Edoblakky: And that was the team that drew Nigeria at Uyo, but we want to go and defeat south Africa away. We didn't prepare for this world cup as it stands
Even with having nothing to play for....Nigeria will still still struggle with them.
Can't pick a match in this qualification series that we won effortlessly
SarkinYarki: Some of us are speaking from history of the corrupt cesspit called Nigeria , this is not the first time a satellite will be lost months after fake launch na
Even if it does fail, by now it's reached the expired life
In an interview this afternoon, South Africa Coach, Hugo Broos ,don open mouth talk say, tru true , the pitch for South Africa vs Nigeria “no be the best”… but at the same time he come add say “ the pitch no too bad.”
But make we reason am 👇 🇿🇦 South Africa get plenty better pitches wey dem fit use. So why dem go carry this kain field? 🤔 Is it by mistake? I doubt it.
This one na clear strategy to disturb Nigeria players wey dey ball for Europe, because dem no dey used to this kain ground.
To me, this no be coincidence at all. E look like mind game — slow down our boys, frustrate our style, and hope say e fit give Bafana Bafana small edge.
But na here the matter dey sweet: sometimes this kind rough pitch fit even backfire on the home team.
Fifa has punished Nigeria for using an ineligible player in their final World Cup qualifier against Algeria in November.
The match in Constantine originally ended in a 1-1 draw but that has now been overturned and Algeria awarded a 3-0 win.
The sanction does not affect Nigeria's World Cup qualification as they had already clinched a place in Russia before the Algeria tie.
Abdullahi Shehu played the whole match against Algeria even though he should have been suspended for picking up yellow cards in two previous qualifiers.
The defender was cautioned in the Super Eagles 1-0 win over Zambia in October that sealed Nigeria's spot in Russia, having been shown a yellow card in the first leg of their second round tie against Swaziland in November 2015.
The Nigeria Football Federation has also been fined US$6,000 for the oversight
tctrills: We both disagree and I have already shared it with you. You claim the verse did not indicate Peter's financial condition but then not having money was his financial condition. What else do you want to read? Do you want the scriptures to print Peter's bank balance?
Since you cannot share Peter's financial status the way other were presented, gladly embrace your L and move on
tctrills: How does this concern the man that carried Jesus and Cornelius? Is their money Peter's money. Peter said he doesn't have money, he did not say that he did not have money at that moment. You see you are the one adding verses that were never written. .
I meant Jesus' body not cross Read to understand not to argue
When Scripture describes a person’s financial status, like Joseph of Arimathea being called a rich man or Cornelius being a centurion of means, we accept that because the Bible itself makes it clear ,but in Peter’s case, there is no such description.
What we do see is his own statement in Acts 3:6 - “Silver and gold have I none.”
Since the Bible does not expand further on his financial situation, the safest and most faithful approach is to leave it exactly where Scripture leaves it, without adding assumptions.
tctrills: He said he has money, that's clearly telling you his financial situation. Some one says he has no money and you say he has money, who is adding to the scriptures. Two grown men had no money to give to a beggar but somehow you want to create a new narrative after they clearly told you that they had no money.
The man that carried Jesus body and cornelius were described as wealthy
The narrator clearly stated that Peter was with no money at the time he was begged for it
Nothing about his whole financial status was stated here...Never add to the scripture
Zionmdde: Oga relate isaiah 53:9 to your donkey story or did Jesus make his grave with the donkey? Na wa ooooo People will just come out will their full chest and be talking what they don't know
If you can't link both....you ll have to go back to Bible school. Unfortunately, I can't spoon feed you
tctrills: Peter clearly told you that he did not have silver or gold (money) what more do you need him to tell you for you to figure out that he was not a wealthy man?
His financial status wasn't stated either..stop adding to the scripture
The passage didn't describe Peter as being wealthy or Poor
Zionmdde: Are you not the one who is supposed check if your English comprehension is OK What is the relationship between this your write up and Isaiah 53:9
That's the problem people like you have, even if you think you know what the verse says, why don't you open your Bible and do a little confirmation check
lolz...I have answered your question with scripture but unfortunately you couldn't come up with superior argument
Zionmdde: So we were being told despite he was rich he was a disciple? Or we were given a glimpse of the fulfillment of Isaiah 53:9
So how would that prophecy be fulfilled if a poor man went to ask for the body of Jesus
Lolz
If you do Comprehension in English...you ll understand better
How did the prophecy of him riding on a colt as a King fulfilled. Wasn't the colt gotten free
Mt 21: 2-3
saying to them, “Go to the village ahead of you, and at once you will find a donkey tied there, with her colt by her. Untie them and bring them to me. 3 If anyone says anything to you, say that the Lord needs them, and he will send them right away
Zionmdde: Why then was there need to describe Joseph's wealth in Mathew 27:57-60 And do you think pilate would have released the body to a nobody or a poor man?
The narrator explained that he was a disciple of jesus despite being rich.
His wealthy status was additional info for description..never a condition attached to releasing Jesus' body.
It was not recorded that pilate released Jesus body to him because he was rich
Mt 27:57-58
57 As evening approached, there came a rich man from Arimathea, named Joseph, who had himself become a disciple of Jesus. 58 Going to Pilate, he asked for Jesus’ body, and Pilate ordered that it be given to him.
That passage didn't mean Peter was poor. At that moment, they ( Peter n John) had no money on them to give to the begger at the beautiful gate...don't get it twisted
Act 3:1
One day Peter and John were going up to the temple at the time of prayer—at three in the afternoon
