ndidibabe: My mum will be visiting me in Canada for the first time by January and she is 69 years old. She will also be going to UK to see my younger ones.
I need advice on the basic necessities that will make her stay worthwhile. I do not want to a miss thing paticularly as regards keeping her healthy.
Any suggestions on where to get her suitable clothing in Nigeria for that age travelling to a cold region for the first time? Guys, I need your kind suggestions.
As it isn't summer, cos of her age, keep her warm at all times. Warm water drinking, no oyinbo food, no sugar. Your radiator or heating system should be on...not a time to save money.
Kobojunkie: Letting you know I don't reason as you religious folks do implies that thickening out? Do you know how to properly apply that term at all? 😂😂😂😂😂
We know you are frustrated especially if you caged and couldn't come up with a superior argument. Just embrace your L as you run along to drown in your folly
Fuckyoumod: 1 Corinthians 11:3 Paul says that men shouldn't wear head coverings in church because they are the image and glory of God. He also says that men wearing head coverings is like taking on the role of women, which is not God's design for spiritual headship.
1 Corinthians 11:5–13 The apostle Paul says that women should cover their heads during worship to honor God.
When it suits the Bible should be followed, when it doesn't suit it's not a commandment from Jesus.
The woman part is misinterpreted. The hair is already a covering for the woman
1 Corinthians 11:6, saying, “let her cover her head.” Then, in verse 15, he says, “For her hair is given to her for a covering
Shimmaa: This has been happening for while now, and it hurts when I blink my eyes, like something is stabbing my eyeball, and when I looked into the mirror, I see this object, it looks like a hair stuck in my eyeball. It will go away in the morning and comes back in the afternoon. I've used eyedrop but it's still coming back.
Pls what does that mean?
Don't do anything. It will take care of itself, it might take a while but our eyes performsself cleansing naturally.
Stop inviting problems into your life by applying eye drop
Sirchiboy: I have know this guy wayback in 2013. We live in this compound.
I could remember this was the period bet was popular so I normally use to win bet. Each time I have game I give them and we all we win.
I could remember when I won 250k in 2014 and my friends including this guy that is rich now escorted me to collect the winning.
I dash them money and bought drink ... Late 2016 we lost contact and I went back back to my state because things were hard for me.
2022 I heard that this guy has blow. He now has a company. Last month he bought a house and car in leakki.
I sent him chat on FB and he doesn't reply me.
I didn't ask him for money. I just asked him to give me one or two business idea and this guy read my messages.
Never reply me. The same thing happened too with these three Guys back in school that I use to help during exam .
These three guys have built houses, married and have cars. I am still here struggling. I swear and I have vowed that this earth will favor me and this money all of us make it. . . I repeat I swear and I have vowed that this earth will favor me and this money all of us make it. . . I repeat.
mokwechineme: It surprises me a lot that when you post something against Tinubu, there will be floods of comments attacking your post. I do get confused at this because I know the streets are not smiling. Even the middle-class are becoming desperately poor and everyone seems to be complaining. It's also only in nairaland I find some "obidients" mocking the "BATISTS" to embrace the suffering they got themselves into as if they are immune to the same hardship.
I think I need someone to educate me.
In the midst of adversity...one find strength. Fight the system not personality
CodeTemplar: The issue is how come they dont do same for criminals? I am sure if those scientists were based in Nigeria, they will be battling with PHD thesis or Bread/Pure Water/Soap making factories.
Honestly, na theory full the head of our people here
MadamVanessa: I deeply felt the absence of Pastor Abioye at this year's Shiloh. I thought despite being retired , he would still be present, but it was so shocking that he was not there.
Watching the event on TV yesterday, I couldn't help but feel a strong sense of longing. I've grown to admire and appreciate Pastor Abioye greatly, and his absence was deeply felt by me yesterday. I am not a Winners, but honestly I love BISHOP ABIOYE so much .
What a shame
Women n frivolities....They attend Church programmes to see men of God instead of God of men.
Fiscus105: Dele should proof his case with evidences, if not, use him as deterrent for others.
If you want to open rot in a system, do thorough and discreet investigation with facts and not just to "criticise, wail, conderm and attack" to get undeserved fame and possibly money.
Deterrent to others by not following due process....that's a kangaroo behaviour
The word Yoruba is even a recent word, there were no group known as the Yorubas until recent, all of them existed separately and kept waging tribal war against each other for years.
Egbas vs ijebus, ife vs modakeke, oyo vs ekiti etc.
They were never one people until of recent.
Infact all of them have different account of their origins.
Una go dey alright laslas
What I posted there didn't mention anything like "yoruba "....I can see that you have selective sight
