FIRST MESSAGE FORWARDED TO ME BY THE AGENT FROM THOSE PEOPLE.....

Good evening ma

Concerning Mr. Promise application we talked about earlier, I understand the situation you explained on the need to leave the country as soon as possible.

You recall I told you about the time required to arrange the New Zealand visa. If we have to wait for that one, he need to be patient for another 4 weeks at least.

The only thing I can suggest in this case is of we can switch his application to Qatar. We have an opening for a tourist visa to Qatar now and that will take only 2 weeks to be ready. Qatar is a very nice country, with better opportunities than New Zealand. Besides, the ticket cost for Qatar is not more than 300k, compared to New Zealand that is over 1m.

Let me know if he is interested so that we can make the move to retrieve his work from NZ tomorrow and put in Qatar for him by Monday.

I'm only doing this because you are the one involved and I cannot afford to ignore your request.

Take note if i am interested, i told her am not interested that they should continue with d new Zealand...
The so called agent had abit of compassion on you and didn't want to scam u probably because of your situation....I'm very sure, same person is behind all those emails......NZ dont do all those shady visa deals and haven't issue Visa within 4 weeks recently

If u think your safety isn't guaranteed, u should go to Dubai if it's easier to DIY and the 1.5M will help u in Dubai instead of giving it to any agent.
NZ is regarded as the least corrupt country in the world for a reason.....no agent can get u visa through the backdoor .

I was wondering too the kind of visa they issued to him.

These Travel agents are dubious. They may have packaged some things on his behalf.

Recall that last year I was given AU transit visa upon obtaining my NZL visa first. The reason is that, I intended to transit Perth enroute to Auckland. My AU transit visa is valid for 1 year and multiple entries.

I'm afraid, he can't stay in NZL with that kind of visa
yeah I recall.....yeah he can't even board a flight with that.

Hello bro.

This is like 2 years Visa.

What's the purpose of his travel, when they issue 2 years?
oga mi, no this travel authority is more of a transit visa than a visit visa.....it allows him to pass through NZ multiple times until it expires...usually I would expect this visa to be issued to someone with a visa waiver passport, tourist joining cruise ship from NZ or someone with onward travel plan just transiting through NZ.

I remember this was in the news few months ago as it's just been introduced...it's usually approved within a day and only cost $35....

If u don't have a visa waiver passport, u not transiting, u can't board any airline with this.

Thats the Nzeta mail. The reference numbers and passport numbers are scrambled on black.
The second is a screenshot of NZ immigration check
interesting....., it seems to have been issued by the appropriate authority. However, are u visiting NZ to stay or u only transiting? Also do you have any other passport aside the Nigerian passport?

Hello everyone.

Compliments of the season.

Thanks to everyone who has made this thread active especially to folks like@femijck
@ugsams who have selflessly poured out their knowledge to help others.

I applied for the Edmund Hilllary Fellwowship programme (www.ehf.org) which brings impact makers from around the world to New Zealand to lead change from the country. Fellows are granted the exclusive Global impact Visa (GIV) which is a three year open work visa that leads to permanent residence status. Unfortunately after going through the rigorous multi layered selection stages and getting to the finals my candidacy wasn’t successful at this time. However I was advised that in order to strengthen my candidacy that i will need to make a short visit trip first to New Zealand in order to better understudy how things work in that terrain .So I am at the point of planning that trip now and would want to seek out your advice which is a bit confidential and cannot be shared here .

So please @femijck @ugsams @Ticha @SAT123 @davodyguy . Can I pm you and if possible also do email exchanges .

Thanks for your continued support and God bless.

That category of visa is quite new to me..... but for a short visit, you only need a general visitor visa..... I’m keen to give any useful info I have on the visitor visa. Also u should follow @davodguy advice about reading through the thread.

Peace

Well I doubt the authenticity of his story, but since u already pay, don’t pay a single penny more and make sure they don’t put fake visa on ur passport..... NZ mostly issues e-visa at the moment..... if U do get the visa, tell us so we confirm it before u make any payment..

Peace!!

No I don’t think you need a transit visa as long ur passport is still valid for more than 6 months and u also hold an onward travel arrangements. However I will advise u confirm with the carrier airline or Indonesia embassy in NG..... when is ur departure.

It's not right for me to be superstitious, but you know as a Christian, we do pray that on the day of our joy, may death not visit us.

Two weeks a go, I saw 'RIP' on a friend's status and I asked what happened.

She said on a Friday, the guy was promoted, the next day (Saturday two weeks a go) he left Lagos to Ibadan to share the news with his parents, same day in died along Lagos Ibadan Express Way. That accident made the headlines two weeks a go.

What can you say to that?

Strange things happen, may God continue to protect us and may we not die before the appointed time and our destinies shall not be cut short in Jesus name

Oh definitely I get that, you know.... even though we try so hard not to believe in those things due to civilisation and religion, but the reality is that they are very real. And there are still people who dwell in the evil.

They don't accept scanned documents

How much can I mail the school from Nigeria?

Well, I thought of getting somebody I can send the scanned copy to who can print it, certify and submit to the school (university of Auckland )
No justice of Peace in NZ will certify a scanned copy without sighting the the original... go and certify with a notary public lawyer in Nigeria and ask the school for their mailing address if u don’t have it yet.... use fedex, DHL or registered post with Nipost.

The school asked me to submit certified copy of my international passport.

So i need someone Over there that I can send the scanned copy to who could just help me submit it to admission office

Thanks

If they accept scanned copy, then send it to the school directly or whoever had sent u that email. But if not, you will have to courier it to the mailing address.

Hello house,
Please I have a pressing situation that I need help with.

Please bear with me as this is quite lengthy

I got a PhD admission in New Zealand beginning of this year, but I was not able to secure the scholarship. And I could not afford their tuition and living expenses on my small salary. I applied for another scholarship which I was told might not be available till next year

Also at the same time, I got an admission in South Africa which I can afford as the school will pay the tuition and but you will have to take care of the living expenses yourself.

Therefore, in a bit to progress and not waste more time at home as I had already spent two years working on this, I decided to go to South Africa to start my PhD. I got a 3 years visa for my studies and September I decided to leave. When i arrived, my supervisor advised me to wait till next year to register officially as the year is almost over. But I can continue my research unofficially. I agreed.

Early this month, I received a letter that my scholarship has been granted for my studies in New Zealand to start immediately. Which is great news.

My question is, will the 3 years study visa in my passport for south africa affect my chances of getting a study visa for New Zealand? I havent been officially registered as a student here so will they have reservations about the S.A study visa?

Ps. The scholarship is not from New Zealand.

since you haven’t register officially as a student in SA, I don’t think that should be an issue.... but if u have concerns, u can explain and be upfront in your cover letter.
