Politics › Re: Of What Significance Is The Size Of Africa? by femi4: 6:41pm On Sep 07
lawani:
Of what significance is the size of Africa?

Africa is big but how many people can it really support? The population a land can support is determined mainly by how well watered the land is. For example a plot of land in say Osun state or Imo state in Southern Nigeria is worth more than 2.5 times it's equivalent in say Borno state in Nigeria in terms of agricultural productivity. If the Borno plot can produce one tonne of maize then the plot in Osun or Imo should be able to produce 2.5 tonnes and this is mainly because of water resources in the case of maize. Southern Nigeria can plant maize at least two times a year and the far North can not unless on irrigated land.

In the same way, Africa as a whole is big but it also contains the largest hot desert on Earth by far. Land that is almost useless for Agriculture India on the other hand is maybe one sixth of Africa but the land is well watered, very fertile and it feeds more people than the African population. It also produces excess food for export including excess cattle.

Therefore it is not the dog in the fight that matters but the fight (water resources) in the dog when it comes to land resources. Many countries that are many times the size of Nigeria will never be able to support twenty percent of Nigeria's population. You may think you need some resources like crude oil and etc as a nation but your most important need is actually water resources. Water is life

Car Talk › Re: I Changed My Car Colour, Now This Is Happening To Me. by femi4: 6:31pm On Sep 07
Axel1:
Hello nairalanders, about 6 days ago i re-sprayed my car from dark blue to white. I told the guy that normally does my car papers for me and he asked me to do an affifavid and police report, which i paid him to do.

Yesterday i was driving and the police stopped me, i showed them my complete documents and the affifavid and police report too of the "change of colour I did"

That was when he initially noticed that i have changed the car colour, he called his colleagues that are around and stopping other cars ny by the other side of the road and they took my car to the station, that the affifavid and police report that i did isn't enough to back the change of colour that i did. Please is it really possible and true that the affifavid and police report isn't enough to back up the change of colour that i did? My car is still at the station at the moment, i don't have the 250k they're requesting to bail the car, i have been pleading for 100k but they refused.
You are suppose to re register the car

oroje1:
Please o my people, let me call myself a JJC here, I've lived in this apartment for a while now , just over 3 years to be precise, my landlord died recently, but while he was alive even though he was a bit strict, he was understanding and liberal in most of his expectations from us the tenants. Now the son in charge of the he house is something more or less a tyrant, I said so because our gate that has been broken for a while now, the young man said that it's we the tenants that should be responsible for the repairs, that the law of the land says so.... That that's what the law Court syipulates.... So I'm asking, is that true? There may be someone in the house who may know about this so well.
So all of you cannot call welder n contribute to fix the gate

Landlord is only responsible for major remodelling like roofing, fence, soakaway, leaks into the wall etc

ZabiraECP:
PE Has Turned Me Into a Professional Avoider of Women

Good day, guys.

I have a severe case of premature ejaculation (PE). It's so bad that I barely last 5 seconds during sex. I used to masturbate heavily years ago, but I stopped completely over 4 years ago. Even back then, I could last around 20 minutes in the first round.

I'm physically fit too. I exercise every week and can comfortably run 10 laps of a standard football pitch, so I don't think it's simply a fitness issue.

I've tried pelvic floor exercises, watermelon, and the ginger + garlic + honey remedy shared by Yemmit90 here on Nairaland, but none has helped (I dont know if I did it wrongly).

To be honest, this has affected my confidence so much that I now avoid women. Imagine chasing a girl who's been forming hard to get for over 5 weeks, only to finally get the chance and finish in less than 5 seconds. It's honestly embarrassing.

If anyone has genuinely overcome this whether through medication, a doctor's treatment, or something that actually works, please share your experience. I really need help.

How many years did you wait before repainting your building?

To be sincere, the painter used quality paint for me back then. If not for the renovation, I honestly wouldn’t have bothered repainting the building.

8 YEARS LATER, and the paint still held up! 👌🏽

Quality materials really matter. 💯

Goo0dHardDick:
Is it just me or anyone else?

I watch animation movies (cartoon videos) far more than any other video online or offline. Nigeria nollywood is like complete nonsense to me. Hollywood and horror movies are ok but you see cartoons? They're the best for me. One would think they are meant for kids but I'm adult and I enjoy watching cartoons alot. Cartoons such as Nezha, checkered nigga, rio, Big hero etc are all supergreat!

Does anyone feels the same?
I don't

I only enjoy movies when their actions are almost real. Animation wont give that
