None of the teams that have qualified so far would make it to the quarter finals. It was easy for them cos they don't really have much competition in their continent.

Nigeria is in a very tight spot tho. Only God can save us.
Nigeria group is one of the easiest. We have no business not close to qualified by now. The likes of Algeria, Morocco n Egypt are sitting comfortably at the top of their group

May his soul rest in peace.
Whether Tinubu immortalizes him or not, he'll always be remembered as the only credible INEC chairman Nigeria has ever produced.
He wasn't independent. Remove the 'I'

After all, it was NEC in his time and he was a coward that couldn't stand for the truth n damn the consequences
Politics › Re: IBB: Prof Nwosu Announced Suspension Of June 12 Result Without My Approval by femi4: 9:01am On Mar 29, 2025
LegendHero:
I was arguing this same thing yesterday even without seeing IBB book yet.

—The result being collated are what the NEC state coordinators sent to Abuja through their electoral commissioner.

This is akin to each state releasing 2023 presidential election by those returning officer. Then take that to Abuja for INEC chairman to announce official result and return the president.

The media only announce those result as projection of the winner.

—Those result from those state NEC returning officers are what is being displayed by Prof Nwosu NEC. He never announced the official winner and cowardly close the announcement but yet, somehow miraculously, they want us to immortalize such cowardice.

Immortalizing this will mean turning historical truth on its head. Why should we honor cowardice?
Imagine that clown asking how you know MKO won. Genz won't stop to amaze me

CondemnBattery:
Honestly, I think Music ministers(levites) should be honored and rewarded.

Truth be told, good music isnt cheap.

Haven been in the choir and an instrumentalist almost all my youth, I can state that the dedication put in by instrumentalists is crazy. I doubt if even pastors spend that much time preparing their sermons.

As for me I didnt play to be paid.
But doesn't mean others shouldn't be paid, cos most of them have no other jobs than music
Millions goes into production

Let churches also invest n rely on their chorister

They should stop using popular gospel music ministers to attract crowd

Politics › Re: Why Is SW Senators Against Immortalisation Of Humphrey Nwosu June 12 by femi4: 1:02pm On Mar 28, 2025
Agboriotejoye:
Stop lying on behalf of Oshiomole. Even on the floor of the senate, he was corrected for lying that the man didn't "confess" that Abiola won till he died

There are those who also ran away for their dear lives and are still being hailed as heroes of democracy today

So why is Nwosu being singled out as a coward for saving his own life as well?

If he was a coward, those who ran away are also cowards don't you think? They should have stayed around and faced death or imprisonment for what they believed in
Don't act dumb
The issue Oshiomole raised isn't about confession but about doing the right thing at the right time

Politics › Re: Why Is SW Senators Against Immortalisation Of Humphrey Nwosu June 12 by femi4: 10:56am On Mar 28, 2025
Agboriotejoye:
Oshiomole lied

The results were being announced at the collation center untill a court order stopped it

Nwosu later announced the full results in his book in 2008

Oshiomole who is today lying and calling for announcement of results is the same Chairman of APC who presided over the annulment of results in Osun in 2018 and thereafter said politicians should be able to bear the pain of rigging

That's your new source of political morality
That was not what oshiomole said

How can you announce full result of 1993 election in 2018...that's nonsense

The brave ones faced the military when the heat was on. MKO declared himself as the president. Others were imprisoned but he chickened out.

If you can't stand for something, you fall for everything
