I don't rate him that much, he's inconsistent. You can't shine in one match and ghost in five. It's so unfortunate Mudryk has decided not to come outta his shell, that guy got the potentials to replicate what Hazard achieved at Chelsea with good mentorship.
Chelsea team lacks leadership, they play like a bunch of school boys...... Maresca should work on that.
Rating is relative. He's an improvement to sterling. We lost mudryk to sanction this season as well. We were fighting for the title in the first half of the season, a proof that we were in the right direction. The team need better bench that's as good as the starter not necessarily leadership
Bahamas95: No difference between Poch and Maresca, they're both mediocre coaches without winning mentality.......I still see Chelsea struggling next season if Maresca doesn't change his mindset. He doesn't behave like a typical Italian, Italians are known to be rugged in their approach to things.
Chelsea MUST flush out some unserious players and replace with players with fighting spirit. They play without purpose and direction, if not for the outstanding performance of Caicedo, Cucurellaa and few others I wonder where they would have been on the table now.
Maresca is better...offloaded Sterling and brought in Sancho.
We started having issues when Palmer n Jackson couldn't find there feet with no topnotch replacement on the bench
Editorialtimes: Abuja, Nigeria – President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reiterated his unwavering commitment to restoring security across Nigeria and ensuring that all citizens can live without fear. The President made this known during a meeting with the Charismatic Bishops Conference of Nigeria, led by its General Secretary, Archbishop Chivir Chianson, at the State House in Abuja.
Represented by his Special Adviser on Policy Communications, Mr. Daniel Bwala, the President emphasized that his administration would continue to take decisive action against all forms of criminality, stressing that insecurity knows no tribe or religion.
He noted that the government’s approach to security would be all-encompassing, calling for a united front where evil is condemned collectively—regardless of religious or ethnic affiliations.
In addition to security efforts, Bwala highlighted that recent economic reforms implemented by the Tinubu-led administration are already yielding positive outcomes, such as increased revenue for states and a significant reduction in strike actions.
Responding on behalf of the delegation, Archbishop Chianson praised the Tinubu administration for its landmark reforms and inclusive leadership style. He lauded the recent approval for the recruitment and deployment of forest guards, describing it as a timely intervention to curb rising insecurity in forested areas.
The Archbishop also informed the President about the group’s upcoming 2025 Synod, which will focus on intercessory prayers for national peace and the empowerment of members in rural communities.
Other senior clergymen present included Archbishop James Maljit, Deputy National President (North), Archbishop Joseph Jatau Yari, National Vice President (Northwest), Archbishop Alexander Nyoonkyeh of the Benue Province, and Bishop David Gyang of the Plateau Province.

Anytime i go to the salon to cut my hair, white stuffs is seen flying everywhere, like powder being blown by breeze! Inside the following week after the barbing, after a while when through with my bath, my head will be shinning all white with dry white flakes falling from my head. Maybe when my hair is now fully grown back, nobody notices the white stuff again. After sometime when i visit the salon again for an hair-cut, the problem continues again!
NOTE: i have tried many solutions but no one has been effective! How do i get it off my hair/head?
tunnyl: Let’s be honest—music is everywhere. You step out of your house in Lagos, and before you reach the main road, you’ve already heard three Afrobeats hits, an old Fuji classic, and somebody testing their speaker with loud amapiano. I won’t lie—I love music too. In fact, I analyze lyrics like I’m about to submit a PhD thesis on Wizkid’s discography.
But despite my love for music, I had to reduce my listening drastically. Why? Because once you let music colonize your brain, you might unknowingly turn your solat into a remix session.
1. Music Hijacks Your Mind—Even During Prayer
If you’ve ever tried to pray, only for your brain to suddenly start humming the latest viral song, congratulations—you’ve been musically possessed. 🤦🏽 Example? Imagine you’re peacefully reciting Surah Al-Fatiha in solat, then suddenly, your mind interrupts: "Bismillah-ir-Rahman-ir-Raheem…" "She tell me say na money dey make am fine…" Next thing you know, instead of Inna atayna, you're about to accidentally say Lilafi Quraish and mix up Quranic verses with Davido lyrics. At that moment, even your guardian angel is confused.
2. Music Keeps You Far from Allah
Allah encourages us to remember Him frequently—ponder on His words, recite Quran, make dhikr. But let’s be real: music is very seductive to the ears. Instead of reciting Subhanallah after solat, your brain tells you: "You’ve listened to Quran for two minutes, now let’s balance it with Burna Boy for two hours." And just like that, music occupies your mind while pushing remembrance of Allah further down the priority list.
3. It Becomes an Addiction
Music is designed to be mentally addictive—especially modern beats that are scientifically crafted to trigger dopamine (your brain’s "happy hormone". Once you start listening, you want more, and before you know it, you can’t function without music playing in the background.
4. Music Influences Mood and Actions
Music subtly affects your emotions and behavior. Ever noticed how listening to slow, emotional songs can make you feel sad for no reason? Or how a hype song makes you want to go to the gym (even though you’ll probably just lie down afterward)? Now imagine you’re supposed to be reading Quran and reflecting, but instead, your mind is replaying that heartbreak song from five years ago. That emotional shift pulls you away from the spiritual clarity you need.
The balance between love of music and ones connection with Allah is tough, but the rewards of focusing on Allah far outweigh the momentary pleasure of a catchy tune.
May Allah give us the strength to resist, or at least stop turning our solat into an accidental playlist shuffle. Ameen. 😅
