cudnt win anything ... apart from Figo and rui Costa that were in their twilight of their career, then pepe , carvhalo , Quaresma, Deco , Nani pls mention another top star that played alongside Ronaldo over the years ..
Even after saying no epistle ..you still wrote an epistle

So portugal needs all the superstars of this world to beat morroco

In june 2022

Morocco was ranked 22 while portugal was ranked 9
