A former Chairman, People's Democratic Party Board of Trustees, Chief Tony Anenih yesterday broke silence that Governor Adams Oshiomhole has no political relevance in Edo State and does not deserve to be replied especially on negative words against him and some elders of Edo State politics.

Anenih spoke yesterday during a stakeholders meeting of the PDP leadership held at his Benin City residence, where the national leadership including the Deputy National Chairman of the party, Dr. Sam Jaja, National Publicity Secretary, Barr. Olisah Metuh, National Women, Amb. Kema Chikwe, National Organising Secretary, Alhaji Abubakar Mustapha, Special Adviser to PDP National Chairman, Alhaji Ahmed Gusau and National Director of Mobilization, Mr. Andrew Musa reaffirmed their (national leadership) readiness to join forces with the state PDP ahead of the July 14 governorship election.

According to him, "People have been saying a small ‘boy’ is abusing you why don’t you reply him? If a mad man is running and a sane man runs after him, people will say two of them are mad."

Anenih rather said the party will reply Governor Oshiomhole and the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) through the ballot box when the PDP will win over overwhelmingly, saying that "PDP is ready democratically and legally to take over Edo State. We would go from ward to ward, from unit to unit from house to house and on the 14th of July Adams Oshiomhole will start parking from the state government house. We are ready to get him out through the ballot."
