In the trending clip, the husband is seen at a fueling station with his wife, as a female attendant fills their car with fuel. The husband, clearly thrilled, begins hailing his wife in a hilarious and dramatic fashion.

He walks around the car with his hand raised, showering her with praise and calling her pet names. In one funny moment, he says, “Lily Lily, you full my tank!” The wife, playing along, lifts her shoulders proudly and replies in pidgin, “Yes, tell them who I be. Hail me, hail me!”

He continues his praises with, “Lily Lily, you full my tank. Power dey your hand!” She responds again, saying, “Yes, tell dem who I be. Open the door for me, open the boot, open the bonnet for me!”

From the video, it's clear the couple shares a great sense of humor, as they both playfully fool around at the filling station.

Christianity Etc › Re: Why Jesus Always Associates With The Poor by femi4: 10:27am On May 18, 2025
Omooba77:
- Jesus was born in a manger, where animals were kept.

-On the day of his dedication, his parents could only afford doves, rather than lamb required by Moses.

- He commended the poor widow, for giving her mites

- He told people in Luke 9:56-62, that the son of man doesn't have where to lay his head.

-Though Jesus was rich, he became poor, so we can become rich.

2 Corinthians 8:9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that sthough he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich.

-He never despised the poor.
Most especially, He's interested in people that are poor in spirit

3 Times Jesus Showed Love To Poor Widows In The Bible

Mark 12:38-40 (KJV)

And he said unto them in his doctrine, Beware of the scribes, which love to go in long clothing, and love salutations in the marketplaces,
And the chief seats in the synagogues, and the uppermost rooms at feasts:
Which devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayers: these shall receive greater damnation.

Mark 12:41-44 (KJV)

And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much.
And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing.
And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury:
For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.

Luke 7:11-15 (KJV)

And it came to pass the day after, that he went into a city called Nain; and many of his disciples went with him, and much people.
Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her.
And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not.
And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.
And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother.

Yet another proof that no man showed love, care and compassion to the poor and needy than the Jesus of the Bible.

God bless.

Christianity Etc › Re: Can A Christian Still Be Holy With The Way The World Is Corrupt & Immoral? by femi4: 10:12am On May 18, 2025
ebubeson:
The temptation for immorality, corruption, gambling, clubbing, hookup, gay, lesbianism, rituals, fraud, pornography, infidelity may be highest than ever before. Now, can a Christian still be holy with all these? Is holiness possible?.

A Christian in this era can even be holier than Christians who were in the era of no social media, low indecency, low corruption e.t.c. But one of the issues why it is more difficult to be holy in this era is not just the issue of immorality, corruption e.t.c, but the issue of no gospel power. If the undiluted gospel is preached with power and preached regularly in churches, many Christians will be transformed and become holy no matter the level of corruption and evil in the society. One of the things that kept Christians of old was not the fact that there was no social media, low corruption e.t.c, but that the gospel preached at that time was undiluted and with power.

If the church can go back to undiluted gospel with power and operate with the Spirit of God instead of religion, many Christians will be transformed into the image of Christ. But if the church focuses more on favour, religion, church tradition, worshipping of church, idolatory, prosperity, making money, marriages, riches, getting visas, progressing in career e.t.c, it may not have its people become holy.

Heb 12:14 "Follow peace with all men, and holiness without which no man shall see the Lord"

You can start your journey into holiness by saying " Lord Jesus Christ, forgive all my sins, break the yoke of sin and come into my life today"

Find a good church. Happy Sunday!

while we now have big investors or owners in some clubs, good players will still prefer for big teams than small teams, so clubs having money is not everything, shey dem get pull?
You can only field 11-15 regular players. No player will go to where he won't have regular playing time. E.g Palmer left City for Chelsea

Trevor on loan to Palace before being recalled

In all these, you need money to finalise these moves

Today's Ligue 1 fixture is a match that is largely dead-rubber but presents a mouth-watering encounter between two mid-table teams.
Nice placed 4th with the best league defence will be hoping to do one over Brest, placed 8th.

The match which will hold today promises to be the cynosure of all eyes as they try to do one over each other. Brest who had their debut in the UEFA Champions League last year, commanded a lot of following with supporters worldwide queueing to see their games

The Nice Brest encounter holds by 8pm and promises to be a good one.
