Also, at minus 63 degrees Celsius lowest temp. Yakutsk is the coldest city in the world. Farmers can only farm for about three months a year and livestock's farming requires considerably high amount of energy to maintain temperature requirements. These factors ensures that food prices remain high in Yakutsk especially in winter. But how expensive are these food items exactly?

Note that these I purchased these food items in a retail supermarket. Also, things are expensive in Russia right now dues to sanctions which is the irony of the whole thing.
Despite economic issues and sanctions, Russia is still able to provide a quality standard of living to foreigners and their citizens even in a remote city like our Yakutsk.❤️
